Relax in our private vacation home! Our Rockaway Beach vacation rental has a partial ocean view and is just a few steps across the street to the sand! This house has been owned by our family for over 40 years. The ranch style house has been recently updated with a new kitchen, fresh carpet and paint, new sofa with recliners, and recently updated bath. The house is comfortable and well-maintained. We have a big living room with 2 couches and a large-screen TV which has Spectrum cable and the home now has WiFi. Enjoy the oceanview while eating at the large dining table. The house will comfortably hold 6 people. We have 2 bedrooms: each with a queen bed and a twin. We also have 2 twin roll-away beds in storage closets in the living room. The kitchen has been newly remodeled with a DISHWASHER, garbage disposal and real vent/fan over the stove! The house also has a laundry room with washer & dryer. The deck wraps around the front of the house, side and half the back. There is a Weber kettle BBQ. Restrictions are no smoking, no pets. Rockaway Beach is a quick drive from Portland and a quiet town with ice cream & candy shops, restaurants, antique shops and a lake nearby to take your family trout fishing.

Hosts were very responsive to a backed up sink. The house was OK, but it was dusty and dirty (we told the hosts who ) and extremely musty smelling.

The property is in a fantastic location. The beach is accessible in either direction. The house has a nice activity/game closet for kids and they also provided cable TV. All of the best spots in Rockaway Beach are walkable from this location as well. The kitchen was outfitted nicely and the washer/dryer worked well. Overall we had a great stay and would love to stay there again.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing vacation this past week! Thank you for providing a clean, cozy, and welcoming home for our stay! We watched the sunset from the front window each evening and took advantage of the easy beach access to either side of the house! The home was well stocked and had all we needed! Thanks again for a great time and we hope to stay again next Summer!

This place was so perfect for us! Great location, excellent communication and info from property owner, and so comfortable! The house was so equipped with everything we could have needed that it got to be a joke "I bet they have toothpicks, scissors, griddle, etc. "! Everything was very clean (bedding, couches, floors). Cannot say good enough about this place, we loved our stay!

Rockaway Beach Dream

Another great stay at Teresa’s beach house - my 8th I believe. She got a new fridge since last years stay and it works great. As usual, everything about the rental is exactly as described on line. Took Teresa’s advice and had lunch one day at Riverside Fish & Chips in Nehalem - really good stuff. And if you like smoked fish, check out Neahkahnie Smokehouse in Wheeler. Fabulous stuff including smoked Black Cod.

Family get away

Great Spot

The house was clean, beds were comfortable. Instructions for key and WiFi instructions were easy to follow. There were fun games and puzzles, even a step stool for our 4 year old! It was within walking distance to the beach and to town. Would definitely stay again.

Great little place

This is a great location and excellent value. The bed I slept in was very comfortable which is the biggest thing for me. There is only one bathroom as listed which was okay for 4 people but if there would have been 6 would have been more challenging. Adding a 1/2 bath somewhere to this place would make it phenomenal!

Great place for small family

This is the 6th or 7th time I've rented the McGuire house. Keep returning because this house is very affordable, always clean, walking distance to the beach and town, well-stocked, and Rockaway is a great location for daytrips north or south. Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach, Tillamook, Lincoln City all an hour or less drive.

Peaceful, quiet, comfortable home

This house was perfect for us. We had an obstructed view of the ocean with super close and easy access to the beach where we were able to finish each day by watching the sun set over the Pacific. We were also able to open our windows at night and go to sleep listening to the ocean waves as they lapped up on the beach. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house itself is wonderful. The kitchen is well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. It has a dishwasher and washer and dryer. Parking was easy but there are about 20 steps to get up to the house so pack accordingly. There is a home in front of this home that you share the driveway with. If it wasn't for their truck coming and going you would never know anyone was living there. Wifi access was great, communication with the owner was good, access to the home was easy and check in/out instructions were clear and simple. Overall, we enjoyed the house, ammenities, location and ease of staying here. Rockaway Beach is a lovely little town with beautiful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. It was a great place to watch the waves rolling in while sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying the beauty of the area.

Fantastic Location and Very Comfortable

Love staying here with my family. Very close to the beach with a partial ocean view and a five minute walk to the stores and restaurants in Rockaway Beach. Theresa is a great host. We look forward to saying here again soon!

Worked out just fine

The house is across the street from the first row of houses that are facing the ocean and up outdoor curving stairs. Parking in driveway shared with garage apartment was no problem. The view is slight front the front deck and living room windows- the water can be seen looking through the spaces of three houses. Bathroom sink drained slowly but not much of bother. The refrigerator did not cool and was reported to owners for repair. Kitchen seemed well-stocked. Beds were nice enough and comfortable. The place was somewhat dated but overall clean and comfortable. Location is centrally located for driving to Tillamook or opposite to Cannon Beach and Astoria. Quiet street in March. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Cozy Spot!

The kitchen was well stocked and provided a nice spot to make many meals. The cabin has been updated and provided a nice getaway for my family. Loved the couches and large dining table. The closet full of kid toys was great entertainment for my kids!

It was very nice. Proximity to the ocean mattered and we were pleased. Even the weather cooperated. Gorgeous weather and daily sunsets for our stay. Felt safe too.

Great Location

This is a comfortable little home, steps from the ocean. We visited/hiked all points from Seaside to Tillamook, with this home being easy travel to and from. Inventory in the kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. The Northern Oregon Coast is Beautiful. Staying in a comfortable home makes it nice to come back after long days out and about. Teresa responds promptly to texts.

Walking distance to downtown Rockaway and shops and restaurants. Un-crowded beaches with an inlet nearby for children to play in. Lake Lytle is close by for boating, water skiing, and fishing. Stay at our house and enjoy crabbing, ocean fishing, hiking, beachcombing, train riding, and sunbathing.
