Your time at Craterā€™s Edge Ranch should be your choice of a time of rest, relaxation, and FUN! You may want to relax by the electric fireplace, watch sunrises or sunsets on the screened-in back porch, or sit around the fire pit out back while listening, or telling, a favorite story with friends or family.
You may want to get into the kitchen and whip up your familyā€™s favorites where you will find a full setup of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cookstove, oven, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and many other amenities. Or you may want to get into the game room and play some foosball, air hockey, start a hot game of chess, checkers, or poker, or play games and stream your favorite TV services on the big screen! You could also go out to the backyard and get a game of cornhole going with friends or family.

Weā€™ve stayed in many VRBOs over the years with our family and parents, but this one was by far our favorite. Everything about the home was perfectā€”beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable. I only wish we had stayed longer.This trip was especially meaningful for us. My mom is currently battling cancer, and having a place where we could truly relax, enjoy each otherā€™s company, and still be close enough to check in on things made all the difference. The home gave us space to breathe, laugh, and make memories together. We are so grateful for the care and thought that went into creating such a welcoming space to celebrate my daughterā€™s 20th birthday. Thank you for giving us a place that felt like home. We will absolutely be back.

House was fantastic!! We did not meet one single grumpy person in the entire town. It was HOT!! We will probably return in the fall or spring but never again in July!! Kids loved the house.

Paradise in Arkansas

We loved our stay! Perfect for our little dog to visit the backyard. Cows were so calming. Pictures didnā€™t do it justice and you donā€™t often say that about a rental. Special attention was paid to decor and making it easy to be there with a houseful! Loved it!

Perfect Girls Mining trip

We absolutely loved our stay! The owners truly thought of everything. The location was perfect. The cows were very entertaining and we loved the dogs from across the street. We were able to enjoy the night sky by the fire. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Family/dog friendly place

Our stay was just what our family of 5 and two pups needed! We had an absolute blast exploring the area, mining for diamonds and crystals, and dining at the local resturants. If we are in this area again, definitely going to be booking this place! Highly recommend!

Great Location

This was a great location, very close to Crater of Diamonds, and well appointed with everything we needed - plenty of dishes, towels, pillows etc. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. The outdoor space is nice and everything was very clean! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect vacation rental!

This house really lives up to the hype from other reviews. We were 2 families, each with 2 adults and a teen. The house was gorgeous and spotless upon arrival. The decor is rustic but the house is very modern and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for the humans and the 2 dogs. The backyard is huge and fenced well so there were no concerns of the dogs getting out. The firepit is gorgeous and so is the view. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The owners were super-responsive, although we never needed them during our stay because everything in the house was amazing. I couldn't come up with a complaint about this house if I tried.

Very peaceful and comfy

The house was great to stay in with family. The outdoor space was amazing. Very peaceful location but close to everything around. Dug for diamonds, played laser tag in town, and played lots of games at the house. A very memorable stay.

Visiting Diamond National Park

Our house was the closest house to the park, but still in the country. The house looked brand new on the inside. Game room was a hit with the grandkids! Easily sleeps 8, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, screened porch and outside covered large patio! The field out back frequently had deer in the evening. The county is a dry county and it is 2 towns away, over 30 miles to pick up a 6 Pk of beer. Grocery is 23 miles NW of Murfreesboro!! Had a wonderful vacation!!

Relaxation at its Finest

We've just returned home from a wonderful trip to Arkansas and Missouri. We'd like to thank Wayne and JackLynn for providing a space that felt like a home away from home. The house is located so close to Diamond Crater State Park that one could literally walk there (if you weren't carrying mining gear)! We were hoping to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit, but due to a late arrival and rain the following evening, it didn't quite work out. However, the firepit is located in a beautiful spot with firewood included. The extra welcome basket treats along with coffee included was a nice treat after a long drive. Each of us were happy to have our own space for sleeping and gave everyone room to do something they'd like to do. The game room is a great area for families, and the foosball table was fun to use, as well. I would highly recommend staying here and guarantee you won't regret it. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Beautiful, Clean, Fantastic Place to Relax!!

Craterā€™s Edge Ranch is a beautiful, well-appointed home with many personal touches. While the home is located less than a mile from the Crater of Diamonds State Park (definitely try finding diamonds - super fun!), I would definitely recommend a stay here just to get away and relax! The house is meticulously clean, the kitchen is absolutely gorgeous, and the owners have gone to great lengths to create a wonderfully relaxing experience. From the thoughtful selection of coffees and teas to go with the Keurig, the basket of soft blankets in the family room, the paper towel rolls in the bathrooms (absolutely genius idea!), to the screened back porch where you can take in the serene view while enjoying morning coffee - our stay at Craterā€™s Edge is the most relaxing vacation Iā€™ve had in years. Thereā€™s also plenty to keep the kids entertained with the game room! We will definitely return as soon as possible!

Diamond hunting fun

This home was AMAZING! It is very comfortable and well appointed. The ranch decor and setting makes for great fun. The home was easily accessed and with many smart home features, simple to enjoy. Very close to the diamond mine.

As advertised, a home away from home

The perfect base of operations for diamond hunting with kids at the Crater of Diamonds state park which is just a minute down the road. So convenient that we came back for lunch every day. Wayne was very responsive. Everything was clean and fully stocked in terms of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, paper towels, garbage bags, dish detergent and laundry detergent. My 9 year old son declared the guest room bed "the comfiest." My master bed wasn't bad either, which is important after whole days of crouching and digging. We cooked, did laundry, and used the game room extensively. Would definitely stay again. Sadly, we didn't find any diamonds so we may very well need to return.

Home away from home.

This was an absolute peach of a home. The first words out of my Granddaughter mouth when she went inside was: I could stay here forever." The home was comfortable, inviting, plus there was a game room, outdoor fire pit where we roasted hot dogs and made smores. The beds were a dream to sleep on.... I've got to get me one of those. The Crater of Diamond was literally just down the road. It is a quiet little town, but if that is what you are looking for this place is for you. Lake Greeson was wonderful to take the family swimming and then return to rest and recharge the batteries, or just have a quiet night or day just enjoying the property. I recommend this property to anyone. I would love to stay here again.
