Southern Comfort Cabin- minutes from the river and the lake!

This is the destination you've been looking for in Arkansas. Our place is located within minutes of some of our areas main attractions. The Little Missouri River is a quick two miles from here where you can begin a fun filled day of trout fishing. If boating is on your days agenda we are moments from beautiful Lake Greeson. Perhaps digging for diamonds is on your bucket list. We are moments from the Crater of Diamonds as well. It's truly a great central location to do all of this and more.

We have everything you need to stay a while and enjoy all of the beautiful nature that abounds here in Murfreesboro. Our cabin is situated on a three acre tract overlooking a pond. The cabin sleeps six comfortably. We have a full kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom, and comfy living room with flat screen tv, DVD player, and Direct TV. After a full day of fun you can come to your home away from home and grill out on one of our grills (charcoal &/gas), build a fire in the fire pit & watch our ducks on the pond & the fireflies buzz about. Come visit. You'll be glad you did.

This is our second year staying! This year we rented both cabins. We come up yearly to hunt and enjoy staying at this place! It’s close to town but out far enough for privacy! It’s perfect for what we need!

Great, cozy location for you to explore around the state parks. Love the place and will be back. Things to consider: Would be nice to have a washer even if it was a portable washer. The state parks can definitely get you muddy. Also a box fan is a great idea for others who desire the noise to sleep since you don’t have ceiling fans.

We enjoyed the cabin. It was cozy and clean. We found the sifting screens and buckets in the car port as we were leaving though. It would have been good to know they were available before we rented them at the crater of diamonds but we had fun.

Lake Greeson Fishing

The wife and I booked this place to enjoy some time fishing Lake Greeson. Will be coming back hopefully soon - enjoyed our stay and was very impressed with how clean the cabin was and the communication from Mason was outstanding.

Short stay

It was clean and well kept. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was very quiet. Nice property. Couch was very comfortable. Thin walls with loud neighbors. Grill needs upgrade. Overall not too bad.

Diamond and Crystal hunting trip

Everything was as listed. No complaints. Good location. Take time to go see the river if it isn’t on you to do list. Not far from the cabin.

Diamond adventure

Property was just as advertised, very clean and orderly. We had a great stay. We loved the fact that it was out of town and country, firepit , bar-b-Q. It was perfect for our family. If we are ever in that vicinity again we will for sure like to stay there. 5 stars all the way Loved it

Actually a garage made into a duplex

The “cabin” is actually what seems like a boat and RV storage unit made into a duplex. The space is as shown in pictures, but the pictures don’t show that it’s a duplex. Also, you share the washer and dryer with the other unit and it’s located in a closet under the carport. I had hoped to wash some clothes and swim towels. I opened the closet and it smelled so badly of mildew with obvious water damage as the rain can easily leak in. The washer had spider webs in it and I was not about to use either washer or dryer.

We loved everything about this place. And host was very helpful and communicative. Only thing I’d change is a softer mattress for queen bed.

Perfect and out of the way.

We loved the space. Rustic but cleanly. Close to crater of diamond and town but far enough away that it felt like the country. Plus it was super close to a great little swimming/fishing hole.

Was a great getaway, and everything we were looking for! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Would stay again. Nice, quiet cabin in the woods feel and not far from a neet little downtown area of little shops and antiques. If you need a slow down, this is your place, and if you're curious about mining for crystals, diamonds, quartz, there is tons of options!

Cozy Cabin

Driving up to the property, we were not sure what to expect. From the outside, the property definitely looked different than the pictures we had looked at online. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to this cabin. The living room was spacious with comfortable furniture. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The kids were thrilled to have their own room with a TV. The queen bed in our room was not the most comfortable, but we have already spoken with the owner about this for future guests. Anytime we had to communicate with the owner, she was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We did appreciate that she had supplies handy to use at the Crater of Diamonds, and also her delicious restaurant recommendations. The location was close to local attractions and restaurants. Definitely a little off the beaten path, but if you follow the precise directions given by the owner, you will find it. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our time in Murfreesboro!

Murfreesboro is a very nice town, very quiet and friendly people. Diamond hunting is the big attraction for this area and it was a fun experience.

Comfortable Cabin Close to Town

The cozy cabin is exactly as described…located in quiet area (occasionally hear traffic on main road) yet short drive to town. Kitchen is adequately supplied with utensils and dishes. Karen lives close by and is literally only a text or phone call away! She is quick to respond and very friendly! We would stay again if in the area!

Perfectly Peaceful

The directions were really detailed. While we could not attach to internet, we never notified property owner as we were there to detach. We never turned on the TV. The place was spacious and welcoming. We will likely try to go back there for our next trip down.

Great place near Crater of Diamonds

Good rustic atmosphere. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Space for the kids to explore (boys loved it). We rented both sides, which was fun for extra family. Clean and comfortable.
