Our Unit is completely renovated and right outside the pool, lagoon, playground, and community grill located at the heart of Key Largo MM 100 in a gated community (Kawama Yacht Club) with 24 hr security.

Kawama is a 24-acre complex surrounded by three sides byJohn Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, known for some of the best Scuba diving and snorkeling in all the keys.

The property amenities include a saltwater lagoon with a small sandy beach and two heated swimming pools.

The property has an onsite marina with a boat ramp that gives guests ocean access via a deep water channel to some of the area's best fishing, snorkeling, diving, and sandbars. Other amenities include boat trailer parking, playground, outdoor bbq areas, and tennis courts.

Guest can fish, kayak, or snorkel the Ocean via our rock jetty. 2 kayaks with life vests and paddles available to guests

The modern unit decor enhances the comfort of this two-bedroom and two-bath condominium.

Boating: If you plan to bring your private vessel, you will need to have $300,000 Liability Insurance and show proof upon entrance to the security guard.

The boat ramp is free of charge, and trailer parking is first come basis. Trailers up to 2 axles only.

Kawama requires $300,000 liability insurance for your boat, motor and trailer whether coming by water or land. They will turn you away if you do not provide this to the front gate.

JET SKI"S - Must also have $300,000 liability insurance.

The townhouse was clean and beautifully furnished. The pool was right out our back door which makes it so nice. And very much enjoyed the screened porch in the back. There were tropical fish and saw a very large lobster in the lagoon which was fun. It was great to have the golf cart to ride down to the ocean beach areas. Friendly and safe complex, nice that it was gated. Close to plenty of restaurants and John pennekamp. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Weekend Getaway

Cute condo that has been recently renovated, and just a golf cart drive to the beach and tiki huts. Lots to do so you donā€™t have to leave the property and about 10 minutes away from food, shopping, and snorkeling. Nice view of the pool. Great host with the easiest check out I have ever had! We will return!

Awesome place to stay

Andy was a great host, very accommodating, responsive and helpfull.The place was as described, beautiful, and clean. We loved the pool and lagoon just outside our door and its so close to everything. We loved it and would highly recommend staying here. We are looking forward to coming back again.

It is a great property though rhe approach looks a little worn, don't be fooled. Very pleasant and comfortable condo, well equipped. The host was extremely responsive and the property is fun and lovely.

Weekend in Key Largo

We attended a family wedding at Key Lighthouse (half mile from this venue) and we were pleasantly surprised by our accommodations. The host was very responses to the two questions we asked and the setting was clean, beautiful and very family friendly. Everyone staying at this setting was friendly. Swimming options great, kayaks - wonderful. Kitchen well equipped. We were the envy of other family members located in different parts of town.

I would recommend this place. The owner was easy to work with.

The host was very easy to work with and responded quickly. We were supposed to fly into Miami the morning Hurricane Milton made land fall so our trip was cancelled. Based on the weather circumstances the owner worked with us and refunded our payment. We are in the process of re-planning our trip and will stay here in the future!

Wonderful spot!

The Kawama community exceeded all expectations for both kids, adults and grandparents. The house was well appointed and communication with the owner was easy. The lagoon was super fun salt water swimming for the kids. Really fun to have snorkeling right outside our door. With the cabana and pool nearby, the location is ideal. We even had manatees in the harbor one day! Highly recommend for your Florida Keys adventure.

We had such a lovely time at Kawama. Our unit was located by one of the pools and just down from the lagoon. Everyone had something to do and kept themselves busy either swimming , Kayaking, paddle boarding , sunning. Having access to the golf cart was perfection, thank you . We most certainly will be back.

Exceptional location and great property

Family of 5, 3 kids. We had an amazing time at this property. The location is absolutely perfect, with a lagoon filled with tropical fish just footsteps away. Just a short distance to the ocean for amazing views and relaxation. We used the fire pits every night for sā€™mores to make great memories. The house was amazingly clean, and extremely well stocked with all the essentials to cook and clean, laundry etc. bedrooms were great, and the pullout couch was just fine too! I very much recommend this property, definitely superior to others in the local area.

Perfect Family Vacation

We just loved our stay at this unit! It's clean and cutely decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Kawama is great! We enjoyed walks around the lagoon and hanging out in the chairs under the tiki huts. The golf cart was an added bonus. There were also kayaks, but we didn't get a chance to use them. We appreciated the timely correspondence with the owner when we had questions. I highly recommend this unit. We hope to visit again.

Just bring your swimsuit

Great spot for a casual getaway. Space for everyone to spread out and relax. Fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances needed to save some money and eat in. Communication was prompt, cleanliness was spot on and other patrons were friendly and respectful. The unit reflects older times on the outside, but the interior is completely renovated and nicely appointed. This unit is directly next to the pool, but noise was never an issue, and hours of operation are respected. Lovely beach area. Enjoyed the kayaks too! Loved the natural light the Florida sunshine brings in, but if I had to make 1 suggestion it would be for darker window covering in the main bedroom to keep from waking with the morning sun. Really appreciated the complimentary Prosecco upon arrival and was overjoyed with the ease of checkout! Overall, would highly recommend!!

Great Place to Stay in Key Largo

We stayed for 4 days. Property is in a great location, close to many bars, restaurants, shops, grocery store, tours, etc. Snorkeled and fished, with both tours within a 10 minute drive. There are other tours even closer. We used the kayaks that come with the property. A great kayak trail through the mangrove swamps. Lagoon is a nice plus, with many fish. Condo is as advertised. Perfect for 4-6 people. Owner was extremely responsive and provided helpful advice on area. Check in was a breeze. We would stay again.
