Come enjoy this newly-renovated condo in the historic Behrens loft building in the HEART of downtown Waco! Walk to Magnolia Silos, one block to Spice Village, and steps to all the best shops and restaurants Waco has to offer!

We stock a fully-furnished kitchen, with coffee/tea/hot chocolate, cookware, spices, serving plates, wine glasses and even frozen beer mugs in the freezer! There are 3 Roku TVs and high-speed WiFi.

Location, location, location! Set in the heart of downtown Waco, you will be a short walk away from the Silos, Fabled Bookshop and Cafe, Spice Village, and the Dr. Pepper museum. In town for a Baylor event? There is a free trolley that picks up blocks from the condo. Or on game days you can choose to forgo traffic/parking and walk to McLane Stadium (23 min walk). One reserved parking spot comes with this rental! On the busiest weekends in Waco where it can be difficult to find parking downtown, you will have a reserved spot adjacent to the building.

When you walk in the building, you'll be met with the charm of the Behrens loft building. It boasts historical value as a converted pharmaceutical building and one of the only buildings that survived the devastating tornado of 1953.

Guests please take note: as this is located in a centralized area downtown, there are occasional noises from nearby businesses and a train. Being a historic condo building, there are also occasional noises from plumbing lines and neighboring condos that can be heard. We have provided white noise machines in each bedroom as well as in the living room next to the sleeper sofa for your comfort.

Feel 100% safe in this secure, locked building. To access the unit, you will use a door code that will be provided before check-in. You will have access to the entire condo except for one locked owner's closet. In the building rear, there is a ramp for easy access.

I'll be available during your stay via text for routine issues/questions or phone for urgent issues.

No parties allowed. Per City of Waco's short term rental regulations, our occupancy limit is 6. If a party is identified, guests will be evicted immediately without a refund.

Smoking policy: We have a strict No Smoking Policy. There is no smoking tobacco or illegal substances allowed on the property. This includes vaping. Please help us keep Silo Getaways a smoke-free zone. Violators will be subject to a $1000 fine + damage/cleaning fees.

Our Host was one of the best. Making sure we were there with everything needed and then some! Checking out was a breeze since we didnt have to do any major things like bring trash to the dumpster etc. Change sheets on bed. Lol he made sure we just enjoyed our last day and that check out was a breeze. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of towels and wash cloths, soaps, shampoos etc. All the places he suggested were great. The little library & coffee shop right outside front door was so pleasant.Do go to Homestead. The Waffle place is 2025 best for a reason.

Very clean and comfortable amenities with very clear instructions on entering the building and room. It was nice not to have to take care of cleaning and stripping beds before leaving. Also nice to have untill 11:00 to leave instead of 10 like most places I have stayed. The host sent many sutes and places to eat around Waco and that was appreciated. Conveniently located to many walkable places.

We were so impressed with our stay.Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The corner location brought in extra light that made it feel bright and cheerful. I was amazed to see there was plenty of household items we needed for our stay. The loft was very clean and well kept. Eclectic condo in a loft, with a unique, elongated layout. Plenty of room for a small group. Spacious kitchen. Nice view from a higher floor and plenty of windows for light. This is a small town but if you feel at home in the city and don't mind occasional city sounds this will be a fun and lively venue. We loved the daybed opposite the master bed, which our daughter found very cozy for reading. The owner was super-responsive and focused on making our stay as easy as possible.

Really liked the place. Good price and good setup for me as a single dad with kids. Property manager was good with communication and they had what we needed on site. Parking was easy. Place was clean. No complaints. My son broke a glass tumbler and the owner was relaxed and not trying to nickel and dime me. Iā€™d stay here again.

Beautiful Waco loft

We liked the layout and interior design of this loft, bonus that you have a reserved parking spot too. Communication was great, the space was incredibly clean and there was plenty of coffee :)Loved the bookstore downstairs and that you can walk to many restaurants and the Baylor basketball arena! The only thing I would warn about for light sleepers is that there is a train track nearby and we heard it twice between 11pm and 7am, it is extremely loud.

My friends and I had an incredible stay at this beautiful condo. The industrial aesthetic paired with chic decor created a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. The buildingā€™s amenities, including the gym, luggage cart, and elevator, were a great convenience, and the key-coded entry system made us feel safe throughout our stay. The location was fantastic, with The Silos, museums, and numerous eateries all within walking distance. Parking was also a breeze, with convenient on-site options and additional free street parking available. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly stay again!

Centrally Located Waco Getaway

My sister and I stayed at The Pink Cheetah in October 2024 for a "Magnolia Vacation." The condo is in a centrally-located secure building downtown; perfect walking distance for all we wanted to see. The instructions/guide for our stay were extremely detailed and CJ was incredibly responsive when we had questions. There was a bit of street noise (traffic and a nearby bar), but we're both from rural locations so we were probably attune to it more than most. The property is well-maintained and very clean - exactly as it is portrayed in the listing. It was a great stay - would definitely stay here again!

Great location

We loved this VRBO. The location was very close to everything, especially the silos. The building that the condo is in, is really cool. We definitely felt safe staying here. Lots of space to spread out. The primary bedroom has a ton of natural light during the day making it bright & airy. Teddy Blacks for BBQ is super good & walkable. Fabled bookstore is a must!! Do keep in mind that since this condo is located downtown Waco - there is a lot of noise at night - bars are very close by and loud cars & motorcycles can be heard throughout the night. The owner did provide sound machines to help with the outside noise levels.

A little Waco gem

Stayed here for college orientation visit at BU. Itā€™s a perfect location to access campus quickly bay car and all the downtown/river district/silo district amenities all within easy walking distance. Super clean, beds comfortable, AC works amazing in the 100 degree plus heat, and fans in the bedrooms! Roomy bathroom for sharing. Building is secure with locked entrances. Will definitely stay again in the future!!!
