Located in a secluded corner of Cliffview Resort region, Peaceful Haven offers excellent central location convenience and a private secluded setting. Close to hiking trails & Zipline. A great hidden gem. Being in the mountains biting bugs can be nasty, but not a problem in the large screened in porch spanning the whole length of the Cabin! Newly renovated in 2023- new furniture, new flooring, New 2nd Living / Arcade room, and a New 3rd Full bathroom added.

This 2-story house offers 4-BR, 3- full BA and can sleep up to 10 people. Two bedrooms are on the main level each with a queen bed, the master suite having a private en suite full Bathroom with step in shower, The main level has a 2nd shared full bathroom with a tub shower combo. Two bedrooms are in the lower level den, one with a queen bed and the 2nd with a Queen and two twin beds. The lower level has the newly added 3rd Full bath with step in shower conveniently located by the hot tub deck for easy rinse off after a nice hot soak! The outdoor hot tub has room for 5-6.

The main living room features a New (March 2025) 50'' Smart TV, Satellite TV, DVD player, a wrap around deck with an awesome screened-in porch spanning the full length of the house with furniture and fun string lighting, The full service kitchen features a large refrigerator, dishwasher, gas oven/range, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and all of the kitchenware needed for a weekend escape or extended stay! The lower level Den features a new 2nd Living Room with 50'' Flat Screen Smart TV and large sectional with plenty of space and two arcade games (one cocktail table and one upright) with hundreds of built in games to choose from. Cabin features central heat/AC, High-speed Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, a towering stone wood burning fireplace. There is also a washer & dryer available for guest use.

Outside, the deck sits a natural gas grill for worry free endless grilling which is a beautiful thing. A great fire pit with benches with room for all to enjoy campfires and toasting s'mores! This house will allow a well trained pet with a Pet fee.

Parking Area will fit several cars, trailers are recommended to park at the top of the driveway before the gate on the pull off by the trash container.

All utilities are on reliable city connections.

This house has an amazing view and everything you need! The only thing that needs attention is the shower curtains...especially the one in the master bathroom. The bottom of it was disgusting! I hope they change out the curtains more often

We were 2 families with young children and had a great time. Plenty of space, beautiful view, secluded but still close to many attractions. We were lucky it wasn't snowing because the access would be impossible.

The cabin was nice. Good size kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. The hot tub was not clean and although they sent someone to drain it and clean it, we couldn't use it because it never got warm enough to get in during our stay. The hot tub was the main reason for booking this cabin. The next people will get to enjoy. Lovely property and location but the cabin needs some attention to detail as far as cleaning.Great time for family stay, the fireplace and porches were so nice.

Beautiful cabin

My family stayed in this cabin during our trip in Slade, KY and loved it. Super clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. I will definitely stay here next time we visit the area. It is secluded enough from the other cabins to offer total privacy, but conveniently 10 minutes from the town.

Perfect for us!

There were six of us with two dogs and we had the perfect Christmas stay in the mountains. Wonderful area, lots of hiking and beautiful views. Lovely, roomy cabin with fireplace and hot tub. Host was so helpful with directions on the phone. We would love to go back! Made some fun and lasting memories.

It was great for what we needed didn’t spend much time at the house beds were comfortable. Kitchen was furnished with pots and pans for cooking would stay again.

Cozy Group Cabin

The cabin was very clean and cozy with an excellent porch (with bug netting). Was a great rental for our larger group. Just make sure to bring any extra towels and toiletries including soaps and shampoos you may want.

View was wonderful, clean and very spacious. Check in was easy, and the cabin is close to every thing. Only thing I would say to change is the directions are a little confusing that they give you in the office check in. Would certainly recommend

Great place, few issues

Great place and it was pretty secluded, the maps didnt accurately show where the place was but we just kept going straight and found it, the gravel road going up and down was pretty cool but also a little stressful

Plenty of space for everyone

8 out of 10 ladies in our hiking club were able to enjoy the Peaceful Haven cabin for a few days. Everything we needed was quite close - local food, great hiking trails, and peak foliage. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and the very large screened in back deck. For our over 80s Ladies the even ground between the driveway and the front door was a welcome sight. We definitely recommend the Peaceful Haven cabin.

Very nice cabin!

We had a great stay at Peaceful Haven this weekend! We had plenty of space for our group of 10, and absolutely enjoyed all the amenities of the cabin!! The directions to get to the cabin were a little complicated but we found it using Google maps (make sure to download an offline version 😉). The floors were a little dusty but we were in the woods. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The hot tub was clean & a perfect temperature. Thanks for a great stay!!

First had to check in at separate place and received one key for 9 people. Had a second key on ring but did not tell me i had to unlock a big gate to get to gravel driveway to house. The long gravel driveway was full of huge pot holes. Our car bottomed out several times. The bathrooms were very dirty and shower curtains disgusting. No ice maker no ice. On

Peaceful haven

The stay at was great! The only complaints were we wished the directions from check in to the cabin were a little more clear or even a print out map with highlighted route would have been a game changer! And the house has a “heartbeat” you can hear the water sloshing and gurgling through the pipes throughout the whole house the whole time. Almost sounding like a heartbeat. We got used to it and was fine but was pretty noticeable at first. Other than that it was a great stay and great location! Will do again in the area!

Reserved this cabin for my daughter’s 16th birthday, she invited a few friends. It was listed with a pool table which we thought the teens would have something to play however there was no pool table. At check out I asked about the pool table and the lady told me there was one. I explain it was not there. She said she had been out of the office several days and she would need to check into i, and she would let me know. I have not her from here.

I sincerely apologize for the confusion and disappointment regarding the pool table. At the time of your stay, the listing still reflected that the cabin included one, as our office had not yet been notified by the owner that it had been removed. This was an oversight on our part, and we completely understand how frustrating it must have been to expect an amenity that wasn’t there—especially for a group of teens. I also apologize for the delay in following up with you after your check-out. Once our team confirmed the pool table had indeed been removed by the owner, we updated the listing immediately to reflect this change. We are now working on improving communication with all property owners so that amenity updates are passed along to our staff promptly. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are very sorry for the inconvenience.

A little disappointed

Overall the cabin is nice. The main level is beautiful and craftsmanship was impressive, in contrast the lower level was much more like a basement and the finishes were not well done. The stairway didn’t appear to be built to standards, short treads, and my 8 yr old grandson fell all the way down the steps. Luckily he was only bumped and bruised. The upper level was well cleaned, tub/showers were a bit stained, but not dirty. The lower level had mouse droppings throughout, esp in corners, and including in the beds. My daughter didn’t tell me because she didn’t want me to feel badly. The night before our last night we actually saw a mouse and it had gotten into my daughters purse where there were nuts, and into food on the counter in kitchen in main level. We notified the property manager Haley, who was great and tried to assist in finding a different cabin for our last night. We ended up staying at a hotel and were reimbursed for the night we didn’t stay there. It was disappointing of course, esp given the cost of cabin. We didn’t use hot tub but it looked nice and seemed very clean. Screened in porch is very nice Only other comment is on the drive to cabin, it was really rough, huge potholes and needs to be leveled.
