The location is ideal for serenity while being exceptionally close to Beaver Creek Village and Avon. The chair lift is truly about 50 yards from exiting the ski locker room. During the visit, I learned in addition to the on-call shuttle, the Beaver Creek express buses stop just beside the gondola (adjacent to the chair lift). The stop is called simply, "Landing". During most of the day, an express between Landing and the Covered Bridge is available every few minutes. The host was attentively responsive. On our first morning when hot water didn't seem to flowing right away, I texted her and nearly right away she responded. She told me the unit was not occupied the previous week and the hot water may take a bit longer than usual to start flowing. Within a short time, the hot water was flowing. The unit is spacious, well furnished, and the beds are comfortable. If I were to make any immediate modifications there would be just two modest ones; a larger size (12") good quality fry pan, and a wall mounted coat rack on the wall adjacent to the front door.I would certainly look forward to staying here again.
