With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, it comfortably accommodates up to eight guests on your next coastal escape.

Cast a line for redfish, trout, flounder, black drum, sheepshead, and blue crabs, or fish the night away right from the shore or by kayak. Old Captain Dave’s reef runs just offshore, offering fantastic fishing opportunities. Fall break, coast trip for the kiddos.

This place did not disappoint. My kids had fall break this week so we decided to take a last-minute trip to the coast. The house had plenty of room, the house was clean and the yard was well-maintained. It’s a short driving distance to H-E-B, Walmart, and the gas station. The fishing was amazing under the lights, the first two nights. We caught a little bit of the front and the wind picked up on our last night. One of our best experiences we have had and we will definitely rebook a future trip. 5 starts all around

Enjoyed the stay, close to good restaurants and shopping, wasn’t expecting price to jump to 475.00 a night but it was what it was, with trip insurance it was over 2100.00 for 4 nights

The entire experience was wonderful. The property was large and the view from the fishing pier was beautiful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Very quite neighboring properties. We would gladly book another stay.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed staying at property! The house was very clean, had plenty of towels, stocked kitchen, and nice decor. Enjoyed fishing on the peer and relaxing in the spa pool. The pool was smaller than expected, it was probably around 2ft deep. Overall the house was great!

We like Rockport and these are the properties that we always stay at, once a year for our fishing vacation, we enjoy going fishing! Liked that it had some yard for my special need son to walk around. It exceeded My expectations love the TV ROKU in the master bedroom it was great for my special needs son he was able to watch cartoons and I didn’t have to put on the DVD I took with me that was the best thing! Always very nice & ready to assist you with anything and very knowledgeable

The property was very beautiful but WARNING! The house does not cool down lower than 79 degrees. All day the house would stay at 83 degrees even if the AC was running all day. Would not recommend if you care about sleep in a comfortable environment.

Our stay

It was a fun weekend. Wished the weather was better. We did need to call to have the pool cleaned as it was very dirty and full of bugs. Pump probably should have been on a better schedule. Also the pool deck was very uneven and a little hard to navigate. Also the beds all squeaked and made sleeping a little hard. We also could have used more towels. 1 per adult is not enough for a 5 day 4 night stay. We ended up washing a load of towels. Other than that it was a nice stay.

September visit

The property is as described, decor is up to date and overall nice. The pool is nice,but unseated. However, upon our arrival, massive amounts of trash was left next to the entry, enough that we had to step over food a shellfish from the previous tenants. We did arrive right after a storm so we just assumed that may have caused a delay. I called and maintenance showed up the second day to clear it up, but looking at it for two days was not a good start. The next day, the winds were strong and the inside door handle came out of the door making it a challenge to close in high winds. I rigged a string to it until it could be repaired. The third day the weather got better and sunny, however the AC then went out. Maintenance came that day and fixed the door knob and checked the AC. The AC had an issue and notified us that an AC repair service would be out to fix it. We waited awhile but it being the last day and our grandkids were antsy, we elected to leave to enjoy our last day and suffer thru the last night without ac. The staff attempted to resolve all the issues and were as helpful as can be. We did enjoy fishing on the pier the last night.

The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because of the tree in the yard that blocks much of the view. Super friendly customer service! Not problems at all.
