A few paces from the beach, your condo is also within walking distance to Coconut Marketplace. Youā€™ll love the easy access to the entire island from the desirable East Coast location!

Located in the oceanfront Niihau Building, your top-floor corner unit features unobstructed ocean views. Enjoy morning coffee and the sound of the waves on your breezy private lanai. Whip up beach snacks in the kitchenette - with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Extras include AC, high-speed WiFi, TV, and beach towels.

THINGS TO KNOW
This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer. However, towel exchanges are offered for guests every Monday and Thursday.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC.
Third-floor unit, no elevator.
Spalling repair will begin on June 23rd, and expected to be completed by August 18th. Construction on the railings, walkways, and stairs will take place between 9:00 am, and 5:00 pm.
Please note Islander on the Beach will be doing spalling repairs. The spalling project will begin 12/1/25. The lanai will be blocked off to guests from 12/1-12/15 at minimum. The view may also be obstructed during this time.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 3.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This is a superb property! One of the very best units at Aston Islands, On The Beach, which is a very nice complex. This one is directly on the ocean, top floor, call the unit which means an extra window facing south with a whole bunch of different viewers, including ā€œ a close up (but never noisy) seen at lava lava beach, restaurant and bar, which is the next property over to the south. The sound of waves is constant and you hear nothing from the bar. This is just a great place to stay. Late 90% of the units in On The Beach. It desperately needs kitchen renovated getting rid of the ridiculous arms, which take up half the kitchen space all over this property and installing a proper size sink and fridge. These things are miserable and depressing so it really doesnā€™t deserve five stars, but Iā€™mgiving it anyway because the location is so good.

Das Condo im Aston Islander on the Beach ist wunderschƶn. Als wir angekommen sind, war es durch die Klimaanlage angenehm heruntergekĆ¼hlt. Alles ist sehr sauber, es gibt GlƤser, Tassen und Teller fĆ¼r vier Personen, viele HandtĆ¼cher in alles GrĆ¶ĆŸen und auch StrandtĆ¼cher. Besonders schƶn ist der Balkon mit den HochstĆ¼hlen und dem hohen Tisch, so kann man sehr schƶn auf das Meer gucken. Das Bett ist bequem, das Badezimmer gut ausgestattet (Seife, Shampoo, Conditioner, Fƶn). Reinigungsmittel fĆ¼r KĆ¼che und Bad sowie Toilettenpapier und KĆ¼chenpapier gibt es auch.Es gibt immer einen Parkplatz!Nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist das Marketplace mit Shops und Restaurant.Ein perfekter Ort fĆ¼r perfekte Urlaubstage!

Perfect Holiday!

The condo at the Aston Islander on the Beach is beautiful. When we arrived, the air conditioning kept it pleasantly cool. Everything is very clean; there are glasses, cups, and plates for four people, plenty of towels in all sizes, and even beach towels. The balcony with its high chairs and high table is especially nice, offering a beautiful view of the ocean. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is well-equipped (soap, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer). Cleaning supplies for the kitchen and bathroom, as well as toilet paper and paper towels, are also provided. Parking Lot is always available and a few steps away is the Marketplace with shops and restaurants. Perfect place for perfect holidays!

First condo of our trip

This condo worked out perfectly for our family of three. It was very clean, well stocked, and most of all had a great view of the ocean! We found it to be centrally located for the activities we had planned. The resort grounds and pool area are beautifully landscaped with many different types of plants and flowers. This has definitely set the bar high for the other places we stay on the other islands of our Hawaii trip.

Location, Location, Location

The condo is a simple ā€œhotel roomā€ style studio, but it was perfect for us. And the Location was amazing! Both the beachfront location (with amazing ocean views and listening to the waves from the lanai!), and also the location in Kapaa and right behind the Coconut Marketplace - it was fantastic! I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a hotel style condo with a truly great location!

Fabulous stay!

This was our second time staying in this unit and we already booked for next year. The location is fantastic and centrally located to both ends of the island. The view is amazing, the pool and hot tub are clean and refreshing, and the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The Coconut Market Place is next to the Islander and there are a few great restaurants on the property.

Perfect for our stay

This charming studio met our needs quite nicely. It is a walk up...so if you struggle with stairs keep looking! Plentiful linens provided so we did not need to take advantage of the towel exchange. There is a small farmer's market a couple of days a week in the parking lot of the Coconut marketplace, and the central location made it an easy drive to other parts of the island. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Gorgeous unit!!

My favorite part of staying here was the ocean view!!! I loved sitting out on the lanai and feeling the ocean breeze and listening to the waves! I walked down the stairs and the beach was right in front of me and pool was right around the corner. The ocean was calm enough to swim in and the pool was so nice because there's a bar at the pool and my favorite bartender was **** and he played the best songs. It's also a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Everything was right at my fingertips and being there just melted all of my stress away!!! Best vacation ever!!!

The location is central to the rest of the island making it very convenient to explore from there. The resort/unit had everything youā€™d need for an amazing stay. Along with the coconut marketplace right behind. Will definitely return! Highly recommend!

Nice unit and view. The beach is not for swimming due to rocks and currents but nice to look at. Friendly staff. The only drawback are the roosters crow all the time but then they are all over the island

Great ocean front studio in central location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The ocean is literally 50 feet away with loungers on the beach for guests. Great sunrise views from the lanai. The building this unit is in is a 30 second walk to the pool, hot tub and pool bar. The property is beautifully landscaped and lush. Be prepared for substantial wind and wave noise on the lanai being that close to the water though. Surprisingly the pool area was very sheltered if that is more your thing.
