Wooded Bliss at Lake Sam Rayburn

Our spacious lake house has 7 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The large kitchen is fully equipped and has a refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, ice machine and coffee bar. The open living area has a dining table that seats 8 with 2 extra chairs. The living room has a large TV with a DVD player, an antenna for local TV stations and a Fire stick for streaming and Starlink WIFI.
The lake house sleeps 22 with a very large common area upstairs with 2 bunk beds, a daybed, and a sleeper sofa. 15 beds total. The upstairs has a TV and DVD player in the common area.
There is a large covered deck that is 16' x 50' outside the back door. It has two tables that sit 6 people each and there are extra chairs too. On the deck are three ceilings fans and large pull down shades to block the sun. There is a large stainless steel double sink for fish cleaning and/or cooking outside. We have a charcoal grill, Blackstone table top griddle and a 2 gas burner cooker on a stand, the Blackstone and 2 burner cooker are hooked up to the propane line on the deck. The washer and dryer are in a closet on the deck. There is also an extra refrigerator on the deck.
We have a large driveway in the front. Parking for 8 vehicles, a boat would count as a vehicle.
The lake house is .4 (four tenths) of a mile from the private boat ramp and beach area with a beautiful view of the lake. Plenty of room on the beach for swimming and just sitting and enjoying the view. As of June 2024 the water is up and you can use the boat ramp. There are other public boat ramps nearby. Sandy Creek park is about 3 miles from the lake house and has a boat ramp. Umphrey Family Pavilion and boat ramp is about 8 miles from the lake house on hwy 255.
The National Forest is about a mile from the house for hunting.
And it is just a short drive to the local restaurants and stores. Brookeland is about 10 miles. Brookeland has several restaurants, a Dollar General, a great meat market, tackle shops and a few gas stations. There is a Dollar General and gas stations 6 miles from the lake house on hwy 63. The city of Jasper is about 20 miles away and has plenty of restaurants, a Wal Mart, Lowe's, Walgreens, Grocery store, hospital and most things a small city would have. Rayburn Country Resort and Golf Course is 12 miles from the lake house.
