Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort is yours to explore and enjoy at this two-bedroom, two-story townhome, beautifully situated at the edge of a lagoon. This waterfront home comes with a screened porch overlooking the lake, and access to amazing amenities throughout the resort.

Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort is a 2,400-acre resort stretching from the bay to the beach. It offers fantastic options for dining, shopping, entertainment, and activities with three public golf courses, 15 tennis courts, a 113-slip marina, two spas, miles of bike trails, and access to beautiful sugar-white sand and the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Village of Baytowne Wharf has dining, shopping, and entertainment for the entire family, including 16 retail shops, 20 restaurants and night clubs, and 11 entertainment experiences, from Blast Arcade to Baytowne Adventure Zone. At the Baytowne Marina, you can reserve a fishing charter, book a dinner cruise on the 125-foot Solaris yacht, rent a pontoon boat to spend the day at Crab Island, or simply enjoy the outdoors with YOLO boards, kayaks, and wave runners.

After a day of lounging on the beach or relaxing at one of the two swimming pools, you can head home to relax with a cold drink on the screened patio. Or, head inside to unwind in central air and fix a few appetizers in the well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The rest of the main floor includes an open dining room, a living room with a TV, and views of the lagoon outside. The two bedroom suites await upstairs - each with its own TV and bathroom, and one with a private sunroom that's wonderful for morning coffee and crosswords.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Mixed Experience – Beautiful Area, But Disappointed by Golf Cart and CommunicationThe location and overall property were nice, and the lake area is beautiful and peaceful. The listing is mostly accurate—the home looks like the photos, and we enjoyed the quiet surroundings.However, the golf cart was a major letdown. It was in terrible condition—old, worn down, and not functioning. See photos for reference. Someone did come out and told us it needed a new charge, said they’d try to get one and return, but never came back. Unfortunately, the property is managed by Vacasa, which made it nearly impossible to reach anyone local for real help. This was really frustrating, especially for our two kids who were excited about the golf cart and ended up very disappointed.Other notes: one of the upstairs TVs didn’t work at all, and the washer/dryer is extremely small—barely fits 3-4 towels, so keep that in mind. Parts of the townhome have been updated nicely, but others are dated and could use some attention.Overall, we made the most of our stay and loved the lake, but the broken golf cart and lack of communication definitely put a damper on the trip. We were able to finally get a small refund for the golf cart, but that didn’t change not having access to one during our trip.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed the location and it made it very easy to walk the dog and access all of the resort amenities. Golf cart worked great and was a real plus. We had an issue with the TV’s but it was resolved after 2 days. Would stay here again if visiting SanDestin.

Our stay

I wasn't going to write this review but i have too. My wife and I stayed here 2 weeks ago when you walk in you do have a strong odor of cat pee in the front area but with some spray and the doors open it eventually went away. the rooms upstairs were nice. let's talk about the golf cart. First night we got stranded because the lights didn't work so we had to leave the cart overnight and get a uber back. My wife didn't like that at all. Called that night and the next morning and many times that day. Nice gentleman came over and tried to fix it but he couldn't but confirmed with me another cart would be delivered before that night. many texts back and forth it wasn't. Suggestion to the owners make sure the cart works properly before you rent your place i would have stayed somewhere else. You think I'm done I'm NOT. That Saturday i hear a lady screaming her head off because a dog (not on a leash) was jumping and scratching her. I went out help and the dog bit and scratched me. A jogger helped me by securing the dog. I had to go in and left them outside. I'm a dog lover but this was pretty bad it could have been a lot worse if we didn't help that lady.

Priced fairly

This unit needs updating and a little more maintenance, but it was a good unit for the price. The response from the maintenance staff, especially Ray, was excellent. When we return, we will be willing to pay a little more for a unit that is more updated.

Wonderful week

The townhouse was very nice and the location is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only problem we had all week was the golf cart (which is the reason we picked this townhome). We were able to bring our furry friends and really appreciated being able to do that.

It's Baytown, what's not to love

We're neither Vicky nor hard to please but it's a very nice condo. You park right out front and walk right in, no hassles to deal with. We stay again no question.

Nice place! We would stay here again!

I am leaving a detailed review because there was only one review before we stayed and all it was like two stars and all it said was “would not stay here again”. This review came after we booked, so we were very nervous about coming to this place. I hate when people don’t explain the reason for their review because it really left us in the dark. Fortunately, we could not figure out how this place got a bad review. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, it had a scenic view of the pond, everything worked great, it was in a great location, all the pictures were accurate, it had good air conditioning (these are all things we have had trouble with in the past and we usually stay around seaside). I was even very impressed with the service. We had an issue with a battery on the golf cart midstay, and they fixed it the same day and had it back up and running by that evening. The only thing I can think of to say negative is the code lock on the front door is pretty sensitive and its tough to get to work if you don’t time it just right, and the code was really long so that was kind of a pain, but it just meant having to look it up and punch it in a few times, so not a big deal for us. Also, the outdoor area upstairs is a little warm, i guess if the weather is nice, you can open windows, but it does not have a/c unless u leave door open i guess. But other than that, we thought everything else was great and as described. We enjoyed our stay and we would stay there again. And this is from a family of four, two boys 9 and 11, who have been to this area for vacations several times. Hope this helps.
