The Post Coastal Cottage -The cottage is a completely renovated vintage beach cottage in Green Hill. 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, central AC, enclosed outdoor shower, full kitchen, patio with sail shade & gas grill. Bedroom has new double bed. A double daybed in living room too. Cottage sits on 1 acre and is ideally situated just 2 miles from Green Hill & Charlestown Beach. And just minutes to Matunuck, East Matunuck, Moonstone & Blue Shutter beaches as well! Central AC, free Wifi. Washer/ Dryer. After the beach, enjoy all the local amenities; award winning restaurants, shops, parks, trails, and theatre & festivals.
Short term rental registration number: RE-01707-STR This is a no smoking, no pet property. The cottage is 550 sq. ft and we live in a quiet neighborhood. No events, gatherings or parties permitted. No candles, fire pits or open fires in or on premises. No boat trailer or RV parking allowed.

Marnee has done a wonderful job with the place, it was perfect for our trip as it was cozy and had all the amenities we needed while traveling with our family. The laundry and outdoor shower were a huge plus and it is an exceptional value. Would certainly not hesitate to stay if we are ever in the area again!

Wonderful stay!

The cottage was beyond cozy, so beautifully decorated and clean. We loved sitting outside on the patio and found it well stocked and comfortable. The owners were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Post Cottage

We had a wonderful time at the Post Cottage this past week. Marnee was very quick to respond to all questions. The cottage was perfect and clean. The backyard and patio were wonderful. It was so close to the beach, Wakefield and Naragansett.

Cute cottage but backyard camera a bit uncomfortable...

The cottage was super cute, clean, and in a great location. It was a lovely place to stay. The only thing was the camera in the backyard that follows you when it sees you, including towards the outdoor shower. It was a bit awkward, especially since you don't know if it sees you coming out of the shower after the beach, but it felt like it could.

Perfect in every way!

We loved our stay at the coastal cottage! Quiet yet close to many sights and activities, as long as you have a car. The cottage was nicely decorated, comfortable, well equipped, and super clean. Our hosts were extremely responsive and pleasant. We hope to return again next year!

Perfect stay, like a home away from home

We cannot say enough about our stay this past week. The cottage is very obviously loved and well taken care of with incredible attention to detail and cleanliness. The space is thoughtfully designed, with details down to bath and beach towels, outdoor space and linens. Our hosts were most gracious and available for any questions. We hope to stay again!

Exquisite Property

We had a fabulous stay. The cottage was beyond words. A "doll house oasis". Loved our bunny visitors every morning for coffee on the patio. So tastefully decorated and pure comfort to come home to at the end of the day. Location ideal for beach, siteseeing and fabulous dining.

Clean and comfortable!

Me, my wife, and our 2 year old son just stayed here for a week long vacation and had a wonderful time. The place is very clean and comfortable, and the host Marnee is fantastic. One of the nights we were there a neighbor was playing music fairly loudly late at night and so we reached out to the host and within 10 minutes she figured out who it was, got their number, and texted them about quieting down. A+++ host!

A Surprising & Delightful Home Away from Home

First, know that the owners call this little cottage a "labor of love," which should be readily apparent to anyone who's got appreciative and observational orientations. Thoughtful is just one word I'd use to describe the location, and this is displayed in the clever and well-intentioned use of space, the color palette, the care with which the bathroom and the outdoor shower have been constructed. Second, the owners are attentive and communicative. They made it super easy to move around in the space and I felt that my needs were anticipated. Our exchanges were delightful and respectful, both ways. Last, the place was easy to find--great directions--and the property has been marked clearly and cleanly in order for an out-of-towner to figure out their way in. This was a magnificent experience.
