Beautiful Snowcreek V 2BR + Loft

This superbly appointed 2 bedroom + loft/ 3 bath is located in Snowcreek V, situated in a meadow, set against the Sherwin Mountain range, boardering Snowcreek golf course, this desirable location provided a beautiful backdrop as well as a convenient location for all summer & winter activites.

Beautifully decorated with old Kalims, luxurious custom upholstery, horn chandeliers, this unit is a classic Ralph Lauren mountain style, it combines mountain elegance with deep comfort. A south facing corner unit that receives fabulous light, offers beautiful view and is set behind a cluster of Aspen trees. There are no units above to disturb the quietude.

The living room has double height, vaulted ceilings which accentuate the open spacious feel. A large sectional sofa covered in plush ultra sued, flanked by comfortable down filled arm chairs w/ ottomans, make this room a place you want to be in. A 42' televevision, DVD, VCR, and stereo ad to the comfortable nuturing enviroment- this is home away from home.

The dining room has a large pine table, an antique Peruvian carved bench w/ cushions along with 6 dining chairs, allowing for festive gatherings. A painted sideboard can be used for serving, or just light the many candles that sit there and enjoy.

Master bedroom # 1 has a log bed, side tables and chest of drawers, that were hand crafted by a local artisan. The mattress is a luxurious pillow top, down pillows for sleeping & reading, a lofty down filled duvet- bedding by Kreiss- all add to the great comfort. Large closets, private bath with dual sinks, bath tub w/ shower. This room has a television and ceiling fan for further comfort. The second Master has a hand crved wooden headboard, Tarahumara side tables, pillow top mattress, down pillows for sleeping & reading, lofty down duvet- all bedding is Ralph Lauren Collection. Again, plenty of closet space, private bath with large shower. The stacked waher and dryer sit in hallway. The loft upstairs has 2 single bed ( can be pushed together to creat a king) all down pillows, down duvet- bedding by Ralph Lauren Collection. Bath has a tub w/ shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with GE stainless appliances, Calphalon cookware, Henckle knives, mixing bowls, baking pans, blender, Cuisinart, Cuisinart grinder/coffee maker, everything required to create a feast. dinner plates, salad plates, soup bowls, white wine, red wine, water glasses for 12 +. High swivel armchairs sit at the open counter, adding to the conviviality of the space.

We love spending time in Mammoth year round, we have made our unit comfortable for spending a few quite days, or for larger for family gatherings. If it is the great outdoor experience you are seeking, or simply relaxing with a book smelling the pines, you won't be disappointed.

Snow getaway

Great experience at a beautiful condo. The owner was very easy to communicate with the parking and location was amazing which is really hard when itā€™s snowing out in mammoth. It was well stocked with pots and pans and etc.. Very cozy. Nice fireplace would definitely stay there again. The owner was very accommodating. Thank you very much.

Peaceful Getaway

This was our 2nd time staying in this condo, and we look forward to our next visit. The location is perfect for walking dogs and/or pushing a stroller along the beautiful meadow. The condo is very spacious and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. We highly recommend staying here.

Quiet, relaxing getaway

Spacious and comfortable unit in a quiet corner of Mammoth Lakes. This very nice home in a golf course community was just what we were looking for. From morning coffee on the balcony to evening walks in the neighborhood, this was just what the doctor ordered. We were delighted with our stay.

Record Season

My family of six adults and two dogs had a fantastic stay in this spacious townhome. The beds were the most comfortable weā€™ve experienced using VRBO. In addition, the layout was perfect for gathering around to play games and eat meals. We look forward to returning in the spring.

Summer vaca

We had a great time staying in Anna's Snowcreek Condo. The condo is perfect as a home base while you are exploring the Mammoth Lakes area. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony.... and relaxing in the evening on the comfy couch. We also really appreciated how flexible Anna was in regards to our arrival being postponed by Hurricane Hillary!! Thanks again Anna for being a great host.

Furnishing were beaĆ¹tiful. Condo maintenance was lacking. Tile, grout, wood cabinets, carpet all need work. TV worked and the bed in the bedroom off the dining room was super comfortable. The unit needs a lot of work to bring it up to the standards advertised.

Great Location

This is a great property- great location in Snow Creek. The unit was so spacious with a cozy living room with a great couch and fireplace. It was stocked with everything you should need. We were surprised at the loft area with two twin beds and a full bathroom! The best part for us was the amount of land around the units for snow play. There is a golf course that was full of snow and a huge meadow behind for playing....and a few large hills which I imagine would be amazing for sledding with enough snow coverage. It was a short drive to the village and ski areas- we caught the red line shuttle bus up to main lodge, or you can park in the village and take the gondola (free) up to Canyon Lodge ski area. We were never able to connect to Wifi which was a bit of an issue, but the owner was easy to reach and she did try to help- just one of those things. We had a great time and the condo was very clean and comfortable!

Lots of dog hair!

This property was extremely unclean. There was dog hair all over our clothes and socks when we sat on the furniture and walked in the floor. The fireplace did not work when we arrived, and we could not use the wifi. The TV did not work, and the last night of our stay we were able to get one channel. The property manager did not even know that we were checking in, and when we had problems with the key never responded until the next day. We were very graciously offered a refund, which we were never given.

A wonderful time in Mammoth...

We had a lovely stay in this property. My rating for check-in is a bit low, because an apparent mix-up led to the the property not being cleaned and ready for us on arrival. The owner responded to my call immediately, and a cleaning crew of four or five people arrived right away, and they were able to clean the unit in a relatively short period of time to allow us to check in. Aside from that minor introductory problem, we had a wonderful stay in this property. The home is really lovely, with a beautiful view from the upstairs balcony. Just a note to emphasize.. this unit is upstairs, which I did not realize when I rented the unit. It's a rather long flight of stairs, which was a bit hard on my bad knees (!)... but we were able to manage just fine! Being on the upper level is actually a big plus for the view and ventilation...a beautiful breeze with the windows open kept us comfortable in the summer weather. This home is spacious and and easily accommodated our small group of three people.. and the opportunity to bring my dog was a lovely plus! The location of this home is great....close to everything in Mammoth, but it so quiet and feels like you are really away from it all! I would definately rent this unit again when I return to Mammoth. Snowcreek V for my husband's birthday

The location of this property is great and parking and access were great. I was a bit disappointed in the overall appearance of this unit when we arrived. The carpet is VERY dirty in places with large frayed areas in the middle of the living space. There was a large blob of toothpaste on the wall in one of the bathrooms, and the kitchen while well stocked, only had 2 proper wine glasses (disappointing) and many things were not clean and I felt like a good amount of kitchen stuff was just thrown very haphazardly into the lower cabinets. The fireplace did not work at all for us. Another problem we had was that the large shade for the slider in the dining room was hanging irregularly when we arrived. When we attempted to straighten it it came off the track about halfway, crumpled up and we were unable to fix it so we just left it hanging diagonally for our stay(very hard for my ocd personality).To me, to walk in and see the carpet grime and long runs with the strands just unattended to, the under counter cutting board that still had dried lettuce and food on it from previous visitors, and the shades in disrepair was very disappointing. I will say, the beds are very comfortable and the condo has a great layout and the loft with bathroom is a really nice space.

Beware if you take a pet

I feel itā€™s important to warn future travelers about this rental and owner. We traveled from South Bay as a family with one teenage son and a medium dog. We go every year and have NEVER encountered a problem with any rental or owner EVER. This particular one is ok. We did notice sub par carpet and dog hair on the living room ottoman although itā€™s ā€œdog friendlyā€ so we didnā€™t really mind. We checked out and, being a responsible family, left the place pristine. In fact there was nothing for the housekeeper even to do. We didnā€™t even use all the beds . Then I get an email from the owner accusing us of leaving dog urine ā€œspotsā€(NFD) at the place and she claimed she is is ā€œfiling an insurance claimā€. We were flabbergasted. Nowhere was there dog urine and obviously we would never have left that! In addition, as I told the owner, not for ONE SECOND was our dog alone (who is a mature dog and potty trained). The accusation is enough, but to take it to be level of ā€œfiling and insurance claimā€ made me highly suspicious of what is going on especially since I paid a fee just to BRING my dog. So I went back and looked at previous reviews and found one where a renter complained about the carpet and on September 24,2023, the owner responded that she wanted to replace the carpet but ā€œhad to wait until the spring when the snow dissipates. I feel as tho we are being used for an insurance claim to get the new carpet she planned. The carpet was cheap and clearly needed replaced.

Not luxury at all, I would look elsewhere

Overall the location is great & the area is nice. The fact you can bring a pet is a plus. We planned to stay 7 days for our vacation, however, we all got sick & we believe the unit had something to do with it. Nobody was ill prior to going to mammoth. My feeling is that since the property wasn't clean when we arrived likely the previous guests were sick & we got whatever was floating around. When we checked in the unit still had food from the previous guests on the floor, dirty plates put back in the kitchen, & very few towels. In the images there are beautiful nice hand towels/bath towels, when we showed up there was only 1 set of towels in the master & all other bathrooms. The white towels that were provided were stained and gross. They definitely didn't look clean. There is a lot of nice blankets on the beds in all rooms but I can tell they have not been washed from guest to guest. I'm not even sure the sheets were changed when we arrived. The kitchen lacked supplies. We found cooking knives with broken tips, plastic spatulas that were melted from being left on the hot cooking surface of pans & not appropriate for that type of cooking. Plastic is sure to be consumed if we were to try and use them. The dining room table is very unstable & felt like it needed a handy-man to service it. There are various other items in the house in need of repair as well. Some of the lights were broken, there are small square fur covered seats with antlers as a base that are broken & the walls are patched with mismatching paint. Overall this place doesn't warrant the high price. I have stayed in many different homes in Mammoth & this one by far is lacking in cleanliness & charm. Having dirty drawers to put your clean clothing in is unacceptable. We had to keep our clothes in suitcases to keep them clean. Additionally, the closets have the owner's stuff hung up & stored inside them. This home definitely felt dirty & lived in. The other major issue we had was the poor heating system. In the master bathroom, the temperature was always 20 degrees higher than the rest of the home. The master bedroom was also very hot in comparison to the rest of the unit. We set the thermostat to 67, that made the Kitchen, dining room, family room cold, but left the master extremely hot. The master has a ceiling fan but that unit was either really fast & loud or too slow & ineffective. Overall we checked out 3 days early & went home feeling ripped off & gross. Renters beware."

I purchased my unit at Snowcreek because I love to ski, the mountain at Mammoth offers great snow, beautiful runs and picturesque views. I am able to spend time with family and friends, we gather in the mountains for winter skiing and the beautiful summers. The Eastern Sierras are truly amazing, I always try to see and explore something new every time I visit. I never leave disappointed.

The floor plan offers privacy, with two Master bedrooms located on opposite ends of the living/dining area. Our furniture layout has plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, as well as the dining room to ensure everyone can relax and gather comfortably.
