LakeView Getaway: Lake views & hot tub!

The home offers not only the large open deck w/a hot tub and open floor plan inside. It has an open floor plan w/a large kitchen, island, dining table, & seating area equipped w/a television. Cozy LakeView Cottage is equipped w/internet & a smart tv. The main level has 2 bedrooms w/a queen-sized bed in each room & a closet for storing your luggage. Upstairs, you will find three additional twin-sized beds & 2 double-sized beds.
HOUSE RULES:

- No more than 3 cars on site
- Do NOT park on road or in neighbors` way!
- All furniture must be put back where it is found!
- No Shoes on while inside the home
- Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM
- Please respect our neighbors by not having loud music or by yelling and using profanity (many are permanent residents!)
- Garbage must be bagged up, put into trash bins at the end of the drive way at departure.
- You must be 25 or older to rent this cottage
- Please note: RVs, tents, and campers are not permitted at our homes. Failure to comply will result in applicable fees.

The host is great at communicating from 30 days out, 2 weeks out, the week of, the day before, the day of, after you check in, before you leave, and after you leave and anything else you may need. Very helpful and easy directions. House had all of the expected items: pots, pans, drip coffee maker, large fridge, microwave, gas stove, oven, toaster, glasses/plates, sheets, towels, comforters.Lits of unexpected touches: slide on shoes, robes, towels for the hot tub, texts about local events, nice welcome book with recommendations, toys, games, smart TV, gaming console (old Nintendo and something else my 11 yr old loved), lots of baby items (crib, high chair, step stool/ potty), extra sunscreen, lots of extra blank, and a warm electric fireplace.We used every bed (all 7), no complaints. Beds were soft and enjoyable.Suggestions/notes: shower curtain needs to be cleaned/changed. Shower did not get hot water (but it was 20 out and that may have effected the temperature). House looks like the pictures, water is 1 house away, but beautiful water views. Lake Huron was spectacular, even in December.Lexington had a cute tree lighting ceremony and Santa came in on a firetruck (very small town/Hallmark movie feeling) and the little shops were open late. We heard next weekend is a horse carriage festival. We saw ice fishing in the harbor. Fun all year round, not just sun/fun.We will be booking with this host again.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! The location, accessibility for information needed for our stay and prompt responses leading up to our stay were excellent! The decor was so lovely, comfy, and the littlest details for anything we may have needed were available. The one item we all thought that needed adjusting as guests was the check in at 4pm (later than would have wanted, and checkout at 10am which is earlier than most places.) Other than that one detail, the stay was exceptional! Thanks again! Christina Sweet and family

There was so many problems with this vacation at first started out with my email getting hacked and I did not know who I was talking to half the time and it was the email through Verbo. Then we got to the destination and was told that it was a lake view we were behind a house Said we were five seconds away from the beach and there was 37 stairs that I wish they would’ve disclosed to let us know. We had a lot of seniors and could not use the beach. The house was very dirty. We had spiders everywhere cobwebs everywhere inside and out we had no towels that were clean. We had to clean and fold and get our towel towels, then realizing there was absolutely no washcloth we had to go purchase our own washcloths. Then when we went to use the gas grill that was told to us that it was there had no gas in it. It was not much of a vacation when we were running around getting everything we needed it and had to continue with laundry. The Jacuzzi the Jets did not work properly. There was barely any jets. I feel over all the stuff that we had to do that we should have some kind of refund. The patio furniture was very poor quality. The stove was very dirty and no Lake view. We were behind the house.

Amazing Property, Even Better Hosts

We had a wonderful time at this property! Beautiful views and ample space for our large family. But I have to boast the KINDNESS of the host. My daughter left her very expensive designer purse with her car keys in it. (My younger child actually hit it in the basket there). The host was amazing in helping us find it, personally went to all restaurants and locations to ensure we didn’t leave it anywhere else. Once found they shipped it directly to us. Will definitely use again! Thank you!

Cutest Lexington Cottage

We had a wonderful girls trip to this cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and well kept. Communication with owners was excellent. Beds were comfortable along with other amenities. We took advantage of the hot tub. Downtown Lexington is a 5 minute drive away, and the beach is so close. We had the beach to ourselves in May, and had a wonderful time. We would return again to this wonderful location.

Beautiful location and home

This property exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and the property had everything we needed. There is a beautiful view of the lake and we enjoyed a nice walk on the beach.

Wonderful place to stay

The house was exactly as described and the location was even better than we had pictured. It was clear that the owners truly want their guests to enjoy their stay with all the amenities they provide. In comparison to other places we have stayed in the past, they definitely go above and beyond. Check in couldn't have been any easier and we just had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location

Went with 3 friends for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The view of the lake is spectacular, a very nice neighborhood for morning and evening walks. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The house was clean and very well maintained. Communication with the host was excellent, would highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing

We had a nice relaxing time. Wish it was a little cleaner. The floors were dirty and there was pet hair all over the furniture. But hot tub was nice and beds were soft.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view!

Absolutely loved this home! We used this home for our Family’s girl trip - 7 adult women including 1 handicapped. The views were incredible especially at sunrise! The home was clean and spacious. The main complains of the home were the uneven floors (which really only impacted my handicapped Aunt) and a few girls complained of the beds. Overall, the layout of the home was perfect, the kitchen was stocked will all of the necessary equipment for meals, and we had more than enough space for us girls! Beautiful home with a beautiful view!

Great getaway

We enjoyed the lovely views of Lake Huron sitting out on the deck and the weather was perfect during our stay. It was only a short drive to the quaint downtown area of Lexington where we visited the General store, had a Wimpy’s hamburger and took a walk out on the jetty. Communication was excellent and check in was easy. Thank you!

Amazing!!

This was the perfect house for my friends and I for our weekend away! The house was very clean, my bed was comfortable and we really appreciated all of the included amenities. We loved the little donut shop in walking distance and it was only a short drive to Lexington. It was also nice to be so close to the lake. I hope to return for another visit soon!

Home Away From Home

This property will "WOW" you as soon as you walk in the door! It is cozy, inviting and has all the comforts of home! The views of the lake were awesome, especially from the upstairs bedroom. We loved waking up and being able to see the sunrise out the windows. Proximity to downtown Lexington was very convenient. We also enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and going down to the water. The owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. You will be impressed with all the personal touches from the phone chargers, bath robes and extra toothbrushes to all the comfy throw blankets. Lakeview Getaway....Go. Soon. You will love it 💙🌊💙

Adorable house!

We rented the house for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The house was adorable, just like the pictures! It was stocked with the basics which is great when you are renting. The communication was great when we thought we encountered a problem with the hot tub. However the problem self resolved before he had to call someone to take a look. The views of the sunrise were amazing! We could see them from the front door or walk a house down to the top of the beech. We walked the neighborhood in the morning and everyone we saw was friendly! I would definitely rent again!

Worth the stay

The description of the property on the VRBO site was very accurate. The owner thought of many small amenities like seasoning tools cleaning supplies dixie cups in the bathroom. The only small issue was the gravel road and the parking area. Maybe reshape the parking area and outline with railroad ties and gravel. Then every category and overall would be a 5
