Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Just 20 minutes from the Valley Floor, this family friendly studio plus loft is perfect for a comfortable and convenient visit to Yosemite. You have lodging inside the park gates with the option to cook your own meals.

Enjoy a small, private balcony. Inside, there is a stone gas fireplace and wall-mounted flat screen TV with cable. There are full bathrooms on the lower floor, and loft. There are two queen beds in the loft, and a pull out sofa. A well equipped kitchen and basic kitchen supplies. Paper towels spices coffee filters etc.

Property is fine to stay with 4 people, even with 5 of 6, using the sofabed.It has everything you need to sleep and cook and eat.

We had a wonderful time during our stay and Yosemite West is the perfect location! The accommodations were great. We were worried about not having air conditioning, but there were fans everywhere! It was well stocked with everything we needed. The only downside was spotty wifi when we needed to do some last minute research about our hikes for the day, but really not a big issue. Arnold was a great host!

Great spot for Yosemite NP

The property was as advertised; great access to the Park. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the lack of WiFi service (we were planning on researching trails and activities while at the unit but could hardly send texts).

Great condo for visiting Yosemite

Great location in the park. Very convenient being inside the park but not in the busy valley area. Had everything we needed and slept 5 of us comfortably. Would stay here again.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for our family of five. It was convenient to stay inside the gates of the park. Everything was clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to return.

Quiet and Convenient in Yosemite

Enjoyed stay in West Yosemite condo. Slightly rough around the edges from use but very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay including kitchen and 2 full baths. Host was very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend.

Amazing experience!!

This property was exactly as described. It was so cozy and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The owner was so helpful from beginning to end and the property is so well maintained. It was peaceful and pleasant. My son and I sat every night and played cards at the table after we ate dinner - which we prepared each night in the kitchen. Our trip consisted of multiple stops and the only thing I would change was to do this portion last. It was the most relaxed I've been in a long time!! The convenience of being essentially inside the park made life a lot easier - no real lines to get to all the places we wanted to visit. I highly recommend this property!! If we find our way back to Yosemite, this is definitely where we'd stay.

Winter inside the park

Great location inside the park. The condo had everything we needed for cooking, great wifi, and the fireplace provided a nice place to defrost at the end of the day. I appreciated the two full bathrooms as well. Highly recommend going down to the valley or your hikes early to beat the crowds and then going back to the condo in the afternoons to relax. Arnold was good at communicating and very kind.

Perfect Landing

It took me thirty years to finally make my way to Yosemite for several days of plein air painting, hiking, and discovery and I loved staying in this loft apartment with my brother. There are two full bathrooms, one for each of us, a fireplace, and we slept on different floors for sibling privacy! We used the kitchen a lot and even the electric grill on the balcony. We saw a gigantic butterfly and later on..a family of mule deer from beyond the balcony doors. Arnold’s hospitality, helpful tips, quick responses to questions, made this a perfect first trip for me! I would totally stay here again!

Great location for a Yosemite trip.

This place had enough room for my family of 4 to have a good base for a few days of enjoying Yosemite. 30-40 minute drive could get to Mariposa, Glacier Point, or the Yosemite Valley. Kitchen is small, but adequate for making meals and the 2 small fridges had enough storage space for our supplies. Two full baths were ideal, and 2 queen beds plus a pullout sofa provided plenty of sleeping space for 4 people. Good communication from owner made things easy. We were very happy with this stay.

Yosemite vacation

Owner very responsive to communication. Condo easy to find and a good location for traveling around in Yosemite. A bit rustic. Kitchen small but we did not use it much (breakfast only). Nice towels, bathrooms clean, beds comfortable.

Great place and location!

Loved the location and property. Easy to access the valley. Glacier Point, and lower Yosemite perfect location for us! Seems to have been recently updated with new paint, carpet, furnishings, bedding, and linens. So much space to spread out and store luggage/clothing. Included all of the basic supplies for kitchen and bath. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone! Owner very responsive and helpful to area. Take the valley tram tour your first day, first thing in the morning.

Yosemite trip

Great property, great location. The property was clean and well kept. The kitchen lacked a bit if you cook your meals, enough to get by but overall functioned fine. The owner was responsive in advising of an issue with dish disposal which occurred prior to arrival and was easy to work with. There is an ice machine on property which was useful. Overall location of property is great for access to valley and Glacier Point road. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Was very clean. Frustration was with internet and TV. Internet was apparently shared with entire condo building. Worried about security of it. Also, weakest internet I've ever dealt with. Took 2-3 minutes for a simple Google search to load. Not strong enough to play any video on phone or iPad. TV had wireless Roku. Too weak to load any TV shows. Generic remote to the one TV wasn't labeled and couldn't change input to DVD or anything else. So had no TV and no internet to speak of. Fortunately it was the weekend, so didn't have to do anything work related. Had no telephone signal there either, so not having internet was a real hassle.

Perfect spot for exploring Yosemite

This condo had everything we needed while in Yosemite! It is the priciest place we've ever rented, but the location plus a full kitchen made it worth it. Being so close to the Yosemite Valley allowed us to get a prime parking spot each morning, and it is very close to Glacier Point for sunset! The house was clean and comfortable. I was a little worried about the lack of air conditioning during a heat wave, but the temps dropped at night and the condo had plenty of fans available. It was absolutely comfortable and I would love to come back if we ever make it to California again.

Great location near Glacier Point road

We stayed here due to a 5 am wedding we had for my son, up at the top of Glacier Point road, this building was the closest to that spot and just perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the accommodations very adequate. The kitchen was super tiny - not a problem but the refrigerators (two very small ones, one in the kitchen and one in the entryway) were shallow and we were very glad we didn't purchase more food than we did on the way up. The building has stairs only, so just be aware if you are older or have any disability. This location looks as if it were built quite a long time ago and is very nostalgic. Water pressure was low, and we discovered that there is really no hot water at 3:30 am (when we were getting ready for the early wedding), but later in the day, after other folks in the building begin using the hot water, it does warm up. There was a nice balcony where we sat for coffee and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery.I have always wanted to stay inside the Park and am very glad we chose this spot, it was perfect for our needs. It was clean, had plenty of provided amenities, and some of the quirks of the place made us smile. There is a lovely fireplace indoors (we did not use it), and the carpet and couches looked brand new. Comfortable and accommodating, we had a lovely stay here.

I live in Oakhurst, a small town 14 miles from the south entrance to the park. I have been visiting Yosemite since I was a child in the 60's. I love being able to enable people to enjoy this natural wonder.

My condo is centrally located 14 miles inside the south entrance to the park. Staying here you avoid long lines to enter the park. You are 10 miles to Wawona, another 4 miles to Mariposa Grove. It is a 20 to 30 minute drive to the valley floor. Badger Pass ski area is 7 miles.
