Located inside the park gates, in the Yosemite West neighborhood, you’re only 20-30 minutes from top attractions like Glacier Point, Yosemite Valley, and Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Unlike stays outside the park, you won’t waste time in long lines or have to start your day at dawn just to beat the crowds. Here, your adventure runs on your schedule.

As you can see in our pictures, Serenity Suite features an open floor plan with extra-high, lofted ceilings that make the space feel even larger. The design features plentiful natural light and peaceful views of the surrounding forest. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook meals before or after your adventures. Outside, a spacious covered deck with a barbecue offers a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a well-earned dinner after a full day in the park. It’s nearly impossible to find this kind of private retreat, especially oriented to two people, elsewhere in Yosemite and still stay central to everything.

Know Before You Book
✔ Lower-Level of a Thoughtfully Designed Duplex – Serenity Suite is located below our other home, Royal Retreat (designed specifically for two couples). Your space is fully separate and private, including your entrance, deck, and parking area.
✔ Access via 18 Stairs – The entrance to Serenity Suite is down an 18-step stairway, which is extra-wide for easy luggage transport.
✔ Normal Footstep Sounds from Above – As this is a lower unit, you may hear occasional footfall from the home above. We’ve built with soundproofing, and past guests have been satisfied, but please expect some normal sounds of occupancy.
✔ Who This Home is Best Suited For – Serenity Suite is designed for active couples who want an adventure-first experience. If your goal is to stay inside all day or have an entertainment-heavy trip, this may not be the best fit.
✔ Maximum Occupancy – Normally 2 people. Infants under 6 months may be added at no charge. Seasonally, we may allow 3 guests (any age), with an additional charge for the third guest, except for infants under 6 months.
✔ We welcome guests from all walks of life and believe in warm hospitality and creating a space where all guests feel valued and respected. We appreciate guests who are considerate and respectful of our home and community.

Technology & Connectivity
✔ Internet & Wi-Fi – We provide top of the line satellite internet, but due to our remote, forested location, performance varies. Live video calls (Zoom, FaceTime, etc.) may not be reliable.
✔ No Cell Service – Like many areas within Yosemite, our home does not have cellular signal. However, we provide a landline phone with long-distance calling and Wi-Fi calling is available.
✔ TV/Entertainment – No cable TV. We offer a DVD library, including Yosemite-related films. You can also stream entertainment using your own accounts (subject to internet conditions), but let’s be honest—you’re here for the trails, not the screen!
