You can expect total relaxation for less in this 2,100 square foot 'Deer Cottage' with central heating and air conditioning, Pool table, Air Hockey table, WiFi, and everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Maple wood floors on all three levels, plus beautiful tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. This elegant home features 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths plus two decks with panoramic views. The level entry to the Deer Cottage leads to an inviting living room with a 100% top leather grain couch to enjoy the large flat screen HD Television and a large, brick fireplace.

The first level includes a large modern kitchen with granite countertops. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities to help enjoy your stay or entertain your guest. It also contains the pool table, dining room, and living room. The second level leads to the master bedroom with full bath and two bedrooms, full bathroom. Linen, towels, and blankets are furnished for your stay. The third level is equipped with a game room that has an air hockey/pool/ping pong table plus a utility room with a washer & dryer.

The top deck is equipped with a propane gas BBQ and a table to help enjoy the beautiful view. This home includes a large LCD flat screen in the living room and 3 TV's in the bedrooms, VCR's, DVD's, Netflix, a very desirable central air conditioning, 2 Queen, 1 Full, 1Twin size pullout trundle bed and 1 Twin size rollout foldable bed. This home has a level parking deck for two cars plus additional street parking for one more car.

The Deer Cottage overlooks beautiful green mountains and Lake Gregory. Lake Gregory is located in the Lake Gregory Regional Park which is an alpine jewel, nestled in the pine forest of Crestline. Here you can fish from the shore year-round, picnic, swim, hike, and boat in the San Bernardino Mountains.

In addition, the park contains water slides at the west end of the lake and a walking trail that circles the entire lake for great nature walks and exercise. The south shore of the lake is a popular fishing destination.

The Deer Cottage is close to everything that Crestline has to offer including a bowling alley, antique shops, coffee shops, restaurants, and book stores. At the Deer Cottage you will make wonderful memories that will last a life time.

Wonderful stay

Enjoyed our stay and communications with the host was easy with quick responses. The hike to the Heart Rock is well worth it. Wonderful area.

Lovely rainy mountain weekend

We enjoyed this home! Our group of adult women appreciated the large kitchen and dining table for playing games. The view across the hills was just lovely. The owner was easy to communicate with. Definitely will consider this property for future stays!

Wonderful Place to Stay!

We all (7 of us) had a great time here. The home was clean, cute & situated perfectly to see the lake. The owners were responsive to any questions we had (only had one). Plenty of room for all of us - 2 adults (70's), 1 adult (50's), 1 adult (40's) and 3 grandchildren (10-16). Fishing was slow at first but catching the limit towards the end of our stay (13 days) including catfish & trout. Kids loved swimming at the Swim Beach too!! All in all we had a wonderful time here and plan to go back.

Great House

The house was a great place to be at. It had all the ammenities one would need. I have three children, ranging in age from 4 years to 14 and they all seemed content with our mini vacation. They absolutely loved having multiple t.v.'s, so there was no fighting as to what show to watch. My older boys enjoyed playing pool and my 4 year old enjoyed watching shows on the netflix system. Overall, everyone in the family had a great time and we can't wait to come back. Thanks Bernice and Dan for making the rental transition a smooth one.

Deer Cottage Experience

I found a gem in Crestline. I was so comfortable during our long-weekend stay with family. The cottage was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. The kids were entertained in the game room, and the adults enjoyed some pool. We walked around Lake Gregory with the kids to busy ourselves in the afternoon, then enjoyed a cozy fire in the evenings. The kitchen was spacious and the view was great from the balcony. Bernice was very delightful and helpful in addressing any and all of our needs. I would, however, recommend Deer Cottage for parties of six or less unless you bring an air mattress for additional persons. I do hope to return sooner rather than later, perhaps, an annual get-away.

The process of renting couldn't be easier! This place was a lovely little hideaway with fantastic views from the balcony and kitchen. Very neat and clean, with newer bath towels, which we appreciated! All in all, a great place to stay!

Perfect little getaway

We needed this. Secluded, beautiful views, treetop sights & sounds, and all the fresh mountain vibes. Highly recommend watching the sun come up from the top deck. Close to Lk.Arrowhead Village. The owner, Bernice, is very kind and accommodating.

Vacation 2021

We were very happy with this home. Everything we needed was there: appliances, toilet paper, dish soap, grill, etc. I think the only downsides were that there wasn't any chairs for the deck off the master bedroom and the stairs. Our grandson thought the stairs were awesome, but I did not. But, that's because I'm not used to stairs in my daily activities, not because I was unaware of them. The owners were very prompt with replies to our questions and were helpful with suggestions for local activities. It was our first time in the area, so the drive up was a little intimidating. We had a lot of fun in the area. There are some excellent restaurants, the beach, and hiking. The local people at the chamber of commerce and stores were extremely helpful and friendly.

The property is located in a beautiful area. From the balcony you can see a small part of lake Gregory. The kitchen appliances, rugs, beds and couches are all old and rusty. The master bedroom’s bed is a full size bed ( very small for 2 people) and the sheets had holes. The Bbq grill didn’t work ( I had a lot of meat to BBQ) so then I turned to the oven. The oven failed us too so ended up using the stove top which wasn't ideal to cook our food. In general, it’s a nice place but needs a lot of updating. The owner communication is quick. She responds to questions almost right away. I was disappointed that she didn’t offer a discount with all the problems we had specially regarding the cooking appliances.

We got lucky that a storm came in and while we were there we had fresh powder for 2 full days. The views are awesome and it was very spacious. Recommend it!

Great Cabin!

This beautiful cabin was great for our girl’s trip! View from the patio was amazing and the pool table was fun! Beds were comfortable and House was very clean!

Fun weekend with the grandkids!

Enjoyed a very spacious 3 level cabin with our three preteen grandkids. Very memorable and fun, lots to do, read, pool table, played games, watched movies, etc.. Nearby SkyPark was the big hit and is highly recommended. Close to lake and hiking areas.

Good Stay

We arrived for check in to find that we had no electricity. Bernice and Dan were very prompt in responding to the problem, which turned out to be an area-wide power outage and power was restored in about an hour, including the A/C! Nice views, though you cannot see all that much of the lake itself. Overall clean, though towels were left in the washer needing to be dried and there were some dirty countertops. (A relative of the cleaning lady stopped by upon our arrival to let us know that she had had to leave early due to an emergency.) Overall a nice location, close to town, and pool and ping pong were a definite plus, since our family was there during a heat wave and could not get out to enjoy the outdoors nearly as much as we would have liked to. Highly recommend Lake Gregory Escape (an escape room within a mile of the property) and The Grill at Antler's Inn in Twin Peaks (where my fiance and I had a delicious meal for date night). The food in Crestline is not all that recommendable, but my guess is that the surrounding area, including Lake Arrowhead, probably has some better options.

Stay at the cabin

Our stay at the Deer cabin was wonderful.. the kids enjoyed themselves and so did we. The house was cozy and homey which made our stay comfortable. Thank you again Bernice for letting us spend our first family vacation at your cabin.

Beautiful home and location

My family and I really enjoyed this home. It is fully stocked, the game room and pool table are such a fun touch and the view off the deck is gorgeous! Bernice and Dan we’re both very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to any need we had. Highly recommend!!
