Just renovated in warm coastal style! Our villa at 5190 Beach Walk is located near the beach, the Beachwalk swimming pool, and directly on Horseshoe Lake for catch and release fishing right outside the back door. It is convenient to the Beachwalk swimming pool - just a few steps away. Hop on the complimentary tram or take the golf cart to the Baytowne Wharf or sugar white beach. Getting around the resort is a breeze!

Our fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops makes it a pleasure to prepare and serve family meals. The stylish dining area offers seating for six guests with additional bar seating for four. With cushy seating and an HDTV, the family room is comfortable and inviting! There is even a sleeper sofa for unexpected guests. Take time to relax and enjoy a remarkable lake view from the back patio. For the chef in the group. there is also a propane grill on the patio along with brand new outdoor seating.

The master bedroom suite's bed offers a brand new king mattress with fresh linens, HDTV, generous closet space and a lovely lake view from the picture window. The master bathroom is designed with a double vanity and a bathtub-shower combination. The guest bedroom features a brand new king bed and mattress, HGTV and ample closet space. The adjoining guest bathroom offers a bathtub-shower combination. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer combination upstairs, and wifi is complimentary.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

Family vacation

Nice location to beach and pool. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by that you can walk or take golf cart. Overall would book again.

Great Location

Overall the stay was great. It was off the beach so it wasn’t as busy but it was a short ride in the golf cart to get to the beach. My family and I loved it especially my 4 year old.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing stay. Great location, well furnished and decorated, clean, and just minutes from the beach. Lovely backyard space as well. Only thing I'd recommend is a bigger golf cart, and it would be nice if beach chairs were provided. Those are just small things though, everything was great!

Convenient

We enjoyed the convenience of this location along with the view from the back of the rental. The added golf cart was a plus! The downstairs area had a good set up. Upstairs shows two twin beds in one room and a queen in the second room in the pictures. However one room had a queen and the second room a king bed.

The townhouse location and view is awesome. The furniture was comfortable and relaxing. The only negative was the golf cart needs replacing. It is not dependable and the battery would lose power in short period of time. If you don’t need a golf cart I would highly recommend this unit.

The location was great and the golf cart is definitely a need if you’re not directly on the beach. The rental was not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival, as well as roaches living underneath the staircase. Management was contacted and offered to clean again and spray.

Summer School in Sandestin

Overall Nice Unit

The unit itself is very nice. It was clean and as described in the listing. We checked in about 45 minutes after the check-in allowable time and received a surprised visit from the cleaning inspector. It wasn’t a big deal at all as she was very friendly and apologized for interrupting our stay. The golf cart was nice to have to get around the property. It could use a good detailing and a new key chain for the keys. A few throw blankets could also be added. The washer and dryer worked perfectly as well as all the kitchen appliances.

Many problems/ repairs needed

The Property was in a nice location easy to the pool the golf cart made it easy to go to the beach and surrounding areas within the community. The golf cart would only go 11 miles an hour which made it tough because all the other golf carts and cars we’re having to constantly go around us. We started experiencing a leak in the ceiling on day two or three in which we did call maintenance , Maintenance came out andthey said it had been an ongoing problem

Pictures were deceving

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was not clean at all. I had to literally go through and clean almost everything in here. When you go on vacation you don't go to clean the place you are staying in. The outside grill was so nasty, but they did replace it. I understand this is an older place, but that doesn't mean you can't take care of it.

Overall decent stay, had a few issues.

Property is good, could use a little updating. Golf cart gave us problems but eventually starting working correctly. King bed upstairs broke but we were able to fix it, the slats under the box spring have some pegs that slid out and almost broke the slats when we were going to bed. We had to remove the mattress and box springs and reinsert the pegs which look to have been broken for a while. Parking can be an issue also, every day we were fighting for our spots. Other than that everything was fine. Want to give an honest review.

Great setup, few areas to improve

The property was just as advertised and worked great for our family. All of the appliances were in working condition. Hot water, cold AC, gas for grill. Original Golf cart wasnt working so they had a replacement being delivered just as we arrived. Very helpful cart person toothed! The replacement was a bit worse for wear but given the alternative happy to have one made available. We had all the basics we needed to cook dinners in. The floorplan and setup gave us the space we needed to invite other family over for dinner. Few things that needs improvement Dusting - blinds, stairs, under beds. There were cobwebs in master window, lots of dust under bed, and in creases of stairs Better broom and dust pan. Cureent one didn't sweep up sand, just pushed it around Grill grate badly rusted, needs to be replaced Door code expired at least 10min before checkout. We fortunately had gotten all our stuff out and went to do final trash and walk thru but couldn't get back in at 9:48am.

This is an extremely rare occurrence, and the issue has been resolved. We would also like to apologize if you were not satisfied with the cleanliness of our home. We take housekeeping very seriously and have addressed these concerns with our team. Please note that if you choose to return, we encourage our guests to notify us of any issues upon discovery so we may remedy the situation as soon as possible. Sandestin 5190 Beachwalk Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall my wife and I enjoyed the property and location for our 5 week winter rental . We however feel that their are some improvements that are necessary . Listed belowThe living room floor mat was very dirty and torn and needs replacementSome kitchen supplies were missing like scissors lemon juicer egg cup holder The golf cart window screen was brokenThe back deck walls needed painting and the deck floor was worn The BBQ although functional was rusted and required some baffle and burner replacement The patio doors were difficult to open and closeThe dryer vent was not attached to the dryer and although present was impossible to attach Front yard and street number lights were not working Windows were dirty and had condensation which appeared to be related or loss of window pain sealsFor a winter snowbird rental I felt that this unit had good value but needed work especially in the more expensive spring and summer periods when renters may not be so forgiving with the higher rents

Thank you for your detailed review! We sincerely apologize for any issues that occurred during your stay and are very sorry for any inconvenience. We love hearing from our guests and appreciate your feedback regarding areas of the home that need a little TLC. The owners agreed with many of your suggestions, and we are happy to report that the home was recently renovated and remodeled! Some recent updates include removal of popcorn ceilings, fresh paint, new light fixtures, new washer/dryer, a new luxury king mattress for the master bedroom, and a high-speed upgrade to the golfcart giving it a top speed of 18+mph. The owners have also replaced the old wood decking and installed a new bulkhead on the lakefront of the property, more than doubling the size of the backyard! We hope you accept our sincerest apologies and choose to return for a chance to experience all the wonderful upgrades made to the property.
