It wasn't always sandy toes and turquoise waters. Their story began years ago, fueled by a shared love for people and real estate. With a big dream and even bigger hearts, they began with just two one-bedroom apartments, a humble foundation for what was to come.
They poured their hearts into meticulous care and exceptional service, transforming those two apartments into a haven of unforgettable experiences. Soon, their portfolio expanded, encompassing houses and apartments across Pensacola, each meticulously chosen to offer unique character and charm.
As the business flourished, the Bentleys' dream grew beyond them. In 2021, Jody's brother Cary and his wife Debbie joined the fold, solidifying Screaming Reel Properties as a true family affair.

But Screaming Reel Properties wasn't just about vacation rentals; it was about creating a warm embrace for all. Guided by their Christian faith, the Bentleys fostered a welcoming environment, emphasizing respect and kindness for everyone who crossed their threshold. Guests have access to the entire house and use of the back yard. Everything here is for our guests enjoyment. On top of that, you also have bayou access directly across the street.
