Lovely ocean front updated lower Keys home in Summerland / Ramrod Key, beautiful open water views, spectacular sunrises, great Paddle boarding Kayaking and shallow draft access boating right from the private dock. 2 Master Bedrooms, 2 full baths home with minutes to great fishing, snorkeling and diving. Office with a view along with a second desk work station available from the upstairs master bedroom. Grilling, dining and relaxing in the gated backyard on Newfound Harbor and the Atlantic open water. Close to Key West-35 minutes, nearby Looe Key Reef and marine sanctuary, and the Bahia Honda State Park only 15 minutes. For boating in the area there are a wide variety of captained excursion boats available or nearby rentals if you don’t have your own boat available. 2 person Kayak included.

We had a great stay on Ramrod Key as 1st time snowbirders. Alvie was a great host. His house had a beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. The views were amazing. Kayaking was fun right out the back door. We walked our pup everyday in the neighborhood. Everyone was so friendly. The fenced backyard was nice too.

Best sunrise house

Those that enjoy sunrises will be able to do that daily from many different view points. We love the layout and our guests enjoyed them as well. The appliances were top notch. This is very pleasant neighborhood and we enjoyed our walks each day. The dock provides easy kayak and paddle board trips. The green lights emerged off the deck attracted tarpon nightly.

Absolutely The Best!!

This was a very nice place to stay! The view is amazing, the house is beautifully decorated, and the beds and furniture are comfortable. There are many extras in the house: extra large TV, surround sound, alarm system, wine cooler, fancy toilet in the master bathroom, green lighting in the water and high end appliances—to mention a few. Annie & Alvie were very helpful hosts from beginning to end. We would definitely stay again.

So...how to review a stay for which mere words seem inadequate? Idyllic spot, genuinely gracious, thoughtful hosts, truly transcendent experience. 'Nuf said.

Best vacation ever

From the moment we pulled in the drive we knew this was the perfect beach-house for us. This fabulous home has gorgeous views from every room with all of the amenities you could ask for. The upstairs master deck offered an amazing view of the water while sitting and having coffee in the morning watching the sun come up. We really appreciated the privacy of the fenced in backyard as we brought our 2 small dogs with us. The dock was perfect for launching the paddleboards and exploring the crystal clear waters surrounding the property. We really loved the quiet peaceful neighborhood with very friendly neighbors and the 2 restaurants that are within a mile of the house always had wonderful food, great drinks and live bands every night. We can't wait to go back and stay longer as there is so much to see and do and this location and home is absolutely perfect!

The absolute best

I would leave 6 stars for Alvie and Annie if that was possible. They were absolutely amazing from pre-booking all the way through checkout and took the time to answer questions, help out with logistics, and make sure that our trip was fantastic. The house was perfect for us (couple and two dogs) and the location is fantastic. I set up the office as I had to work every day as normal, but my spouse was able to go to Key West, local areas, or just hang out on the backyard beach. I had a small boat tied up at the dock all month and if nothing else, I caught some fish from the dock each night. We also got to know the local area pretty well and you have the option of walking to a tiki bar, a short drive to excellent restaurants, or we never had any trouble with uber or lyft. The best part was the the sunrise every morning over the water and the stars at night with a full moon thrown in during the month we were there. The pictures don't do this place justice and if you aren't sold on that, the interaction with the owners shouldn't leave a doubt in your mind. I'd recommend two months. As for us, we are shopping for a permanent home in the area otherwise I'd just keep renting this house!

We love this Lower Keys home just outside Key West, we have the ability to enjoy all the awesome Key West attractions and festivals from Boat Races to Fantasy Fest and also more of our favorite things that the lower keys really has to offer including stunning water views, fantastic fishing, snorkeling, diving, along with the beaches of Bahia Honda. Hang a right at Looe Key Tiki Bar and you will find us hoping to share "Peace of Paradise" with you!
