Our house is perfect for families who enjoy some space to relax and play together while being close to Baltimore and DC to explore the cities as well. We love having the pool, sport court and land which is wonderful to enjoy time together.

Great getaway

Perfect location for a poolside getaway. The house is roomy, comfortable and well appointed, and provides guests with tons of space for a myriad of activities. Swimming, pickleball, board games, crafts and more! The host is responsive and a delight to work with.

Beautiful home, convenient to DC sites

This house is spacious with everything you need and more. The pool is glorious! There are lots of arts and crafts available for kids, chicken eggs to be gathered, and big screen TV for evenings and rainy days. There is so much to do and see in Washington DC!! This beautiful location make the trek easy enough!

Wonderful stay!

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this property for our yearly family vacation and the only rental all of us decided was nice enough for a repeat stay. 12 of us, 7 adults and 5 children, had more than enough room to spread out if we needed quiet to sit and read a book and also ample space for us to come together to watch a movie, do a puzzle or to cook and share a meal. We played some of the games that are at the house and our granddaughters enjoyed other fun stuff in the art room off the kitchen. Linens are supplied as well as plenty of kitchen, bath and pool towels which will be supplied if requested. Our granddaughters enjoyed exploring the beautiful property as well as the pool that we all used daily…some days, most of the day. The pool area has plenty of room to sit in the sun or in the shaded areas if you prefer. There is ample space to sit comfortably either way. The pool is very well maintained and clean. In the seven days we were there, pool maintenance came 2 times but were not intrusive at all. The house is about a 40 minute drive to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and a 30 minute drive to Medieval Times which we all enjoyed. There is plenty of shopping nearby…the Giant grocery store is 10 minutes away. We also had delicious eggs laid by the resident chickens. So good!! Finally, Kathleen is a wonderful host and responds very quickly to any questions we had. You’ll love this beautiful home. We sure did!

Great house! Great owner!

Stayed at this property in June. House is large and stocked with things you wouldn’t expect. Having the basketball court right by the pool was fantastic. We played games on the court and in the yard areas located all around the property and would then go lounge and swim in the pool. Our family of 15 had plenty of space to sleep, eat, and enjoy the simple joy of spending time with one another. If you want a property to stay at close to Baltimore or D.C. they are close enough to get to yet far enough away where you don’t feel the “city” effect. The owner was pleasant and if we were in need of anything, was easy to reach out to and more than willing to assist. We will definitely consider spending another vacation here!

Beautiful home and property

My family and I had an amazing time in this home. It had everything you’d need for a relaxing vacation. From the comfortable beds, to the roomy house enough for 12 of us to stretch out, to the spacious gourmet kitchen, to the amazing pool and outdoor space, I don’t know what else you’d need! Plenty of bath towels and kitchen towels were supplied and plenty of pool towels on request. Our five granddaughters had the best time playing in the tree house, painting rocks in the barn and of course, swimming nonstop in the beautifully maintained pool, especially at night with all the lights on! We loved that there was so much space to comfortably be together inside and outside of this house. The pool area is just perfect for gathering to swim or cook on the grill or just to sit and relax. Our communication with Kathleen, our host, was amazing from start to finish! We had one issue while we were there and Kathleen and Tommy, the caretaker, went above and beyond to solve the problem. We were so impressed with that! Tommy was very sweet and super helpful. We loved meeting and chatting with him. In all of the years we’ve been taking a family vacation, this is the first house all of us agreed we’d happily come back to. The area is beautiful as well and within a short drive to DC and Baltimore. Rent this house. You won’t be disappointed!

Very well equipped home

Plenty of kitchen stuff (small appliances, knives, etc), filtered water, games, kids books, arts and craft supplies, and pool floats.
