Great place

We love staying here! This is our second year in a row and plan to come back next year and check out one of Matt & Debra's other rentals. Our dogs are both welcome here and love to visit, and the property and hosts are so accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an afforable, comfortable place to stay, that is close to everything but also not right in the midst of all of the hustle & bustle of the beach.

Great pet friendly place

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Safari with our two dogs. It’s pet friendly and we appreciated all the little extras they left for our dogs. The decor is awesome and our grandkids came over to visit and loved the toys and activities in the kids play room. The place was exceptionally clean and was comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend staying at any of the hosts properties at Abby Acres.

Cute little double

We had a nice stay. The beds were comfortable & there was plenty of room. The air conditioner is located in the livingroom so you have to leave the bedroom doors open to get air. Very decorated in the safari theme. GREAT location! The hosts were easy to communicate with.

Wonderful!

The Safari is a terrific place to stay! Clean, comfortable beds, large shower, very cold A/C, and charming decor! Really no negatives to mention. The hosts are very responsive and were so helpful when we needed to retrieve an important item that was left behind. We are very pleased and if the occasion arises we will certainly stay here again. Thank you Matt and Debra!

Enjoyable property

This property was very clean and spacious for my wife and I, and there was plenty of room when our grandson and his girlfriend would come over to visit. Everything that we needed was supplied with the property, and there was a Dollar General store close where we could buy most everything we needed. The property managers were very helpful with anything we needed, and also were helpful in providing us with information on places for us to hiking. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice quiet and relaxing place to stay.

Clean and close to everything

Clean, comfortable house. Very “on theme” for the safari, the decorations were so cute. We had a lot of things we would need to cook and the bedsheets were so comfortable. Nice big shower, but there was a problem with it draining really slow. Informed the property manager and, they are getting that fixed. Property manager responded very quickly to everything and was available when needed. Peaceful area that was also close to everything.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed and then some. It was especially perfect for our dogs. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home, providing dog bowls, shampoo, conditioner, and so many other little personal touches that were greatly appreciated. The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, and secluded, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The location couldn’t have been better for us since my son lives only 3.5 miles away, so it was incredibly convenient. The only thing we couldn’t find were washcloths, but that was a very minor issue compared to everything else this home had to offer. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, pet-friendly place to stay!Thank you for your service!!

We loved our stay! Check in was very simple, and communication with the host was excellent. It’s super dog-friendly and was the perfect place to stay for our dog’s first road trip. The Safari is both spacious and cozy, so we spent more time on the property than expected. There are a lot of great food options and beach access within half an hour’s drive, and Wilmington is a very easy day trip. We hope to come back and rent multiple properties at the Abbey for a multi-generational family vacation!
