We had the BEST time staying at this adorable tree house. Clay and Erica were wonderful hosts! VERY responsive to all of our questions. They know the area well and had lots of suggestions for activities. It was one of the best family vacations we've had. Their deck looking out over the ocean is gorgeous. In the first hour of our arrival, we saw orcas, eagles and humpback whales. Absolutely loved staying at their home!

Probably the best rental I’ve ever stayed in. Everyone loved the house, the view, the well-equipped kitchen and using the telescope to look at things in the water (the birds were too fast for us to catch on the telescope!). Beds were comfortable, and finally a bathroom with enough places to hang towels! The hosts were easy to contact, and tremendously helpful, especially when we needed recommendations for meals, etc. The laundry facilities made it easy to clean up everyone’s clothes as needed (especially the 7 year olds!). Much appreciated and a really lovely week.

I cannot say enough great things about the Orcaview Cabin! It was fantastic and magical beyond belief.It was truly a dream come true! Clay and Erica have thought of everything and the house is exceptional. The kitchen is perfectly stocked for cooking yummy meals. There is a wonderful library and the view out the windows is out of this world. We loved watching the bald eagles flying to and from their home on Cohen Island. The sea lions played below and we could see the whales spouting in the distance. I could have easily stayed for a month or more.The VRBO description is accurate and there are plenty of stairs to get down to the house. It felt like an awesome way to move our bodies and get exercise.It was a once in a lifetime vacation - until we have the opportunity to return which is definitely in our future. Enjoy!Thanks so much Clay and Erica. Our gratitude abounds.

Great Alaskan abode

We stayed at the treehouse in June, 2025. It is a fantastic place & we would definitely come back. The house is well appointed & very comfortable. The views & surrounding grounds are outstanding. The hosts are great communicators & are very kind.

Awesome and unique experience

Our family loved our stay at the “treehouse”. The setting is unique and the view of the surrounding water is amazing. Clay was a helpful and responsive host. The house was extremely well equipped, having everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Best View in Juneau

The view from the deck was amazing! We loved being out the road away from the cruise ships and touristy things. This allowed us to interact with the locals and connect with the community and nature. We saw so much wildlife from the deck and enjoyed the sounds of waves, birds, seals and whales. The house was well decorated and supplied with everything we needed to enjoy a week as a family of 6. This was by far the best rental situation we've ever experienced. If you are headed to Juneau, this place has to be on your list to stay at.

Amazing and Memorable Stay

My Husband and I were visiting our son who works seasonally in Alaska...We wanted a very special place to spend time together. We sure made the best decision booking the Tongass Treehouse!!! The location, the accommodations, the VIEW!! All Fantastic! Every detail very thought out, with respect to Alaska visiting guidance, best set up kitchen with every need met, Cozy and comfortable beds, bedding, blankets, slippers, etc. The most amazing book, game and puzzle selection! So clean, beautiful and welcoming. We truly hope to rebook for next year. Thank you to Clay for the amazing communication and great tips. We had an amazing and memorable stay! Mahalo!!!!

Wonderful house with amazing views!

We had a great time staying at Clay’s property. The view from the bedroom and balcony were amazing. House was great! It was suppose to rain the whole week we were there but never did. It was nice and sunny. From the balcony we were able to see whales, fish, and eagles flying around. When we traveled into town, there were baby bear cubs next to the road eating. Never saw mama but I’m sure she wasn’t far away. If we had any questions, clay was very quick to respond. Thank you Clay for everything! We had a great time. We will definitely stay there again!
