Cedar Rest is a charming, cozy cabin that welcomes you into its comfortable ambiance.
The Cedar Rest offers the perfect location for exploring all Yellowstone and Eastern Idaho have to offer. The Cedar Rest is located a mere 17 miles from the gates of Yellowstone National Park and West Yellowstone, Montana. It is located approximately ¼ mile off of Highway 20 in a nice, wooded subdivision with plenty of solitude. Whatever adventures you might seek on your vacation Cedar Rest is within minutes of all of the areas attractions.
This three bedroom cabin offers a king bed in the roomy master bedroom and bath, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom is complete with a nice full size and twin size bed. Each room is spacious with plenty of closet space and storage. All bedding is provided with extra pillows and blankets. Cedar Rest will sleep 7 guests comfortably. There are two full bathrooms with all linens provided.
Enjoy the open floor plan. The Cedar Rest is great place to gather. The open layout of the kitchen, living room and dining area offers a setting everyone will enjoy to take time to relax and reminisce about the days adventures. The fully stocked kitchen provides everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. Even the most discriminating cook will be happy with this well equipped kitchen. The dining area seats six, while the bar area seats an additional four. Enjoy your evenings in the living room with a large flat screen television a wide variety in the video library and Wi-Fi access with sling tv. The fireplace and cozy atmosphere will have you yearning to curl up with a good book.
The large laundry room has a full capacity washer and dryer with all laundry soaps provided for your stay.
If the outdoors is beckoning, rest assured that the fire pit and deck at Cedar Rest is the perfect area to gather with family and friends to roast marshmallows and visit. A full sized barbeque grill is provided for your enjoyment.
Cell phones work well at Cedar Rest. WIFI is also provided for your use. Unlike many rental homes in our area, Cedar Rest provides a garbage service for your convenience. No last minute trips to the dump to inconvenience our guests.
Arrive at any time, for your convenience; we have Resort Lock for our guests –offering you security with your own personal access code avoiding the cabin without the tedious check-in process.
Cedar Rest is open year around and is conveniently located in a central location. Your vacation home base is within minutes of some of the areas best activities. Just down the road is a public boat launch for Henry’s Lake. Abundant fishing opportunities are available in every direction – enjoy fly fishing on Henry’s Fork of the Snake or the Madison Rivers or drop your line in the numerous lakes and reservoirs. Take the time to enjoy the beauty of Mesa Falls, feed the fish at Big Springs and tour Johnny Sacks Cabin, all within minutes of leaving the cabin. Activities are numerous and fun filled – float trips, hiking, horseback riding and golf are just a few of the many features that can be enjoyed within just a few miles of the cabin. Snowmobile and atv riders, you can leave right from Cedar Rest, you will be delighted with miles of exploring on an elaborate trail system. This area is a snowmobiles paradise, with something for every riding level. Nordic Skiing opportunities are right out the door or groomed trails systems are within minutes at Harriman State Park and West Yellowstone.
During the winter, the driveway is plowed. There is ample space for a snowmobile trailer and vehicles. Should your party need more space there is a public parking area approximately ½ mile from the cabin.
Spring and summer are beautiful at the cabin. Nature comes to you as the area is notorious for wildlife frequenting the area. It is always exciting when an occasional moose wanders through the neighborhood on its quest for dinner. Take a walk around the peaceful area and spot a fox or squirrel and enjoy the brisk mountain air.
Cedar Rest is a NON SMOKING cabin. Pets are welcome with a $30.00 Fee. Two Maximum, pets are not allowed alone in the cabin. We are under county ordinances for short term rentals and ask that our guests please stay in compliance for their safety and health; we ask that you stay within capacity limits, read and comply with the burn and no fireworks ordinance and please be neighborly.
