Everything you need, nothing you dont

This property gave us everything we needed for a weekend in Columbus, OH. No frills but everything was as described and I would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Good Amenities. Uncomfortable furniture. Looky-loo neighbors. Sleeps 7 technically but the sofa is the 7th spot and its not comfortable to sit on let alone sleep. Table only seats 4. Nothing in the listing says that the third bedroom is in the basement, which is technically not a crime.But when you have elderly and or disabled people in your party, it becomes problematic.

OSU Family Football Weekend

We spent the weekend visiting our daughter at OSU with extended family. The house was very clean and the special touches of wine, snacks, coffee were awesome. Thank you for a great place to enjoy with awesome amenities!

A Great Experience!

We stayed here while visiting our son in Columbus. My young adult daughters loved being able to sleep in separate rooms! The place is cute and super clean, the furniture is mostly quite comfortable, and the smart TVā€™s worked great. The ice maker in the fridge was a great perk!Robin was quick to answer questions- a great host!We really hope Robinā€™s place is available on our next trip to town!

Nice little place

Very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of sleeping space. Only negative - the kitchen is quite small but it was workable! Host was very communicative and helpful. Overall a great stay!

The poperty is too small for 7 people kitchen too small cabinets too old bathoom too small. I paid additional for 2 people because the manager said 7 people can stay but only 5 people staid in the property. Too much restriction the orst thing is there was moulding smell in the bedrooms whih which one of my friend get sick.

Warm welcome

The house was immaculately clean. We only used the two bedrooms on the main floor, but they were great. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is small, like most older homes, but we were able to make meals with no problems.

Great communication/Couldnā€™t stay

We were not able to stay in this house after all as there was an odor present as soon as we walked in the house. My daughter and I have asthma and allergies and the odors/mustiness were making it difficult for us to breathe comfortably. Did not realize the area in which this was located in an impoverished neighborhood. One of the advertised bedrooms was in the cinder block basement with no privacy doors. Owner provided prompt responses to all questions and was available to reach when we had an unexpected late check in.

Cozy and clean house, exactly as pictured and described in listing. We had everything we needed for our visit to attend the Texas-Ohio State game. About 15 minutes to campus, closer to brewpubs and restaurants downtown and in souther parts of town. Yes, the actual neighborhood is not one of the popular areas of Columbus, but within 5 minutes of anything you need. Staufs Coffee and Seventh Son Brewing were the highlights for me. Always found parking on street in front of house, neighbor actually came out and moved back to open a second space for us! Neighbors were quick to say hello, even to these Texas fans in enemy territory! Only bad note is that there is a lot of road repairs being done on many streets right now, so some stretches are a little rough, but nothing to keep you away.I enjoyed basically having my own quarters in the spacious basement, including the walk-in shower. The ping pong and foosball tables were a nice distraction, too.Host was quick to respond throughout entire process. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to anyone visting Columbus

My Go-To VRBO Stay!!!

This was my first time using any sort of VRBO stay. The app made it easy and Robin made me a total fan of these rentals. Robin was attentive, courteous and professional. She was completely okay with me communicating things with her- as they were happening. I am from Columbus and I will definitely book this house again the next time I am on extended stay visiting with my family.

Excellent Host

The property was sufficient for our needs. Be aware that the second bathroom is on the unfinished basement. Robin was extremely attentive when we had trouble getting the keypad to work on our arrival. There was also an issue with the furnace and she had a maintenance man there within 30 minutes and he quickly had it fixed.

Cute little house. Communication with owner was great leading up to check in, and that went well. The neighborhood is sketchy, but we didnā€™t have any problems. My wife didn't feel comfortable going for a run by herself, but that doesn't mean she would have had any trouble. The house met our needs. We needed a place to sleep and a kitchen to cook in. Kitchen is small but we made it work. We also enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement. That was sweet! I have a few recommendations. The kitchen table barely sits 2 peelople and there really isnā€™t anywhere else to eat. A larger table, even though the space is small would be better. Seating is limited. I believe the house can sleep up to 8 people, but there is only seating for about 3 maaaaybe 4 people in the living room. At the very least the basement needs more seating. The basement bedroom could use an upgrade to the bed and a door. Very strange to have a bedroom with no privacy door. Second bathroom is right off that room though so that was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the price was fantastic. Thanks!

The property was just as described & was nice & clean. Robin, our host, responded to a problem that came up & kept working it until she got it resolved, something that is outstanding in a host. And if you like German Village, this location is only a stone's throw away.

Nur bedingt zu empfehlen

Die Nachbarschaft, in der sich das Haus befindet ist etwas fragwĆ¼rdig und nicht unbedingt schƶn. Was uns am meisten gestƶrt hat, ist dass das Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern beworben wird. Ein Schlafzimmer befindet sich im Keller direkt neben der Klimaanlage, die die ganze Nacht einen HƶllenlƤrm gemacht hat und wir nicht wirklich schlafen konnten. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und wollten 2 NƤchte bleiben, sind jedoch nach der ersten Nacht abgereist. Fazit: fĆ¼r eine Nacht ok, aber nicht fĆ¼r lƤngere Aufenthalte und nur bis 4 Personen. Positiv war die kleine Tischtennisplatte im Keller.
