This is a very pretty and nicely appointed house- the host clearly has an eye for design and it was nice to experience nature in a well furnished place with thoughtful details. The views really are great, and the wifi and streaming services on the TVs all worked well the central AC was effective even in the crazy August heat. Good gas stove for cooking too.

My family and I had a great stay. The Great property. The owner was always very responsive which is really great. If you are looking for some distance away from being so close to town this is a great spot for that as it is quite private and sits on a hill. The kitchen was adequately stocked so we had no issues there. The bathrooms were clean which is very important to me. It was much too hot to use the hot tub. My family also had a great time playing table tennis! My only complaint is that there weren't enough towels. Other than that we would certainly stay here again!

We did not feel the property was as described. The view was marvelous but the house itself was not immaculate. Kitchen supplies and silverware were lacking for a group of 6. Basement bedroom and basement bathroom had water damage on baseboards - guessing there might be mold behind it. Bathrooms needed caulking done and places to hang towels. Bedrooms definitely needed a through cleaning - dust and particles on baseboards and under things. We had to message twice to get the cables for the deck railing installed so the kids in our group wouldn’t fall off. Hinge in kitchen pantry falling off. dishwasher does not clean well and bottom rack did not work well . This is definitely not an immaculate family home - it was rundown and needs some tlc.

Due to unexpected conditions, when we arrived we realized we were not going to be able to stay in this house as planned. The owner contacted us immediately and put us up in a second rental that they have less than a minute away. We were so appreciative of his responsiveness and flexibility. The second home was beautiful and very clean. The owners clearly care for their properties. The location was ideal with great recommendations for food and activities.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was clean it had everything we needed and more. Our kids never touched the tvs they just enjoyed the outdoors and the ping pong table. It was so close to Sequoia National Park so we didn’t have to drive far. We had no issues with our stay, everything worked great for us. The view from the house was beautiful as well.

Everything was great. Our family really liked the house. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook family meals and we soaked in the hot tub and played games after visiting Sequoia National Park. Would definitely stay again.

beautiful mountain home

We had a great time in the foothills of Sequoia NP while visiting this home. House was clean and cozy. a great place to relax after long days visiting NPs. Had everything we needed to feel like we were at home. The outside areas were our favorite - an awesome way to watch the sunset and enjoy the beautiful weather we had while there.

Birthday getaway

I decided to book this beautiful home for my mother’s birthday. It was such a relaxing and fun place. We took so many pictures all around the home. My mother was so happy and that’s all I wanted. Created new memories in this home was amazing and the host was really nice and responded our messages right away. I highly recommend this place!

Great location

Stayed here as last stop on our cali trip. Stunning views , great access to sequoia park close to good restaurant options and groceries. Property looks slightly more dated than pictures but did not impact stay at all. Easy check in and out. Make sure you screen shot basic info incl wifi as there isno cell signal at house. Overall great stay would highly recommend!

Sequoia get away

House was very comfortable. Communication with owner was excellent and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much. Kitchen lacked a few essentials: salt, measuring cups, strainer and grater. Overall, great place to stay. Make sure to check weather for Three Rivers as quite a bit warmer than up in the sequoias.

Sequoia Get Away

Perfect location for hiking in Sequoia. Unfortunately road into Sequoia was closed for repairs so this location was not worth the extra cost paid for the location. It would have been nice if listing had mentioned the road closure. That said the property was spacious and the decor was perfect for a mountain get away.

Not well maintained

The location is great, but the house was not as advertised. The hvac is broken. It was 91 in the house and there was no way to cool the house. The remote controls had dead batteries, so the movie watching was not possible.The grill is pretty beat up, only two of the burners would turn on. The hot tub was green with chemicals and pretty dirty and some of the jets were nonfunctional and the light didn’t work. The shed with the ping pong table was filled with bats and bat feces. Dart board isn’t hung and there were no darts.If you are considering renting this house make sure that the AC has been repaired.Beautiful location, but the house needs to be taken care of better.

A cozy house to stay with great view

We were 7 people staying at this house for a night. We thought the common area queen bed was set up, until later we realized that we had to set up the blowup mattresses ourselves. But it was too late that we found out and realized the blow-up mattresses were in one of the closets the next morning via the reply from the host. It would be nice if this was informed before we arrived. Eventually, the host sent a very informative and detailed message regarding the check-in just not the blowup mattresses. The floor's soundproofing is not very good, so whenever there is any movement or activity upstairs, it is heard in both rooms downstairs. We love the little kitchen and do some cooking for dinner and breakfast. They have all cooking utensils but not cooking oils, pepper, and salt. There was some trash in the table tennis room, and the tennis table were dusty. The outdoor view is great, but the outdoor chair cushions are dirty. You can take away the cushion and sit on the chair. There is a nice little sunroom to hang out with friends for a talk. Overall, we had a good time spent there. It would still be a great place to stay as it is close to the Ash Mountain Entrance. Thank you.
