Great location

This property was comfortable and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. If you are in town to visit your kid I recommend.

Great experience and location.

Stayed for Bama move-in with our daughter. Very spacious comfortable and clean, along with period design and a great location.

Great place and perfect location. Very clear directions and they made it easy on us. Even provided snacks for us. Parking can be a little tricky in the evenings but that didn’t stop my 4 year old from saying the place was “beautiful”.

Downtown Fun

What a great location to all the fun downtown! Such a cool place inside too! It was cozy and made you feel like you were taking a step back into the Gatsby era. We would absolutely stay here again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Upscale Downtown Apartment

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is a great location downtown! Shopping and Restaurants right out the front door. They were great to communicate with by text about arrival or departure or anything we needed. They had a cute snack basket and the kitchen had all the dishes/appliances we needed. We will definitely stay here again. The ONLY downside is downtown parking can be a little bit of a walk but we were always able to find a spot within a block or two. Weekday 8-5 is 2 hr parking but we were busy around Tuscaloosa so didn’t matter to us. Weekends are busier but when you find something you don’t have to move until you’re ready and so much to walk to right there if really wasn’t an issue either. I hate to recommend bc it might be booked next time I visit Tuscaloosa but this is a great rental!!

Great Gatsby!

This property was so fun to stay in! The decor and amenities were exactly as listed and pictured, and we loved having the outdoor space to use in the mornings and evenings. Property management was friendly, kind, and prompt — we highly recommend!!

Spectacular entertaining space - Roll Tide

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We planned to rent The Gatsby for our family to celebrate graduation together. The space was fabulous, the location sublime but the bedrooms/sleep arrangements were lacking. Frankly you can sleep a maximum of 5 people not the advertised 8. Sleeping on sofa's would be fine for children but not adults who have longer legs. We had two king bedrooms - one without a window so kept the door open - but fabulously comfortable. Only one futon at the property so my son slept there and we arranged for the rest of our party to sleep elsewhere. Great for 5 people, wonderful and as mentioned location and parking was perfect. Thank you for being very responsive and easy to deal with. Next upgrade would be the ceiling tiles but Really enjoyed our stay.

Cool spot in the heart of downtown Tuscaloosa

Stayed with my family and the place was fantastic. It is a second floor walk up so be aware stairs are required. Parking is a bit of a hassle but most days we didn't have any issues and the public lot is a very short walk. Place was well equipped and themed in a fun way. Easy drive to campus the strip.

Weekend in T town

Very unique with lots of character. Small bedrooms, but great for a short stay. Very convenient. Parking was tough at times with so many people in town but we were made aware of that in advance. I recommend!

Good location

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms are pretty small. The rules felt a little excessive to our group and silly. It made me uncomfortable that it was required to send a photo of my drivers license and a picture of myself. We didn’t need to contact the property manager during our stay.

I'm sorry that you do not like rules. The City of Tuscaloosa requires a LOT of rules for short term rentals that we must apply to all properties. This is because it is a university town with lots of events that can create issues. These are not all rules we created. It is extremely rare that we have any issues with guests, because most everyone that stays is a rules-follower. However, as is true with most rules, these rules were created for those that prefer not to be told what to do, and that don't want to follow rules. Requiring a photo during booking is required as well to prevent fraud. You left the property in excellent condition, and we appreciate that. Come back again soon.

Perfect downtown location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property for our daughter’s sorority parents weekend. We could easily walk to all the restaurants and bars in the downtown area. There’s plenty of room to spread out so you don’t feel crowded like most hotel rooms. I was a little concerned we might have noise from nearby businesses but not at all. The only negative is you have to climb quite a few stairs to get in the unit but that wasn’t an issue for us. Also, we were lucky enough to find parking close by since it was a weekend. During the week, you would need to park in parking garage a block away. Overall, we loved the convenience, amenities and uniqueness of the property plus the ease of booking and communication. Highly recommend!
