This is our second year staying here and we plan on being here again next year. It fits two families comfortably with space to move. Close to two beach access points and just enough away from the hubbub of the pier area. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

We had a great week, the weather was perfect and the views were spectacular. The gathering spaces were wonderful and large enough for our group, which doesn't always happen. We especially enjoyed coffee watching the sunrise from the top deck.

Loved this house. Perfect location between 2 beach access points, and took us 2-3 minutes to walk to each one. Loved the layout of the house too! We had 7 adults and 3 kids, but it never felt crowded. Will be staying here again in the future!

Relaxing Stay

My family and I loved our time in this beautiful home. The pool area was wonderful, but our favorite part was sitting on the deck and feeling the breeze while looking at the ocean. The home had everything we needed for a stay. We would definitely stay in this home again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Lisa’s Ocean Isle Beach home and would absolutely love to come back! The house was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and truly felt like a home away from home for our family.The location was perfect, with beach access only about five houses away. We rented a six-seater golf cart from Kool Karts and had so much fun cruising around the island, popping into town for a quick bite or an ice cream treat, and easily getting everyone and all of our beach gear back and forth to the beach.Some of our favorite memories were the simple ones. We loved sitting out back by the pool, listening to the neighboring families laughing, giggling, and enjoying time together. It gave the whole area such a happy, relaxed beach vacation feel.At night, we would sit out front on the swings or Adirondack chairs, watch families ride by on golf carts, and enjoy the moonlight reflecting off the ocean. Those peaceful evenings were truly some of our favorite moments of the trip.Lisa was wonderful—so kind, responsive, and communicative throughout our stay. We made such special family memories here and were genuinely sad to leave. Thank you, Lisa, for sharing your beautiful home with us. We would happily stay here again!!

Great family beachhouse

Beach house was great for our family. Great view of ocean and great amenities in house. Our family of 9 relly enjoyed our stay at Change of Pace. Two different coffee pots and adequate supplies in kitchen were a great help.

Connelly Beach Week

Every two years we come down to Ocean Isle Beach. This is the first time we have stayed at this house. By far, it has been the best. The views are amazing. The last night we were there we saw a double rainbow and jumping dolphins from the balcony. Owner quickly responds to any questions/concerns.

Great change of pace for our family!

We loved our stay at OIB! This house was perfect for our family group of 11. Kids had space to hang out and adults enjoyed mornings and evenings on the porch with the ocean breeze and beautiful views. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and new furniture was comfy. Walk to beach was close and pool and outdoor shower were nice to have at the house.

Great house with an abundance of comfortable living space! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our family. The location of the house is very close to the ocean with the beach access just a few doors down. The ocean view from the house is wonderful!! A great time was had by all!

Perfect Girls Weekend

Let me start by saying this was by far the cleanest rental property I've stayed in ANYWHERE. The layout was perfect, furnishings were acceptable and the kitchen more than well stocked. We enjoyed ocean views from the top deck and hanging out around the pool. Parking was plentiful for our large group converging from all across the country. Access to the property was super easy and the owner was very responsive via text messaging before, during and after our stay.

Beautiful Home

We loved our stay here. The best part of the house is the top front porch with a beautiful view of the ocean and even when raining, you could sit there and eat or relax. The pool was an added asset. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Only negative was the fact linens were not provided.and having little children,more than one bathtub would have been nice.

5 star stay!

My family has been coming to OIB for over 40 years. As our family has grown, we had to take the leap out of our long term small beach cottage rental and book a larger house. We are so glad we chose this beautiful home! We loved the ocean view from the upstairs porch and the easy access to the beach. The furniture was incredibly comfortable, never had any issues with water pressure/temp with multiple people using the many bathrooms and our little ones LOVED the pool. So many memories made and look forward to future stays!

Sweet week

Thorough enjoyable. House was comfortable, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool a lot .The only issue was a blender that had no rubber gasket and was gross and moldy where the rubber gasket should have been. Overall a very nice experience and I would rent it again.

What specifically? If anything it is more updated. New living room furniture in upstairs and downstairs. New dining room table chairs and decking around the pool and on the poolside decks. Please provide more information.

Ocean Isle wins again

We have been coming to Ocean Isle for a few yrars mow with family and meeting up with friends and their families. The island is perfect for relaxing and has the best feel. Change of Pace was great! Even though its a second row it has a beautiful unobstructed view from the top level, and the house looked even better in person thanks to some upgrades and new furniture. Lisa was quick to respond anytime we texted and when we had an air conditioning issue she sent someone out within a half hour and it was promptly fixed. We would definitely stay again!!

This home was perfect for our Annual Family Vacation! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals! The dryer was taking a long time to dry and someone came out and fixed it, much faster drying time now. I would suggest that they need a new grill, was very rusty….we didn’t feel safe using it. Everything else was great….a great view of beach and a short walk! Our first time to Ocean Isle NC, beautiful area!

Beautiful house

Love the house and location to beach access! Also the porches are the best with amazing view of the ocean! Lisa was awesome to work with!! The only thing I would suggest is black out curtains in each bedroom b/c the neighbors outside lights are bright and houses are very close. Also, when the sun comes up, the room is lit up. The dryer had some rust spots inside door. These are minor when evaluating the whole experience. Great week!
