Relax with the whole family at our peaceful mountain getaway. We are excited for you to make great memories in our relaxing retreat. Conveniently located in southwest Colorado where the beautiful San Juan mountains meet the high plains. Bayfield and surrounding areas offer an abundance of outdoor adventures and experiences. Conveniently located between Durango, Pagosa Springs, Vallecito Lake and Navajo Lake State Park.

Nice but needs some attention

Lovely house, lots of space. It needs some paint touch ups because there were black marks all over the wall in the dining room (not sure what from since the chairs aren't close) and the guest bathroom was pretty yucky. Not sure if there was previous water damage but the baseboards are all scratched up and looked dirty. There was no stick on the front blind to close them, so those just stay open i guess. The fire pit was out of propane. The worst part by far was the master bed. I only slept about 3 hours each night. It was incredibly firm for a memory foam mattress and the support wasn't secured so it easily slid out. I put my 40lb bag on the bed and the support slipped out. My boyfriend had to get under and slide it back. We had to be very careful getting off and on the bed each time. Also, the right side of the bed was slanted and even more uncomfortable than the left. Otherwise, everyone else said their bed was comfortable and slept well. The kitchen had all the stuff we needed to make meals. The hot tub was a great addition. I would recommend this house if they fix the master bed. It made my stay pretty terrible.

Durango

Very comfortable home in the perfect location. Unfortunately we had to leave due to a family emergency but we were able to get a good nights rest prior to our 14 hour drive home. Beds were very comfortable and all the basic items needed were provided. The hot tub looked so inviting. We plan to come back in the future for a full week, the whole area was so gorgeous and relaxing, and we will look for this home again. Thank you!

Nice place to stay

Stayed with 4 friends while we mountain biked the area. The house is nice and met our needs. Clean enough and fairly well stocked. The internet was slow which resulted in a lot of buffering when we tried to stream. We did enjoy the hot tub in the evenings after riding all day! We never had a need to contact the owner/manager.

Great home-base location!

Great location within easy drive to Meza Verde, Durango and Silverton. Very comfortable home with all the necessary amenities, in a quiet and lovely neighborhood.

Excellent Mountain Getaway

This property was amazing. Clean and spacious and a perfect location for exploring Durango and Pagosa Springs. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Great family hub for Durango trip

This place was positioned just right for our time in Durango with our family of five. Nice hot tub to unwind for the day, plus some great open space to spend time as a whole family while also giving us plenty of space upstairs to have some time to ourselves. Just thirty minutes from Durango!

Great stay

This home was a great place to stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room which was great being that there were 10 of us (4 adults and 6 kids). It was a short drive to Durango and a nice location in Bayfield. One bedroom upstairs had a nice portable AC unit that kept the room cool, the other two that didn’t have an AC unit got a hot at night; the second night we left the fans running all day in those two rooms and the temperature was a bit warm but not bad at all!

Quiet, private outskirts of Durango!

Lovely home full of amenities! Love the coffee bar but the best is the garage! We had weather so avoiding the rain showers was great!! Beds are very comfy, nice showers and glow in the dark toilet seats. Highly recommended.

Great Stop on our Way from Great Sand Dunes to Durango

Our family of five stayed at this property on our way from Great Sand Dunes to Durango and then onto Mesa Verde, and it was a great place for us to stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed the hot tub complete with privacy shades. The livingroom area was great for us. We were able to play cards around the table in the evening. The bathrooms were great with a lot of space and wonderful showers. The availability of a washer and dryer was helpful on our trip. We would certainly stay here again. The property owners were great to work with.

Spring break 2024

Had a nice comfortable stay. Day trips to Durango and Silverton were fairly easy and surprisingly satisfied with Gravity Lab climbing gym. Couldn't get the coffee pot to brew but there was a pod brewer that worked fine.

Beautiful and comfy home. Cleanliness could definetly improve..

The home is beautiful but we found something at every corner about the cleanliness that we were not pleased with. My family works in the vacation home cleaning business so our eyes are keen on spotting these issues. The bathtub had dried soap, the cabinet in the master had something red splattered across the doors. There was dust and dog hair on the entry table and light fixtures and a cheeze ball under the entrance table :/ The worst were the dishes. They all had dried food and grime, where some of the cups had mouth prints so it seemed they weren't even washed. I understand if the dishwasher doesn't wash them well, but we had to rewash cups, pots, pans and silverware before we used them. There's limited seasonings and cooking supplies like no garlic, ziplocks, or tin foil, so if you are planning on cooking during your stay, I would suggest bringging EVERYTHING you will need. I asked for a partial refund of the cleaning fee because we had to clean the space to our liking, and we paid for a clean space and didn't recieve that but the owner never got back :/

Just a great experience

Bayfield location was perfect for us. The town has everything but is small enough to feel homey. It’s really close to the national Forest and we loved Lake Vallecito. Dinner in Durango was a short and easy drive. The house itself was immaculate. Very clean, super thoughtful touches like biscotti next to the fully stocked Keurig , all the spices you could want, board games for the kids. Just fantastic hosts. And they had a cherry tree! The kids loved making cherry sprite with the fresh berries. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Really really great stay

Everything we needed!

We enjoyed our weekend on the Durango, CO area. Our hosts were easily reachable for any questions. The home was very nice for our girls weekend. With the heat wave of 2023, it would have been uncomfortable if not for the hosts providing a couple window fan/AC units. They made a great difference. The house contained everything else we could need!
