Charming 880 sq ft apartment with dramatic sunlight and complimented with a 450 sq ft bluestone terrace and grilling patio located in downtown Petoskey. Lake view breakfast nook with sliding door leading to large 200 sq ft furnished balcony that comfortably seats 6 overlooks beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Gracious living area with hardwood floors throughout. Bath with extra large shower and marble floor. Bedroom has a king bed with top of the line linens for your best night's sleep. All the things you would expect for a 5 star rental. 0.4 mile walk to downtown Petoskey. Little Traverse Wheelway and the Petoskey Waterfront are just around the corner.

Perfect place to stay if you like to park your car & walk. Just a couple minutes to Bayfront Park & Bear River Area. 10 min. to downtown shopping and dining. Or you could just stay at the apartment and sit on the deck or grill on the patio.

Beautiful decor, close to everything!

We loved our stay. The apartment is well appointed and beautifully decorated, and the location is ideal - close to downtown Petosky, and steps form the lake and the Little Travers Wheel Way. I would recommend this property.

Cozy and perfect for two adults! Tons of places to walk and enjoy the lake. Wonderful upstairs deck. To those sensitive to road noise, you will hear it during the day and then nothing at night.

Upscale apartment -- loved the dedicated parking space -- very convenient to shops/restaurants in Petosky -- yes, there is a busy street in front, but bedroom is in the back & no trouble sleeping. A wonderful oasis.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated and well equipped unit. Diana was lovely to work with and available to us if we needed anything. We would highly recommend this apartment!

This is a Beautiful, well maintained property! Close to downtown shopping and the shore. Plenty of books for any tired feet or a rainy day and of course a TV which includes premium channels. I rate this a 5 star.

My husband and I loved staying at Upstairs at the Lake! It’s an immaculate property, thoughtfully decorated with a comfortable king bed and very conveniently located. There is a bit of road noise but it didn’t bother us. Loved relaxing on the porch at the end of each day, enjoying the views of Lake Michigan. Easy and helpful communication with Diana. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment—it made the perfect home base for our first trip to Northern Michigan. The unit is beautifully finished and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The only downsides were its location on a busy road and the sleeping arrangements: while it’s listed for four guests, there’s only one king bed and no pull-out sofa.

Great Apartment!

The apartment is very clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and was in a very good location. It was perfect for our long weekend in Petoskey; a great home base for visiting the entire area.

Lovely well appointed accommodations.

Architectural enthusiasts will love all the attention to detail and design in this perfectly appointed space. Easy walk into downtown and over to the Little Traverse Bayfront parks. We love Petoskey and this space is a gem -)

Beautifully Appointed

Small but has everything a couple could want in a short stay property. Beautifully decorated and excellent customer service by property manager. Right on US 131 so expect some road noise but it did not bother us.

Get away

Lovely little bungalow, perfect for two. Cozy yet roomy with everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the view of the lake from the back patio. Nice walk to the pier, marina and town.

Wonderful Apartment

This is a beautifully done space. Everything is executed to perfection. It is spacious and very comfortable. It is conveniently located near downtown and the Wheelway. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The house is, however, on a main road and the traffic can be loud much of the time. But overall I had a wonderful stay and would enthusiastically recommend.

Great find!

My husband and I stayed here for our first visit to Petoskey. We arrived late afternoon and unloaded our things and headed into town on foot. Within 7-10 minutes we were seated at a lovely restaurant.The location is perfect as it’s just a short walk into town; a block and a half to the bike rental; and steps to the bike path and trail that runs along the lake, marina and into town.We found the accommodations very comfortable and impeccably clean. Diana was always quickly responsive when I reached out with questions. We can’t wait to return to Petoskey and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful little home

We very much enjoyed the place, the upscale and amenities. We felt very much at home. The check-in process was very easy and we made use of the patio. The place is a short walk to the sunset pier and a little bit further into town (we ended up driving as parking was ample). The one thing we would have wished was a little less road noise / traffic in front of the place which started early in the morning and late into the evening.

Pristine 'Model' Apt - Upscale Cape Cod Style

The upstairs apartment was definitely as advertised. Its located above the office of a custom home builder/restorer which is clearly the owner as evident by the creativity and new/cleanliness of all the fixtures. The road noise was inconsequential (we noticed someone else mmentioned it in a prior review though it was negligible). About a 5 min walk from downtown, we would definitely stay again.

Perfect Petoskey Getaway

We really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay in Petoskey! From the lovely welcome basket upon arrival to the beautiful accommodations and kind host and hostess, we felt at home from the start! The modern design and decor of the apartment is fitting for an upscale apartment in northern Michigan. Everything from the bed linens to the bathroom towels and kitchenware were all top of the line and high quality. Special touches in every room make the apartment warm and inviting. The proximity to town allowed us to easily walk there using the backstairs to the waterfront through Bayfront Park! The Little Petoskey Wheelway is also just at the bottom of the stairs! We enjoyed dinners in town, but also getting to use the brand new grill on the downstairs garden patio! Relaxing on the upstairs patio with the view of the bay was a daily treat! The natural light in the apartment makes it feel like home! It was the nicest place to stay on our best vacation yet!
