Great location before running the Maine Marathon! My friends and I were very comfortable. David was a great host! Also the tap water being so clean was SO COOL!

Serenity is a wonderful, cozy home with everything you'll need for resting and recharging whilst adventuring in and around Portland, ME. Amenities are more than adequate. Fans in every room. AC if needed. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is spacious with a larger standard shower and and nice, hot water. We didnt really use it, but the kitchen seems to be ready for those who want to whip something up. Spices and all. We would come back here for sure.

This is my second stay at this property and we have a third stay booked in the fall. Everything was perfect from ease of checking in and communication with the host to fully stocked kitchen and cleanliness. Highly recommend

Lovely apartment in a great location!David was a wonderful host, very friendly, accommodating, communicative, and quick to assist when needed. He even put up some Christmas decorations!Clean and comfortable, nicely stocked kitchen for spices, coffee, and staples. I cannot recommend enough - we will stay here again.

Clean and Well Provisioned

Stayed for three nights in comfort, with absolutely no complaints or unmet needs. The apartment was a great place for the price and I will be back soon.

It was convenient and comfortable. My only surprise, and that was my fault for not looking at the listing closer, was that this unit was on the second story. The other unit was on the main floor accessed through a side door. When we opened the front door, the steps up were a surprise. They are shown in the listing, but I didn't connect the fact that it was a second story. It worked out well and everything was comfortable. That wouldn't keep us from staying again. There were other people staying in the lower unit, but we never heard them. We didn't go outback to the fire pit or look for the game room that was listed as we didn't need either.

Serenity is a lovely upstairs apartment located just outside the busy parts of Portland. We enjoyed visiting the city during the day and then coming back to a quiet night's rest, and the short commute (20 minutes or less) to anywhere in Portland was very easy to navigate. The apartment is spacious and well-appointed. The beds are comfortable and the shower has excellent water pressure. There is no water filter in the kitchen but the tap water is fantastic. We stayed in the summer and the apartment had 5 air conditioning units throughout but we found it stayed cool just running a couple of them. There is plenty of space to park 2 cars right in front of the exterior door for easy loading/unloading. There are colorful lights in the trees out front to help locate the driveway if arriving or returning at night. Staying here truly felt like being a guest in the owner's home and he was very responsive and helpful when contacted, typically responding within minutes to messages. We would definitely stay here again! And if you want to eat somewhere local (not in the tourist areas of Portland) we highly recommend Continental (amazing Irish pub with delicious shepherds pie and cocktails) and Paella Seafood. Both have very reasonable prices and may just be the best meals you've ever had!

David is the perfect host. Perfect communication and wonderful recommendations for local food and things to do. The house is cozy and lovely. We would come back to this house in a hear beat!!!

My husband and I were very pleased with the accommodations. Duplex was very clean and supplied with everything needed for our weeks stay. David was very accommodating as we had asked for an early check in along with extending our original booking by 1 extra night. He also provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. Loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back if there is a need to visit the area again.

Perfect holiday

Thanks to David, we had a great holiday in Portland. Both bedrooms are very comfortable and suitable for family travel. It is about 15 minutes drive from downtown. The kitchen is well equipped and we feel as convenient as at home.

Everything you need

Dave met us at the door and was available via text messages our entire trip. The apartment is well stocked and the great touch was a bottle of wine, chocolates and flowers! Enjoyed our stay.

A Amazing Stay in Westbrook!

Me and my friends had a great experience in Maine. The house was perfect, clean & cozy. The check-in process wasn't stressful at all. The host was very accommodating and friendly. If I come to Westbrook again, I would definitely stay here another time!

Friendly and soooooo knowledgeable

Traveling Chef so the lovely mini kitchen served us well to make dinner. Decently stocked with an array of spices but best to check on what you need. Owners were extremely nice while offering many “foodie” ideas for our travels that were spot on. Clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay!

Kitchen fully stocked. Comfortable beds. Comfy little getaway. David is great at responding right away with any issues. Only negative review is it has portable air instead of central air, but honestly the ceiling fans are great.

Christmas's trip

Our stay was wonderful even though the weather!! We found everything we needed. The house was neat and clean!!! the expectations match reality. The owner was very nice and available by text message at all time We definitely will come back ..

We were very comfortable in this upstairs apartment. Bedrooms could use some mirrors as only one was in the bathroom. Overall good experience.

David was very friendly. He recommended a lot of different restaurants to eat at. The house was neat and clean. There were fresh flowers there when we arrived. David made us feel very welcomed.

Hope to stay again!

A very comfortable, well thought out space with two bedrooms, nice size bathroom and good small kitchen with room to sit around the table and everything needed to cook. The place was very clean, the host is very accommodating & helpful...very kind. Not fancy, but just fine for collapsing at the end of the day; beds very comfortable. (kitchen is obviously updated) Very quiet in evening, which is important to us!!
