Cabin 3, the delightful Joy cabin in the heart of Moravian Falls, NC

Our brand new (cabin 3) The JOY CABIN is centered about two tenths of a mile from the Moravian Falls, about three miles from PRAYER MOUNTAIN. And about five miles from the Gathering Church. Were located about 6-7 miles from Kerr Scott Lake. We are located 25-30 minutes from the Blueridge Parkway.
Our cabin offers a kitchenette with sink, med refrigerator, microwave, toaster, two burner hot plate, toaster, keurig coffee pot. ( We supply k-cups) Dishes and cookware. Queen size rustic bed with nightstand and lamp. Futon couch bed for extra guest and a side table and lamp. Pub table with two bar stools. Two ceiling fans. Mini split with heat and air. Separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. We supply all linens, towels, wash cloths, blankets, quilt, pillows, trash bags, salt and pepper. (We also supply one complimentary bundle of fire wood for fire pit.) You will need to purchase your own after that.)Bring your own lighter fluid and charcoal for grill.) Each cabin has a porch with bench, a shared fire pit with nine chairs for roasting marshmallows and s’mores. There is a picnic table and a campsite grill for each cabin. Each one has its own trash can. We please ask that you tie up your garbage before putting into cans. Please keep cabins tidy and outside property as well. You must bring your own food and remove upon check out. Please remove sheets and pillow cases from bed. Please place them as well as all dirty towels and wash cloths into hamper.There is a white hamper next to bed for dirty linens. Please do not put feminine products into toilet. We have well water and feminine products could cause toilets to overflow. Please do not wear dirty shoes in cabins, there are nice area rugs and we ask you please keep them clean.Please wash all dishes and put away. Please keep the remote for mini split in white holder at all times. Remote for tv is in drawer next to futon couch. Please put back in that drawer upon check out. We offer have internet and a roku tv. You are already signed in. Check out is 11.00am Check in 3.00 pm. Please come to get refreshed and rested up. And have a wonderful stay.

Great stay to breakup a long trip! Clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for a small space. The fire pit was beautiful, sorry I did nt have enough time to use it!!

Great little cabin and ice cold a/c, futon was a little rough on the back and no extra blankets for it but we made do lol. Will most def stay again next year.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It’s in a beautiful location and it’s very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was spotless with lots of personal touches. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.

Nice tiny home but too tiny sink...could be bigger. Nice shower heat, never seen one like that, cool! Not pleased to see survey camera on porch turning to me. A wall hanger for clothes absolutely necessary. Found ice built at freezer area with refrigerator door not completely closed. Diamond of the cabin was the air conditioning...very silent, not even knowing that was working and very efficient. Best of all A/C in all hotels/motels/cabins that I stayed until this cabin. I did not find an emergency number ... in case of water pipe burst or drainage blockage.Places to see in the area: Moravian Water Falls, Love Valley (a lost in time cowboy town), Captain Galley Seafood at Granite Falls, Lenoir, Hickory and West Jefferson towns...to name few of them.The two cabins, 2 and 3, that stay in front each other, not very good idea of the architects/owners. They are good for friends or bigger family staying together, but not for people that do not know each other. Otherwise, the landscape is very nice. Don't know why the cabin nr. 1 it's not listed for renting, that one having more privacy.

Peaceful and perfect tiny cabin

We just needed a place to sleep without spending a ton of money like they are asking at hotels these days. Perfect space for 2… highly recommended!

Beautiful Quiet Peaceful

The cabin was as described and immaculately clean. It was far enough off the road that there was no road noise. The community fire pit was a great place for our group to gather and the charcoal grills and picnic tables were a nice addition. The property owner was very responsive to questions and answered them promptly. I would like to stay here again.

Very accommodating and peaceful.

Our hosts were truly super hosts. They attended to every need. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. What a beautiful place to unwind, pray and destress. Thank you David and Donna for every kindness!

Randy and Pat were so very dear to us. They were excellent guest! So very quiet and very clean. They took wonderful care of our property. We had a great time with them at our church. We would welcome them back anytime. We all became like family in everyway.

Joy Cabin

We loved our stay in the Joy Cabin!! It was so peaceful. We needed some down time for a couple nights. It was a perfect place to rest, be at peace and get some alone time in the woods. We Thank Donna and David our host for such a nice place and their communications were excellent! Beautiful couple! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
