While we’re glad you enjoyed the private pool, backyard, community amenities, beach towels, pool floats, and felt safe during your stay, this was unfortunately not an ideal hosting experience. We were disappointed to read several comments, as they do not reflect the condition of the home or the communication that occurred during your stay. The home is professionally cleaned before every arrival, and the ceiling fans referenced had just been replaced with brand-new units prior to your check-in. No concerns regarding cleanliness, water pressure, kitchen supplies, cookware, the game room, or any other maintenance items were ever communicated to us during your stay. In fact, your communications indicated that you were enjoying the home. Had any of these concerns been brought to our attention, we would have responded immediately, as we always strive to resolve any issues while our guests are still in the home. Regarding the A/C, we proactively reached out after our smart thermostat alerted us that the temperature had been lowered from 68°F to 55°F despite the posted instructions on the thermostat requesting that it not be set below 70°F during the day to help prevent the system from freezing during Florida’s extreme summer heat and humidity. Our smart home system recorded the exterior doors being opened and closed more than 100 times in one hour while the thermostat had been lowered to 55°. We explained that repeatedly opening and closing the exterior doors while lowering the thermostat significantly would prevent the home from cooling properly and could cause the HVAC system to freeze. You acknowledged our explanation and advised that setting the thermostat to 55°F was accidental. Shortly thereafter, the system shut down after freezing. We immediately offered to send an HVAC technician, but you advised that the home was cooling properly and that service was not needed. When the issue persisted, we promptly arranged for HVAC service. The technician confirmed that the unit had frozen over, causing the condensate drain to clog. The house cools efficiently and stays cool. We were also surprised by the comments regarding the kitchen, as we provide starter supplies, including trash bags and a selection of basic seasonings, which were available in the home. We take great pride in maintaining a clean, well-maintained home and providing responsive service. We appreciate constructive feedback when it is shared during a guest’s stay, as it allows us the opportunity to resolve concerns immediately. We wish you all the best in your future travels.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear the stay didn’t meet your expectations. However, I’d like to clarify a few important details for future guests. Our AC system is fully functional and regularly serviced. Like many Florida homes, it relies on keeping all doors and windows closed while running especially in the excessive summer heat and humidity. Despite multiple reminders, both back and front doors were left open for extended periods during this guest’s stay, which severely impacted the AC’s ability to cool the home and caused unnecessary strain on the system. Unfortunately, the guest acknowledged leaving the doors open while the AC was running. Our property manager responded promptly to the concerns that were reported, though several damages including a broken nightstand, lamp, window blinds, and stained linens were discovered after checkout and not communicated during the stay. We work hard to maintain a clean, well-equipped home, and our listing clearly notes that the game room is in the garage. The property is accurately represented in the photos and description. We always welcome respectful feedback and are committed to improving wherever we can. I strive to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time.
