Welcome to Villa Wilali, a calm beachfront home in Pemuteran, North Bali — a place to slow down, breathe, and settle into the rhythm of the sea.

Villa Wilali offers four bedrooms and four bathrooms, comfortably accommodating families or small groups. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space opens directly onto a large covered terrace, where days naturally flow between indoor comfort and ocean air.

Set within a rare 3,500 sqm tropical garden, the grounds feel open and unrushed, with generous space between the villa, pool, and outdoor areas. A large swimming pool with sun loungers, gentle fish ponds, and several shaded gazebos offers quiet places to read, rest, or simply sit with the changing light.

Daily housekeeping and garden care are provided discreetly, allowing you to feel at home while enjoying complete ease. An in-house cook is available on request, with meals prepared from the villa menu and served at a time that suits you. Direksen, our long-time villa manager, is nearby should you need any assistance during your stay.

Villa Wilali is located around a four-hour drive from Denpasar Airport. Many guests choose to turn the journey into a scenic day trip through central and northern Bali, with optional stops along the way. Airport transfers can also be arranged if preferred.

Life in Pemuteran moves gently. Days often unfold simply — beginning with sunrise over the sea, swimming in the pool or ocean, enjoying a massage in the gazebo, or lingering over long meals as the afternoon light softens.

For those who feel like exploring, the surrounding area offers a variety of relaxed experiences, all easily enjoyed at your own pace.

An amazing place, the team that look after the villa and the guests are fantastic. The food is amazing - we didn’t bother eating out. All the activities you could want can be arranged by the villa manager. Truly stunning property.

Wonderful stay

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The house is on a peaceful beach (we didn't see any other tourists while we were here) with some local temples about 10 minutes' walk. The house is clean and well-equipped and the air conditioning was able to keep up with the heat! The large grounds were exactly as pictured, including the huge beautiful pool. We were able to have massages in our little massage pavilion right on the beach! Keep in mind that it does take 20+ minutes to walk to the Pemuteran town center and the restaurants there, but the villa has reasonably-priced high quality food they will cook and cater in for you (around $5 an entree, with a good variety of local and Western options) in addition to included breakfast per person per day (coffee/tea, eggs and toast, and fruit are included, things like pancakes and bacon/sausage a couple dollars extra). I highly recommend both Pemuteran and Villa Wilali and I hope to go back soon!

Wonderful villa in northern Bali

Villa Wilali exceeded our expectations! The villa layout is perfect for a larger group with four individual master suites, a pool just off the back patio, and the beach just beyond that. The staff was extremely helpful, the food excellent, and the attention to detail was unbelievably amazing. The in-house massages on the beach were absolutely wonderful! The owner helped us arrange travel with a great driver who was very knowledgeable as well as a superbly safe driver - ask for Madey, he is the best!

This is a GEM, worth every second of travel!

When the words come out of my mouth, or off my fingers onto the computer, it's really still hard to believe. This was the best holiday we have ever had. We are a young family from the East Coast of USA, at the moment, we reside in Bangkok, Thailand. We have lived there for 1.5 years. We are taking advantage of traveling while we are here and when my husband said "how about Bali for Christmas?" There was a resounding YES out of my mouth! But, what I didn't expect was for him to find a true gem in Bali, for us to call home for 8 days. A place for us to relax and get away from the crazy city life we live. To see nature, water, sand, mountains, flowers all around us each day. I didn't expect Villa Wilali to be a place of such deep and utter tranquility and serenity. It felt like home immediately and it was hard to imagine leaving it as soon as we arrived. I've never been to a place that wasn't my home, that actually felt like home. Our days were spent with ease and relaxation. We filled time with swims in the pool, walks on the beach to find treasures, afternoon massages and evening fireworks set off on the beach. We took morning runs along the beach, a trip to the Waterfalls, sunset cruise, ate at wonderful restaurants and enjoyed a day trip to snorkel and see the bluest starfish we've ever seen. We visited temples, fed Monkeys and rode motorbikes. The list goes on, and if you are there, take advantage of the suggestions of things to do. They do no disappoint! The staff was helpful, kind, and generous. Puspa was there whenever we needed him and never let us down. The homeowners were so thoughtful they even fulfilled our request to have a Christmas tree for our three little boys to enjoy. This house and our trip to Bali will stay in our hearts forever. For the time we spent together as a family, for the time we had to reconnect, and relax and be ourselves. And, for a new member to join our clan. My brother-in-law, Matt proposed to his girlfriend Kelli on Christmas day, just along the rock wall on the beach. For them, this place will always be a part of them too. We thank you Cisca, you have something special and we are blessed we got to experience it. Thank you. Peter, Meghan, Brodyn, Parker and Camden Lynch.

Second visit - excellent again

This was my second trip to this delightful Villa. Having stayed here 2 years ago with a friend, this time I visited with my family and one other, a party size of 9 in all. The stay was once again most enjoyable and, if anything. many aspects are improved. All of the staff are excellent. led by Putra the General Manager. All services are top notch. We enjoyed numerous spa treatments at the house, and had a number of meals cooked and served at the house. Across our 6 day stay we enjoyed a snorkelling day at Menjangan Island - a must, as well as a day trip around a number of temple sites. All 9 of us were comfortable in the 4 bedrooms, although I would not recommend more than this number at the house at once. In summary a special place - we will be returning again soon.

"A little piece of paradise"

I spent a wonderful 5 days at Villa Wilali up north in Pemuteran. All staff were excellent – friendly and eager to ensure that my stay was catered to every need. Anything from breakfast, lunch and dinner at times you desired to transfers, day tours, recommendation of local restaurants, arranging massages at the gazebo, the list goes on. The villa is beautifully decorated, all rooms has their own ensuite, comfortable beds and all air conditioned. And I can’t forget the private pool. For one who isn’t a swimmer, it was so inviting, I enjoyed a dip every day looking out to the sea just steps away. All in all I would highly recommend the villa and location. My whole experience was really special.

Great Family Holiday

If you are looking for a quiet place with private pool and beach, then Villa Wilali is a “must place’ to stay! We had breakfast in the gazebo near the ocean, swam a few laps in the pool, enjoyed our ‘open air’ showers in open bathroom and ordered local or international food for lunch from the on-site cook. We loved walking on the quiet beach and enjoyed watching the sunset from the gazebo or veranda of the villa. You can also explore the world “outside the villa” like going fishing or snorkeling with your own traditional boat or walking to the monkey forest and Hindu temple. One of our favorite tourism spots is a one hour drive from the villa in Lovina where you can see the black dolphins (if you are lucky of course) and find restaurants and coffee shops. The staff are very friendly and helpful and really helped to make our stay a relaxing, enjoyable and unforgettable one. This is how I spent the school holidays last July 2010 with my husband and son. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful House - the real Bali

After the hustle and hassle of Kuta we found Pemuteran a welcome and immensely enjoyable location on the quiet side of Bali. The house is stunning, virtually new and very well proportioned. Each bedroom has a great "outdoor" bathroom, very "Bali", and the living area/kitchen has an open layout which leads to a huge verandah overlooking the pool. Drinking a "Bintang" at sunset looking out over the volcano's on Java was just spectacular. The house has its own traditional boat, with snorkeling in the bay just in front of the house a real treat. The local village is quiet with just a few small hotels dotted along the bay. Most have decent restaurants and even a decent coffee. For local attractions visit the Monkey Temple and National Park. A day trip can include Hindu and Buddhist temples, local hot spring pools, Ubud and its Monkey forest. Get a driver though, as even on the quiet side the moped traffic is pretty crazy. We found the staff to be very nice and helpful, and the photos shown are an accurate reflection of this very impressive house. The drive from Kuta is about 3 1/2 hours, but this is almost a "tour" in itself as you wind through jungles, past rice paddies and overlook spectacular lakes. A "must stay" for anyone who wants to see the real Bali but from the luxury of a "5 star" base. Greg / June 2010.
