This is my family’s new happy place. Surrounded by wildflowers and nature. Hiking nearby. Yellowstone Park is just a short scenic drive. Other hiking trails were nearby (don’t forget the bear spray). It’s a nice inviting place to return to after a busy day in Yellowstone. One highlight was two moose wandering into the yard while I was eating ice cream on the porch.

This was truly a dream vacation for our family. Coming from Florida, seeing snow was magical—and this cabin made the experience even better. It was cozy, spotless, and perfectly located in a friendly neighborhood with so much to do nearby. The host was wonderful, and we already know we’ll stay here again when we return in another season.

Cute, clean place. Our group enjoed our visit. The cabin had plenty of room for our group.

We stayed for a week snd slept great every day. We were close to Yellowstone park and had a fantastic visit.

Great location for West Yellowstone

Perfect home for a visit to Yellowstone- it was about a 20 min drive from West Yellowstone and in a much less commercial and busy area. The home was clean, well stocked, and was in a nice quiet location. One of our highlights was watching a young moose eat dinner outside the home.

Great cabin right by Yellowstone

This is a great place to stay and base your national park vacation, plenty of common space to socialize with your family and friends. There isn't much in the way of privacy though, you can hear anything that happens anywhere else in the cabin.

Yellowstone Family Vacation

The property was very accommodating for my family and it is very well maintained. Our family of six (6) were very comfortable and the manager made sure we had every amenity available during our stay. I highly recommend this property to any family planning a trip in that area!!

Some places simply give you a place to sleep. This beautiful cabin gave our family a place to make memories.Our Yellowstone adventure was especially meaningful because it was a trip for Grandma, Grandpa, and our teenage granddaughter before she started high school. After each day exploring the park, it was wonderful to return to this peaceful cabin surrounded by pine trees and wildflowers.The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated with natural wood and wildlife touches, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax. Our granddaughter loved the games and movies upstairs, while I enjoyed reading from the small library with the windows open, listening to the breeze whisper through the pines. We even spotted the neighborhood moose one evening!The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and we enjoyed grilling dinner, relaxing around the fire pit, and spending time together in the outdoor seating area.One of our favorite surprises was when Justin stopped by with warm, homemade cookies. That kindness made us feel so welcome. We also loved reading the binder that shared the cabin's history and the story behind this dream retreat.This wasn't just a place to stay—it became part of our family's memories. If you're looking for a peaceful, comfortable home base for Yellowstone, this cabin is a true gem. We left with grateful hearts and hope to return someday.

Yellowstone Home

It was the perfect and comfortable stay while visiting Yellowstone. Made great use of the kitchen for breakfast and dinner while picnicking during the day at the park. Pleasantly surprised with a batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Great location!

This cozy and immaculate cabin had one of the most complete kitchens we’ve experienced in rental properties. Justin was exceptionally responsive each time we reached out to him. He even gave us great tips on where to go flyfishing!

Private location close to West Yellowstone

This is a great place for families to enjoy the quiet of the rural area, yet still be close enough to West Yellowstone to access the park, shopping and restaurants. The local grocery near by had everything we needed to make our meals we wanted to and the property had the cooking tools. It was relaxing and homey. The beds were very comfortable! Thank you!

Family Trip to Yellowstone

Our family of 4, with 2 teenagers, stayed in this cottage for our trip to Yellowstone. It was perfect and met our needs. Everyone had their own space. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and the shower was great! Kitchen basics were provided, which was great, and the owner even left cookies, which was a nice treat! The cabin is about 20 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone but, for us, it was nice to be outside of West Yellowstone so the commute was fine. There is a grocery store in both Island Park and West Yellowstone at which you can pick up what you need but they are a bit pricy so if you are near a Walmart or the like and can pick up non-perishables on your way in, I would recommend.

My recent stay at Island Park, ID, was nothing short of enchanting, thanks to the delightful cabin that became our home-away-from-home during this unforgettable trip. From the moment we set foot in this tranquil haven, we were captivated by its charm, serenity, and warmth. Nestled amidst nature's embrace, the cabin exuded a sense of coziness that enveloped us like a warm hug. The peaceful surroundings provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and we felt instantly relaxed and rejuvenated. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible wildlife encounter we experienced. Imagine our excitement when we spotted a majestic moose with her adorable baby strolling by the cabin! It was a sight to behold, and it reminded us of the beauty and wonders of the natural world. Moreover, our host, Justin, went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. Not only was he attentive to our needs, but he also took our son fly fishing, which turned out to be an incredible adventure. Our son couldn't stop talking about the fishing trip and the valuable tips Justin shared, making this stay even more special. Throughout our visit, Justin proved to be an excellent host, responding promptly to any queries or concerns via text, which made us feel well taken care of and allowed us to focus on creating cherished memories. Justin was a great host. Left us a little welcome gift on arrival. His binder of ideas is great. He has typical equipment for the area available to rent (bear spray, fishing, and more!) at very reasonable rates.House is very nice, as the pictures show.
