This cozy coastal themed cottage is part of the Hearts of Arden Estate and Cottages. The property, once owned by cosmetic mogul, Elizabeth Arden, is within walking distance of historic Summerville. "Coastal" has a king bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa, a full bath, full kitchen w/ Nespresso coffee bar, private porch, pool access, beautiful grounds, and is a 25 minute drive to Downtown Charleston. Hearts of Arden Estate & Cottages, built in 1891, and recently seen on the Magnolia Network show Happy to Be Home With the Benkos, is a fully gated, non smoking property. Pets are not permitted.

A Great Place To Stay In Summerville

We had a wonderful week at Hearts of Arden! The property is stunning—peaceful, with beautiful live oaks, vibrant flowers, and a lovely pool. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The neighborhood is full of charming historic homes, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. Great location too—close to shops and restaurants, and about an hour from Charleston and the beaches. A perfect Lowcountry getaway!

Excellent weekend getaway!

A wonderful weekend getaway with fantastic hosts. The cottage was perfect for my wife and I to have a relaxing escape from daily life. Situated in a quiet area that wasn’t far from everything to see and do, we were able to explore during the day and relax each evening. We will be more than willing to stay here again!

Hospitality plus and so lovely

The cottage was so beautiful, well-appointed, cozy, clean, and comfortable. We could not have been more pleased for such a nice and relaxing stay for our anniversary. The location was perfect for visiting in-town Summerville or a short drive into Charleston. Our hosts were amazing and we will most definately return and highly recommend this cottage.

WONDERFUL! Peaceful! Quiet!

What a perfect cottage! The amenities are hands down the best I’ve experienced in a home away from home. Allison & Ron are excellent hosts. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and had everything you need for a quiet get away. The grounds are beautiful! Would highly recommend the Hearts of Arden!

Great Stay!

My husband and I spent a long weekend in the cottage and had a great stay. The cottage was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and the grounds were beautiful Allison and Ron were also wonderful hosts. They were always available for questions and provided suggestions for the area. They also held a happy hour one evening which was a great time to get to know them and learn about the area. We would definitely stay there again!

Great Cottage

The Costal Cottage was everything we were looking for. As our home-away-from-home for 2 weeks, this cottage was comfortable, well equipped and convenient to Charleston, the beaches and downtown Summerville. Our hosts, Allison & Ron, were an added bonus! They are so gracious and accommodating. I'm sure we'll be back.

Thanksgiving Stay

Our family loved our three night stay in the cottage! Communication with Allison was easy and clear. She always responded quickly. The cottage is decorated nicely, super clean. Beautiful grounds and location in historic Summerville. Enjoyed time by the outdoor fire pit. We’d love to stay again in the summer and make use of the pool.

Work and Play

My husband and I were here for a work conference but stayed a few extra days to sightsee. We got in very late, but Allison and Ron were so kind and left the lights on for us so we arrived comfortably. The house is so well maintained, clean, comfy and yummy coffee. Great location - we could walk to the square and eat within 5-10 minutes. Definitely loved Allison and Ron and recommend staying with them! Can't wait to come back!

Stress relief

This cottage was amazing. We found ourselves making un unexpected trip to Summerville and was lucky enough to find this little Coastal Cottage. While we were unable to enjoy the pool and getting out and about this is a place we would definitely come back for an actual vacation. The owners are so nice and have thought of everything. Lovely Cottage on beautiful property in great neighborhood

The cottage was even better in person! The decor is really well done, the shower and bathroom are new and nicely tiled. They even had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! There is a lot of storage space in the bedroom. It is air conditioned and the kitchen has every thing you will need. You can walk to old town easily. The owners are very kind and accommodating too. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

From the first interaction with the host, all the way through our check out, our experience was phenomenal. The hosts truly cared about making sure we had the ultimate experience. Beautiful property in great location.

We came for the Cooper Bridge Run didn’t want the Charleston crush or prices. It was a quick 25 minute drive into town. We enjoyed a few hours in downtown Charleston but decided to head back to Summerville and enjoy it! We could not get the TV to work when we first arrived (March madness!!) Ron came over immediately and got it up and running. This is just a fantastic place to stay close to Charleston but Summerville is such a fun town too. Definitely coming back.
