The Beach Club At Siesta Key-Time to upgrade

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While our stay was good, we have stayed here several times over the years and it is probably time to do some over all renovating of this property. You can definitely tell that is old and the smell in our room was that of like oldness. But overall we did get to relax.

Great location and place

The place was tastefully decorated and clean. I loved the deck area. The location was close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. There was a mildew smell that we didn't care for, but we after being in there we didn't notice it as much.

Good location

If you don’t need beachfront property this is a good option. The beach access is a public one. It is wedged between a couple resorts and pretty tight, so go very early. It’s very close to several fun restaurants and a shuttle that runs constantly.

The beach was very close and I loved that but the bed was hard and the pillows were not comfortable so it was hard to sleep. Other than that the stay was nice.

Wish We Could Stay Longer!

Really appreciate having beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use. The location is perfect! Short walk to the beach and to some great ice cream at Jake's Ice Cream on Siesta Key. We only had 2 nights and wish we could have stayed much longer! We definitely recommend and will return again.

Bedroom was too small for actual bed. No space for movement around bed and access to closet. Extra bed pillows were disgusting. Lighting in bathroom too dim. You should include that beach access is limited due to resorts.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented this unit for family to stay in while visiting us in Sarasota. They stayed there for three nights. During this time, they never had any bath or beach towels. The only towels they were given were hand towels, washcloths, and a bath mat. They were told that the linen delivery service had not provided enough bath towels. The situation was never corrected. In addition, the wifi and the TV did not work for the stay. Lastly, the tile floor was cracked very badly. Perhaps the most disappointing thing of all is that I contacted management before creating the review and they blamed the issues on the linen company and the homeowner's association. I would never rent here again.

What a difference in two years

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two years ago it was good, not now. It began an email saying they were having a spring sale. I got the run around from booking for weeks and finally was told there were no sale prices. The unit is not maintained. The was a piece of roof flashing hanging down onto our deck. The light for the deck was broken and did not work. The ceiling fan on the deck did not work and it’s light did not work. An outlet in the bedroom was hanging out of the wall by its wires. A sconce was hanging out of the wall. A cockroach in the bathroom. The bathroom cabinet was broken. It sleeps 4, but only had 2 sets of dishes, and 3 incomplete sets of silverware. The dishwasher was missing the top rack. The bedroom TV was strangely mounted to the side of the bed so low that my girlfriend on the opposite side could not see the whole screen. The remotes were grossly sticky. The bedroom was extremely small with a king size bed. The bed took up so much room that the one side only had 6” between the wall, you had to crabwalk to get in on that side. With that king bed, the door to room, door to the laundry, closet door and door to the deck, none of the doors opened all of the way. We could barely open the laundry door wide enough to use the washer and dryer. The dryer had a broken part in it, so it was annoyingly noisy when it ran. And all the doors swung into the bed and each other, so it was a puzzle to swing doors open and closed to get through the room. Outside, the trash/recycling area was disgusting. The recycling was piled high with debris, broken furniture & appliances, and critters. And smelled. The shower to wash off sand did not work. The pool was so milky, you could not see the bottom. The positives, it was clean, the sheets and towels were clean and it is close to the beach. But renting the nice beach lounges and umbrella were double for us because RVA would not set up a deal with the chair rental co. on the beach.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Location was perfect. Very short walk to the beach and a short drive to the village for a day of shopping. The only thing I would change is to pull the carpet out of the bedroom and tile it. It seemed dirty and constantly damp. I would also put a light above the sink and have more kitchen utensils. Lastly, because the unit was the furthest from the server, we could not get on the WiFi for our entire stay. All and all we loved it and will return. Thank you!

Both Wife and I love visiting Siesta Key Beach area, and this resort is our no. 1 spot going forward Great location to the beach, large pool and nice quiet section of Siesta Highly recommend this location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I loved staying here. We booked four 4 nights and I definitely could have stayed 10 more. Location wise, you can’t beat it. Couple minute walk from a private beach entrance, and the opposite direction same distance is the siesta key breeze shuttle pick up to access the rest of this beautiful island.The bathroom was very nice. It was also super convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit Sarasota.
