Serenity in the Woods sleeps 10 and is the perfect getaway for two families or one big one! Create lifetime memories in this little slice of peace amongst the trees. Serenity in the Woods is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath cabin with a loft room. It offers two master king bedrooms with en-suite bath on the first floor, a small bunk room with 4 built-in bunks for the kids on the second, as well as an open room with a daybed and trundle mattress.

The open concept kitchen and living room offer a gas fireplace and serene view of the trees surrounding the 3 sided deck. Enjoy grilling a burger, sipping the beverage of your choice, or watching the kids frolic on the swings, all from the cozy outdoor fireplace and steaming hot tub. Besides swings, horseshoe pit, and cornhole, the entire family will enjoy the arcade table, shuffleboard, Smart TVs with YouTubeTV provided for live channels, and Google home throughout.

The cabins is equipped with a full kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, hot tub, propane grill, 2 propane fireplaces, and a fire pit.

This cabin is NOT pet friendly.

Beautiful home! We had a great time spending Christmas here with the quietness of the area. We explored around Hocatown one day and really liked everything we did. Highly recommend!

Host was very responsive, always answered our questions quickly. Check in and out were easy. The house was very roomy and clean. We had everything we needed to cook meals. The house location is good. Our group of seven ladies really enjoyed our stay. Will come back again in the future

Great property! Was the perfect place for 2 small families. 2 masters downstairs with a roomy living area and a lovely deck outside for the adults to relax. A spacious playroom with fun games for the kids upstairs (and a cute bunk room), and a great area outside with more games and plenty of room for the kids to run around! Great location between Hochatown and Broken Bow. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was a little hard to find but beautiful. I was concerned because we did detect a leak in the hall bathroom as well as 2 leaks coming from upstairs into one of the bedrooms and the foyer. There are definitely plumbing issues that need to be addressed but the property was clean, pretty, and the manager was very responsive

Thank you for for your feedback! We are thrilled that you had a great stay overall. We had a plumber and a roofer out to inspect and we found some siding that needed repair, and a faulty shower valve. Both have since been replaced and we are confident that the leaks have been repaired. We hope to host you again and earn that final star.

The property is very well maintained & has fantastic amenities! The owners communicated very well with us and provided all the necessary kitchen items for cooking all our meals. We love Broken Bow and had a fantastic time! Definitely will recommend this cabin & surrounding area to everyone!

Check in was easy with no problems. The games upstairs will keep kids entertained. The hottub did me! The homeowners kept plenty of dishes and other various cooking supplies. There are 4 bathrooms!! I slept great! I had to look at the mattress to see what brand.

Great place to stay! Communication was wonderful, there was a small leak from upstairs bathroom so we had to stop using that bathroom but overall we really enjoyed our stay here!

Secluded and Stunning

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. The off the road property line allowed our kiddos to explore and enjoy the small creek, swings and fire pit while also creating their own adventures. The hot tub and back patio had the perfect view of the backyard and stunning sunrise/sunset. We enjoyed the kids quarters being upstairs.

Greats for Bachelorettes! Just a few issues!

Overall this was a great property and we had a great time for my sisters bachelorette! The last night we stayed there was a wasp/mud dobber infestation inside the house (which the owners said was a rare occurrence) They did come over and try and help right when we called which was nice!! Aside from that our only complain was that there was only one dishwasher pod, laundry pod, and trash bag. If you plan on staying for more than a few days you have to bring your own. Overall great property and nothing that completely altered our stay!

Overpriced and Poorly Maintained Cabin

During our annual trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma, my family and I stayed at Serenity in the Woods, and it was a disappointing experience. The cabin's cleanliness was unacceptable. The floors were so dirty that walking barefoot left my feet black within minutes. Dirt and crumbs were everywhere, and we found spiders in the bed, five wasps inside the cabin, and a filthy bathroom we avoided entirely. The hot tub had dirt at the bottom and grime at the waterline, and the dishes were visibly dirty, with some left unwashed in the dishwasher. When we reported these issues, the owner sent a cleaning manager who addressed some problems, but the wasps were never removed. The outdoor area was also a letdown. Lights in the fire pit area were out, and the proximity to other cabins meant little privacy and constant noise. For the price, we expected a more private and well-maintained experience. The only positive was the owner's quick response, but the number of issues at the start of the trip, left us with a bad impression. We've stayed in Broken Bow many times and never had so many problems, especially not at this price point. From our experience, this cabin was overpriced and poorly maintained.

We are very saddened that the overall experience was unsatisfactory. We had a new cleaning team that did not perform to our standards and we acknowledged this with the guest and sent someone over immediately to address all issues reported, having completed within 2 hours of reporting. We recleaned everything reported and more (taking photos of before and after) to make sure the experience the rest of their stay would be comfortable. In addition, we refunded the entire holiday cleaning fee of $350. We also addressed it with the cleaner and they no longer work for us. We have a high expectation for our team and we will do everything in our power to remedy any reported issues. We did not hear back from the guest after the cleaning was redone and had no knowledge of wasps. We haven't seen them, nor have any been reported before, but we will investigate to be sure there is no issue going forward. I regularly test the outdoor lights and haven't had a problem with them turning on. If we had heard from the guests about this, I would have been happy to show them where the light switch is located for the lights. We hope that our efforts to make things right, quickly and efficiently, and our continued efforts to perform better in the future will speak to our commitment to ensuring a good rental experience.

Just Like Home

We had a blast staying here! Our boys loved the bunkbeds and the fund games. We were very thankful for the blackout shades in the bedrooms. Everything was nice and the location is perfect! We especially loved the easy checkout!!
