The amount of falsehoods in this attack is astonishing. We do have a ring camera on the front door. It showed you leaving the following day. Not 45 minutes after check in. Our cleaning company is required to send us timestamped photos of the home after it’s cleaned. Upon receipt of the first message threatening this review unless refunded we first checked the photos and found these claimed cleanliness issues had obviously been created by this guest. Then inspected the property ourselves and came to the same conclusion. These guests were immediately reported to VRBO for trying to scam us. There was no need to respond to the obvious scam attempt and we chose to let Vrbo handle this. I can only assume after VRBO came to the same conclusion after reviewing all the evidence this guest got upset their lie didn’t work and lashed out with this review full of lies. The only truth was we did leave them a bad review to warn other hosts of this scammer behavior. Everyone reading this can see it’s clearly false if you look at other reviews.

This review feels like you are searching for things to complain about. All of the most important aspects of a stay you rated good. Were nitpicking things worth 3 stars? But I’ll address all your complaints here. 1) we supply one roll of paper towels for each stay. If you need more for a 3 day stay that would be considered abnormal. 2) windows occasionally have bugs. The bigger question I have is why are you looking at the windows while traveling. I suggest doing more sightseeing. 3) light switches. Yes. A few do nothing. Why are you even mentioning this? Everything that needs a switch has one. Including those kitchen plugs. I’m betting you switched that switch off and are now complaining because you couldn’t spend 2 minutes investigating or for a quicker solution, call the host. 4) HVAC. I don’t understand your complaint. It’s a touch screen thermostat. If you can’t push the up and down buttons to change the temperature; I can’t help you. Remotes are all Rokus. Pretty easy to use. The buttons say what they do. 5) dishes. I will shoot you straight, it’s possible. I’ll address it with our cleaners. But it would be the first complaint about it. We provide an excellent stay that is continually reviewed as 5 stars on other sites. If you had any actual concerns you should have called. I would have happily walked you through any confusion you had with the house or any accessories.
