Updated beach house with private pool, hot tub, and community fitness center!

Perfectly located between Sound and Sea. Come relax in an updated beach house within walking distance to the beach with a private pool and hot tub. There is plenty of new polywood outdoor furniture around the pool area for your entire family to soak up some rays! There is a back yard for your pup and kids to run around. The new deck on the top level is perfect for entertaining and the hammock on the mid level is ideal for your mid day siesta. Community amenities include a clubhouse with fitness center, community pool, tennis courts, playground, basketball court, boat ramp, and sound access. Bring your kayaks and SUPs to enjoy the Outer Banks renowned sunsets.

The interior is tastefully decorated with upgraded furnishings such as Flexsteel leather furniture, Bidet, WiFi Enabled Samsung Family Hub Fridge, 75" Samsung Smart TV, hardwood floors, new cabinets, butcher block countertops, tile master shower and bathroom floors. It is a reverse floor plan so the kitchen and living room are on the top level. There are lots of stairs so this property is not good for anyone with mobility issues. There is also a door going out to the mid level balcony in each bedroom so keep this in mind with little ones.

The closest public beach access with parking is Bonito Street, or it's just a short 10-15 minute walk to the Perch Beach Access. The club house and all other community amentities are located across highway 12 on South Harbor Vw. Golf Cart parking is not allowed in our community.

There is a Welcome Book on site with lots of local recommendations (things to do, places to eat) but we are happy to answer any questions or offer advice so just ask if you need some guidance!

Absolutely amazing!

We had the best time here spending quality time with our close friends and our babies. The house was perfectly located—so close to the beach—and had everything we needed. It made our trip so easy and relaxing. We’re so grateful for this cozy, well-stocked space. Already wishing we could stay longer!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The furnishings were quality and it made for a more enjoyable experience. It was so nice to have the pool after hot days at the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and pretty and the location was literally perfect with a short 2 minute drive to the Bonito Drive beach access. Plenty of free beach parking a just a quick walk over the steps to the beach. Absolutely loved our stay, thank you!

Great Place to Stay

Check-in was simple. Kitchen was well-stocked. It was thoughtful to have dish soap, towels, salt and pepper, dishwasher and laundry detergent (we’ve stayed at places that didn’t have any of these items) as well as plenty of place settings. The furnishings and decorations were up to date and pleasant. The backyard was great with a swing, hammock and plenty of outdoor furniture and pool toys. The beach access was easy to find and very easy to navigate, even though it was a few blocks from the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and away from the Duck crowds. The trees in the backyard made a very nice private setting.

Very nice house with a lot to do inside and out. Nice neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed the pool and all the other amenities, which were newer than your typical rental property. We will be back!

Stunning home!! Very thoughtfully decorated and organized. We most enjoyed the private pool and spacious rooms to hang out as a family. Short drive to the beach, nearby restaurants, and shopping. Communication was excellent. Perfect place for our weekend getaway!

Excellent property!

This house was amazing! Everything you could want or need. The hosts thought of everything! Great communication with the hosts, we definitely felt like a priority! The house was very clean and comfortable, like being home away from home. Outdoor area was amazing and we spent hours hanging out on the hammocks and the hot tub. Overall a great experience and would love to stay again.

Stayed here with our kids and small dog. Owner was great about communicating. House was wonderful. It is a shirt walk to the beach, we did think it was actually on the beach but hadn't confirmed. Property was clean, kids loved the pool. Unfortunately we weren't able to use the outdoor game area because of all the spiders/bugs.

well stocked and updated house!

We loved our stay at this well stocked and beautiful house. The house truly had everything you could need including stuff for our baby (high chair, pack and play). The pool was great and a close walk to the beach. My sister mentioned the bedroom on the second floor could use lamps and black out curtains on the east side of the house and the umbrella outside was hard to figure out without it falling over but those were truly the only things that were of issue. Everything else was perfect throughout our stay!

We’ve been coming down for many years and felt your property contained a great mix of the best features of our favorite stays. You thought of every detail and the house was so much more than i expected. We are in Duck now and the house pales by comparison and makes us realize fully how amazing your house was! Dog friendly? Who would know. Thank you for the cleanliness and creature comforts! Shampoos, soaps, conditioner - lovely touches - you thought of everything! Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Great place!

Vey clean. Thought of everything- home away from home. Close access to beach via perch street path. Left out of the house. Look for it on your right about 8 houses down. They provided a wagon- beach chairs. Great communication. House pics don’t do it justice. Decks on every floor with hammock/ hanging swing, tables/ chairs. Pool table and tv on first floor patio space. Lots of great outdoor space. Two person swing was my favorite spot of the house. Outdoor shower. Everything you need in the kitchen to cook meals. Lots of stairs in the house. Fine for us but if u have little ones or elderly/ keep that in mind. Great location. Was perfect for our family!

OBXellent vacation!

Of all the rental properties I have stayed at, this was one of the best, and made for a great homebase for the most enjoyable vacations we've had. Melissa was wonderful to communicate with, her family's home was beyond comfortable, the amenities were plentiful (she thought of everything and more!), and the location was perfect. We used the bike path just across the street from the development entrance every day to take a long walk or bike ride; the clubhouse was also just across the street and provided a place to put our kayaks into the water easily; the shopping (Food Lion, etc) area was easily accessible but not too close; the beach (note: bring your own beach towels) was a short walk, either via a path from the development to the Perch Street access or a nice walk along the bike path or drive along the main road to the Bonito Street access (with public parking); and the pool and hot tub were fabulous. We loved Uncle Ike's for a great meal, and Big Buck's for homemade ice cream. And Lighthouse Bagels was delicious (though be prepared for long lines, and consider ordering ahead) -- especially the pretzel beer bagel, which tasted like the coveted soft center knot of a Philly soft pretzel (actually, better). And numerous dolphin sightings from the beach topped off this incredible vacation! This really was the perfect Homeaway stay.
