So glad you enjoyed! Looks like you met our local neighbors. The deer are amazing. Come back soon.

Thank you for staying at our mountain cabin - we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Nearly all the homes in this mountain community require stairs and we do disclose them in our listing. Compared to many of the multi level homes on the mountain, ours is easier for most. Once up the standard front deck stairs to the main level of the home, one can access three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, the kitchen, living room and the back deck. The only other stairs required would be to access the loft or the hot tub. The photos in our listing were taken with an iPhone and not manipulated in any way. We have chosen to preserve the authentic wood paneling and the cozy cabin feel in our main living room with the huge stone fireplace. The other rooms have been brightened with paint. We feel our listing details and our 5 star reviews accurately portray our mountain home.

We were concerned when we saw your review. We immediately drove many hours to the property. We had the front deck inspected and there is absolutely nothing unstable or rickety about the wood stairs or deck. It has the required footings and everything was found to be solid. No wood rot was found. After inspection I even jumped around on it to see if it felt loose and it did not. We supplied VRBO with the findings. We are sorry you found the cabin dusty. Cabins in the woods do tend to collect dust from the fireplace and cobwebs due to the scenery guests often leave doors open all the time. We do have regular pest control service. And the cabin is regularly cleaned and dusted. We were unable to find dust as you described. But Your feedback is appreciated and we will continue to do our best to provide a great cabin in the woods experience to our guests. We hope you enjoyed your stay in the mountains.
