Enjoy your visit to KC in this newly renovated 2bd/2bath apartment which is completely separate from the rest of the house and has a private entrance, just minutes from downtown. Guests are welcome to hang out and relax on the back patio and enjoy the amazing tree-lined backyard, with a recently added firepit area! Several coffee shops, Cliff Drive, Kessler Park, and the amazing newly renovated Kansas City Museum are just blocks away in the beautiful Historic Northeast Neighborhoods.

Wonderful place, very close to downtown.

We came to Kansas City for a concert at The Midland Theatre and needed a place to stay for the weekend. The place was extremely nice and could tell the property manger put a lot of time making this an updated, useful place to stay. Would definitely stay again!

Nice spot just outside Downtown KC!

Buddy and I brought in 2023 by staying here! Just a short ride from Downtown KC, Union Station and all else there is to do. There is a nice park with a great overlook just down the road, and an amazing little Mexican market within a block. Fun little spot!!!

Midland Theatre concert trip

We were located in just the right spot to visit the restaurants and venues we needed in our short stay!! Everything was laid out neatly so that we could easily get cozy and clean up! I didn’t have a hard time finding anything, and I felt safe having the lock with an entry code.

Great Location, Gracious host, top notch property!

Grant was an excellent communicator during the whole process. The propterty was so modern and zen. My son loved throwing the football around thw spacious, well-kept backyard. This was our first time using a VRBO, but definitely won't be our last. We are converting from hotels from here out!!

Nice place!

Cool little updated spot in the historic district. It's attached to the main house and the back has a basement entrance. Updated appliances and a nice little coffee bar. Just less than about 15 minutes from the stadiums with busy traffic. Owner was great and available for any requests. Overall great experience.

Cozy Place

We were in town for a concert, and stayed at this property for two nights. The pictures were exactly representative of the space, it was very clean, kitchen stocked well, and decorated beautifully. We had one hiccup while using the door code at checkin, but Grant was incredibly fast at responding. The communication was above and beyond, very impressed.

Great Stay

This was a nice property! It was a central location to everywhere we went, about 10 miniyes from downtown, 10 minutes to Arrowhead stadium and then 15 minutes to North KC and to Country Club Plaza area! It was very clean and a well utilized space! My husband and I were traveling with our friend and it was wonderful to have our own bathrooms and private space! Grant was super nice and responsive to any questions we had! There were no issues when it came time to check in or out, and no issues with the neighborhood during our 5 day stay. Would totally stay here again if we get the chance to return to KC!

Gorgeous set up!

Our stay couldn't have gone any better. Everything was thought of as far as amenities goes. I forgot my blow dryer and hair straightner, and they had both! Everything was labeled so there was no question as to what things were, like the garbage disposal (trust me, it wasn't your normal looking switch). We were all just very impressed with the details of the home. You won't regret this stay.

Perfect getaway location

Very clean space. Newly remodeled with nice furnishings. Perfect location for our trip to Knuckleheads and a concert at T-Mobile Center. Outdoor fire pit was great for our group. Grant was available for communication as he lived right above the basement apartment. Not a problem for us but there are stairs to get down to the apartment that may be tricky for some. Also I was not aware that this was a basement of a house and the owner lived above. The description of the property should make this more clear. It is located in an old part of the city and some may not feel safe. We knew this going in and had no problems. Overall it worked out great for us and would return again.

It's good to know, as well, that the location was perfect for your trip to Knuckleheads and a concert at T-Mobile Center and that you were able to make use of the outdoor fire pit. We feel the “home environment” and the beautiful, private backyard while being in the heart of the city is a real plus. It's important to us that our guests have all the necessary information before booking. Your suggestion to clarify that there are stairs to access the beautiful lower-level, fully-egressed unit is helpful and we’ll make that more clear in the property description. Either way, we're glad to hear it wasn't an issue for you. Your positive experience in this part of the city filled with rich history reinforces our love for the neighborhood and belief that it is a charming and safe area when visitors like you choose to stay. Its convenient access to multiple venues is a bonus. In addition to all-of downtown and stadium access, I hope you had a chance to check out the Kansas City Museum, the countless historic, restored mansions, as well as the great coffee shops and spacious parks in the neighborhood. Enjoy the patio and beautiful backyard, adjacent to a quiet wooded portion of Kessler Park. A new firepit area has been added recently and guests are welcome to enjoy it!

Note: Adirondack chairs around the firepit area are moved into storage during KC's harsh winter months (typically October-April/May); therefore, they may not be available during your stay. The patio furniture does remain outside year-round.
