Located on the well known Santa Ana Square, this is the perfect place for those who are willing to stay in the middle of MadridĀ“s historic and tourist centre. Although the apartment is surrounded by the most centric Metro stations, getting on the metro can be avoided. ā€œPRINCIPE TWIN SANTA ANAā€ has 5 people capacity on a 4th floor without lift. The gorgeous flat (60 square meters) is very bright where every room has a window. The apartment ā€œPRINCIPE TWIN SANTA ANAā€ is decorated in elegant colours to make the atmosphere more enjoyable. This apartment is exceptionally restful and functional with free wifi internet and air conditioning. The entrance hall leads into a living /dining area with one balcony facing out the street. It is furnished with one 3-seater sofa, a wooden coffee table, a shelving with LCD TV, DVD and a wooden dining table. There are two bedrooms: 1 double (queen-sized bed 1.60m x 1.90m) and 1 single (2 single bunk beds 0.90m x 1.90m). The living room has a sofa-bed up for 1 people. There is a bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen modern and functional is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, 2-ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a breakfast bar with two stools. As small household-electric we can emphasize vacuum cleaner, iron, cooker, water boiler, coffee machine, toaster, teapot, glasswork and set of dishes.

TAXI: Cost 30 euros FLAT RATE depending on traffic. 20-40 minute journey

UNDERGROUND: Cost 5 euros per person. Take the line to COLOMBIA, then short connection to line 9 to ARGANDA DEL REY, get off at PRINCIPE DE VERGARA, then take line number 2 to CUATRO CAMINOS. Get out at SEVILLA, and then follow straight on Sevilla Street until you arrive to Canalejas plaza. Then follow straight on and you will find del PRINCIPE street. 40 minute journey.

2. - FROM TRAIN STATION

PUERTA DE ATOCHA TRAIN STATION: Take line number 1 direction Pinar de ChamartĆ­n. Get off on SOL, then change to line 2. Get out on SEVILLA stop, and then follow straight on Sevilla Street until you arrive to Canalejas plaza. Then follow straight on and you will find del PRINCIPE street. 10 minute journey.

I was unfamiliar with the stove in the unit, but the prpperty manager and the lady who cleans the apartment responded immediately to my questions. I really appreciated the washer and dryer for our 10 day stay. The location was perfect for a first trip to Madrid. All major sites are between 10 to 20 minute walk away. It was perfect to observe new years celebrations

This unit met ALL of our expectations! The host helped coordinate ourcpickup atcthe airport, and accomodated an early drop off of luggage prior to check in. The location was perfect for grabbing local bites, charming shops, and late night music and meals. Easy taxi or Uber pickup. I'd absolutly stay here again. Thanks so much for some great memories!

Had 4 days away with my 2 sisters. Could have spent them just in this area. It was amazing. The flat was compact but had everything we needed. It was very secure and communication with the owners was fantastic. She sent us lots of useful places to see and eat.

Fantastic Location

We were very pleased with our stay in Madrid. The location of the apartment is centrally located ā€¦ a few blocks from Plaza Del Sol and Plaza Major and an easy walk to the Prado Museum and the Palace. The accommodations were comfortable, the host was helpful, and there are many dining options in the surrounding neighborhood. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Madrid.

Comfortable and Brught Apt in the Perfect Location

This property was just right for my husband and I, and our two teenaged boys. It was in a busy part of Madrid where you could step out to a vibrant scene of restaurants and shopping, yet not as busy as Grand Via which had much more congestion and car traffic. If I return to Madrid, Iā€™d stay here again. The apartment building/room is secured by three locked doors and the property has less than 10 units. The unit we stayed in was welcoming and received a lot of sunlight and was nicely decorated. Each room had its own air conditioning unit.

My wife snd I were extremely pleased with the accommodations and especially the location it was perfect! Communicate with the property management was excellent. Beautifully renovated apartment. Crucial features not east to find in Madrid: LIFT! WASHER/DRYER Best location. Easy walk east to museums and west to Royal Palace. Best restaurant we found was 3 doors south: Finca de Susanna.

Food, art and walking

This is a great location with easy walking access to old city restaurants, amazing art and good shopping. The apartment was clean, well equipped enough that we cooked full dinners several times. It was very helpful to have Helena and Jose organize airport pick ups for us. Great wifi if you are working.

Lively Location!

Three of us travelled to Madrid for the week and enjoyed our stay! We found this adorable little flat VERY clean with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the shower. Night life is a real thing in Madrid but with a white noise app on our phones we could sleep well. You will be very comfortable staying here. Jose our host was very responsive and accommodating! If coming to Madrid again, we would stay here. The location was perfect.

Great Location

The apt was clean and very comfortable. Jose was a fantastic host. He and the property owner were quick to respond when necessary. Check In/Out was very easy! The location canā€™t be beat. Very close and convenient to what you need and the restaurants were great! A bit of construction was going on, some building areas were a bit dustyā€¦understandably. I would stay here again!

Very good location, great apartment

The photos and description are very accurate. The location truly is unbeatable. We hardly needed to get on the Metro, everything you need and want to see is within 15min walking distance. There is an air conditioner in every room with its own remote control. Check-in and check-out process went smooth. Friendly host. Plenty of closet space to store your belongings. Safe environment.

Party location

Everyone I dealt with at this property was lovely and Huertas is charming 16 hours a day. But this location is on a street with a LOT of bars and the party lasts until 5 am on the weekend. If thatā€™s your style or if you can sleep through the noise, youā€™ll be fine.

Amazing location

The apartment is in the city center and was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). The washing machine was very helpful. the front rooms (living room and main bedroom) face a street and it was lively/noisy during parts of the night, but I ended up using my phone to play ā€œwhite noise,ā€ and it ended up blocking out most of the nightly noise. I would recommend this property.

We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment, its location, and all of the amenities. We loved how easy it was to get around. The rolladens shut out the noise from the street when we were ready to sleep. While we were in the apartment we opened the balcony doors to enjoy the fresh air. We also appreciated that JosƩ arranged transportation to and from the airport. We are very pleased with our stay and will stay here when we come back to Madrid!

In the middle of the action

Central location, comfortable queen bed, adequate storage, many dining choices, (donā€™t put up with rude waiters, walk out instead). Try Susannaā€™s (sp?) just down street, excellent. Use ear plugs at night as boisterous bars nearby let out late. The couple that let you in the first time were very helpful!

Wonderful Madrid Stay

Exactly as listed. Wonderful location within walking distance to Palace, museums, restaurants, bars, shops.. exactly what I hoped for. Nice little balcony to watch the action below. AC worked great and nice to have washer/dryer unit. Good water pressure in shower. Kitchen well equipped. Dish washer good. Just me, but can accommodate four people no problem. We had a 1 week stay and I believe the price point is worth the value. We were within a 15-minute walk to all of the major sights of Madrid. The subway station was a 5 minute walk away and there is a constant flow of taxis in the nearby traffic circle. There are great restaurants everywhere, lots of shopping, and bars. The street below is noisy, but that is to be expected. The revelers are out as late as 6am, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The apartment is small, but sleeps 4 easily and has everything you need. We were only there to rest, shower, or drop things off as needed so we did not use the kitchen or cook at all. Communication was great and overall I would highly recommend it.

MADRID is the place to be!!!! I am a world traveler who prefers to stay at vacation rental properties because there is nothing more than having a place you can call home. There are a huge number of things to do in Madrid, but it is often the famous Madrid shopping streets that lure people into renting Madrid accommodation. The fashion boutiques and local craft shops which adorn the central business district mean that shopping holidays in Madrid are never far from the top of the list for shopping destinations. The huge range of styles and cuisine of Madrid restaurants also helps to keep energy levels high, and fantastic cooking courses lasting between a single session and a whole week can easily be arranged. The medieval centre of Madrid hides many fantastic monuments. Those taking a Madrid weekend break are best staying in accommodation close to the historic centre, as there is so much here that you can fit a huge amount into just a short Madrid city break. The ā€˜big threeā€™ museums in Madrid, the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia, hold famous collections of art, and tourism in Madrid is often centred around the Puerta del Sol right in the city centre.
