This condo has everything to make for a memorable stay in Telluride. The convenient in-town location provides unobstructed views over the Beaver Pond and Town Park to encompass Ingram Falls along with Ajax and Ballard mountains enjoyed through the front bay window and 2nd story balcony perfect for star gazing.

Head out the back door and it's a short walk to the gondola. Out the front door head to Town Park for a festival or Main Street where shops, restaurants and entertainment are all in easy walking distance. Keep the car parked in a reserved garage spot or on the street in front for larger vehicles during your entire stay!

The unit has a master bedroom with king size bed and private bath/shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and there is a second bathroom with shower making it very comfortable for up to four people from age 8 - 88 years old. The kitchen is fully stocked and adjacent to the dining area. Washer/dryer is provided in the unit.

Recent remodel of living room and kitchen include marble counters and wood floors while remaining a place that captures the comfortable quirkiness of Telluride.... and it's where you want to be!

We loved our in town stay near the Beaver Pond. The view from the living room was amazing, the newly renovated kitchen was very nice, and the communication with the owner could not be better. The walk to town is short and the path by the river is so close. Would book here again!

Great location

Don has just about all you need at the property and it is well stocked. Really good for friends or family with adult children as distance to the lift and stairs may be hard for young kids to navigate. Would stay again without hesitation.

Beautiful and convenient location

Our stay was wonderful. The location of our condo was so convenient and within walking distance to downtown and the ski slops. Our condo was so nice and had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner of the property and answered our questions fast while we were there. We will definitely come back and stay again!

Perfect vacation

Don was wonderful communicating with us from the moment we booked throughout our stay. He responded almost immediately each time I had a question. The view looking out over the beaver ponds is hard to beat. The condo was well equipped and very clean. The location is great too. We walked everywhere . Hope to stay at this condo on our next trip!

Perfect View

This is a lovely 2 bedroom condo in Telluride that looks out over a wetland complex before the beautiful mountain backdrop that Telluride is so famous for. It has a nice living room to watch TV or movies and a comfortable kitchen and open dining area. It is a pleasant place, clean, and tidy with the best view off a small balcony ever. Perfectly situated near town, a market, the library, restaurants, and of course the mountains!

Comfortable and conveniently located

We just spent a week at this condo. The beds were comfortable and the unit was close to the gondola and shopping. The kitchen was well stocked and it was very nice to have a washer and dryer. The only thing missing was cable TV, as we could only watch 2 channels on TV. We did consider that to be a basic thing that was missing. Otherwise, it was nice and also nice art! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed your stay! I was nearly compelled to add cable but have decided to keep the place somewhat media free. The intention is to provide a stay that allows guests to enjoy all that Telluride has to offer without the media disturbance. This was a decision reinforced by my recent visit there and I cancelled the installation appointment. Thank you for your comments as they will be helpful to future guests.

great location, just could use a little updating

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, right in town, but off main street so it was really quiet, except for the last night when the neighbors hung out on their deck talking loudly till 3:00 AM, but what can you do? We always bring ear plugs anyway. The place was functional, but could use a little updating. There is a lot of the owners belongings in closets and drawers, so you have to be a little creative finding space for your clothes. The cleaning people had not cleaned the place when we arrived, but the owner was very responsive and had it taken care of immediately. Lots of old stuff in cupboards, so be wary. I checked a bottle of coffee mate and it had a date of 2007. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

This review accurately points out that location is what this unit is all about. It is now primarily a rental simply because our kids have grown and I can't bear the thought of others not enjoying Telluride affordably. I make it up that way periodically so there are personal belongings in some dresser drawers and in a closet (I even bring fresh coffee mate to refill the original container!). Certainly new countertops, tile or other updates would be nice but the primary desire is to share a beautiful location with others. This review is appreciated so that future renters will have realistic expectations. That said, this quote came in by email from the renter that arrived immediately after this review was posted: "We made it here, everything went well, and the condo is unbelievable. We absolutely love it."

Comfortable

The property had most of the conveniences of home and the owner was quite helpful and easy to communicate with. The view from the living room is stunning and the proximity to the park was perfect. The gondola was about 3 blocks away and the best part of downtown 2 blocks away. I was disappointed the porch in the photograph wasn't directly off of the unit but is communal to the building. With the incredible snow fall the front door was inaccessible and we had to use the spiral staircase which was a challenge in ski boots. The unit was comfortable but a little dated but overall provided us what we needed to have a wonderful ski vacation. We enjoyed the pizza at Brown Dog - perfect for football playoffs. We had to try dinner at Alpino Vino and while it was an experience eating at the highest restaurant in North America via a snowcat shuttle with a very pleasant and helpful staff I don't think it was really worth the price. Cosmopolitan was a decent restaurant but didn't live up to the hype. Our favorite restaurant was 221 Oak. It was a true gastronomical sensation and would go back often if we lived in Telluride.

Glad the place worked out for you, Tanya. The balcony is for the sole use of my guests as it is an improvement specific to the unit. The incredible snowfall during your stay made for great skiing but I'm sure left the balcony with a heavy accumulation of snow. I just departed the property on the date of the review and it was completely cleared. I emphasize the location and views as that is the draw in renting my place. Your review entitled "comfortable" is what I want to ensure renting my place provides. Thanks for providing future guests some of your experiences around town. We have similar opinions about the restaurants. Very helpful. Thank you.

Great Location with Nice Views

This condo is located on the east side of Telluride and has great views looking over the beaver ponds to Ingram Falls. It's close to good restaurants so no need to drive to eat out. A garage slot is provided for a small to mid-size vehicle. It's next to the river trail which is a beautiful walk and close to the Bear Creek trail which leads to a nice waterfall. The gondola to the Mountain Village is only a few blocks away.

NEVER USED THE RENTAL CAR ONCE

What a great location. This was our first trip to Telluride. Went for a boys weekend ski trip. Parked the car in front of the unit on Thursday and never used it again until Monday when we left. Truly the perfect location. We could walk to the Gondola and to all the restaurants, bars, stores, and bakery in town. I will be back. Very gracious host and he checked in several times. All was great.
