Welcome to Carly’s Cozy Cottage - a chic cottage in Lake Elmo! It is about 950sqft of renovated finished space up stairs & a basement that is currently storage.

Large lot on .92 acres in a safe Lake Elmo neighborhood. The cottage is on a dead end road that has a secret entrance into the Lake Elmo Park Reserve!

The basement stairs are very steep! The laundry is in the basement.

The cottage is approx 950 sqft on .92 of an acre with a bonfire area. The cottage is on a dead end in a quite neighborhood. Downtown Lake Elmo has a coffee shop, great breakfast places called Gormans, couple small bars (Twin Point has cheap drinks/ bar food, No Neck Tony’s has good cocktails and food) Fine dining at the Lake Elmo Inn. DT Lake Elmo is very quaint and 3min drive away. Other close spots with a great summer patios are Tamarack Taproom and Cozzie’s.

Woodbury and Downtown Stillwater have multiple dining options as well. I would recommend spending a day in Downtown Stillwater, the first city of MN.

Free parkin’ in DT Stillwater Nov 1st to April 30th! Super cute winter town, must see!

The large master has a new (7/24) King sized bed with adequate open closet. There is a desk area in the master for those who can work from anywhere! There one queen in the second bedroom.
Open concept living room/kitchen. Fully furnished with everything you’ll need.

The Lake Elmo park reserve has a ‘secret’ local entrance down the block from the cottage.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed! Carly was a thoughtful host and even accommodated a last‑minute check‑in change. The extra touches made us feel pampered, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the furniture was cute and cozy. Our dog loved it too. We’d happily stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage- exceptionally clean and quiet with comfortable beds and furniture. Loved the little coffee bar and the gardens are beautiful. We have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this is one of the best.We hope to return soon!

This cottage is so charming. The prop is even better in person, and the owner makes everything so very easy. Place is immaculate, beds are comfy, bathroom and kitchen have all you need. The area is just lovely, and the street is quiet and safe.

Amazing Find

A great place close to the Washington County Fairgrounds. The guests raved about the property and loved stopping at Hagbergs for great food from the Deli!!!

Cozy cabin perfect for skiing weekend

Great location for a winter weekend get away. Carly was a very attentive host, cabin was well appointed, definitely recommend for activities in and around the twin cities, Stillwater and Afton Alps skiing.

Lake Elmo Cottage

This cottage was a little slice of heaven! I really enjoyed my time here. Carly was responsive (more quickly than I have ever experienced) and resolved all questions quickly and easily. If you are looking for a place in this area, this one would be a great choice!

What a wonderful cottage! We really appreciated so much about this property, I’m not sure where to begin. There were thoughtful touches throughout (Kleenex, makeup remover packets, bottled water, post-it notes) that told me the owners had really thought through what guests might need or enjoy. The primary bedroom had a very comfortable bed that made me want to laze the day away, and the cozy throws in the living room were great for a night of streaming video. I actually made Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and wanted for nothing! (There was even a meat thermometer to check my turkey!) The location of the cabin was well situated with Stillwater, Afton Alps, and St. Paul, and it was easy to explore the area. Great hosts and great communication, too! Thanks so much!

Amazing home away from home!!

This is place is so great that I worry the secret will be out and will be sold out all the time! :) Wonderful experience staying for a long weekend! Super comfy furniture and every detail thought of. Very quiet neighborhood close to excellent restaurants and shopping with a quick drive into the cities.

A dog friendly gem

A great property. It was cozy, quiet and nice road to walk dog down. Big flower laden yard with great spots to sit. Nice large tv, comfortable beds. Good door lock. Felt safe, relaxed and close to Stillwater’s amazing downtown.

Very clean, well-stocked with amenities, comfortable cottage and neighborhood, with easy access to shopping. Both Sunfish Lake Park and Lake Elmo Park Preserve are convenient by car or bike. We traveled with a pet, and close access to trails was a plus. We had a great experience!!

Charming

Very cozy and nicely remodeled property! It had all the comforts of home including nice touches to welcome our dogs! Nice big yard with walking trails just down the street. Close to Stillwater for shops and dining by the water! Carly is a very responsive great host!

cozy cottage to unplug!

Perfect cozy cottage style home for a small family to unplug from life distractions for a few days. Very convenient location to other attractions. Quiet neighborhood. Comfy master bed. Only caution is strong air freshener and dryer sheet scents if you odor sensitivities. Host was very helpful, responsive to questions and helped make our stay the best for what we were looking for!

Peaceful and Wonderful!

My husband and two dogs stayed on this property while visiting family. The cottage was adorable with a very efficient design and very cozy. Carly even had similar amenities in the bathroom as you would find in a four star hotel. The kitchen was very well stocked. The best part was the yard was the firepit and landscaping. The area was rural, despite other homes being on the street. The neighbors were very friendly. It was a welcome break from life in the city. We could go into the Cities and Stillwater for shopping and nightlife while returning to the peace and quiet of this cottage. It was the best of both worlds.

Our family loved this little cottage!

Everything about our 3 night stay was perfect. The landscaping and flowers were beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. As soon as we drove up, we knew this was a special place. It was conveniently located near grocery and access to other communities. The inside of the home was just as it appears in the photos. It was welcoming, clean, well stocked and adorable. You could tell the owner and those who help manage the property take pride in this home. We had only one question for the owner during our stay and she answered promptly. We will definitely stay here again and recommend others to as well. Although we did not have a dog, the unit welcomed pets with lots of amenities for those who would bring a dog. This place was the favorite of all rental properties we have stayed at over the years. Thank you to the owners for creating a beautiful home away from home.

Sweet, Cozy, Perfection!

This is our 2nd stay at the cottage and have loved both our visits! Carly is a wonderful host! She is very communicative and has thought of every little detail to make the home welcoming and comfortable. The cottage is also one of the cleanest properties I have rented, and there have been quite a few. The property is lovely, and much enjoyed by our pups! It is in a peaceful neighborhood that is very close to main thoroughfares and highways for easy touring of this beautiful area. I highly recommend the cottage! I know we’ll be back again!

Great spot for a girls’ weekend!

From even before checking in, the communication with the owner was great. We were able to get into the beautiful property without any issues. Any questions during our stay were responded to very promptly. The home is absolutely adorable and was the perfect space for four adults. Close to Stillwater but we found that the No Neck Tony’s just down the road was our favorite spot! No issues getting transportation from Lyft/Uber in this area. Great easy checkout process. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful!!! Absolutely wonderful.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is super cute and comfortable, and thoughtful touches for humans and fur babies are absolutely everywhere. USB ports everywhere, fire pit roasting sticks, wash/face cloths for makeup, well stocked Kurig coffee maker, etc. The kitchen is very well stocked, the (king) bed is very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. Communication with the hostess was prompt and friendly. These are the things that are most important to us. We had friends over to sit around the fire pit one cooler evening, and we had a great time. We wish we could have stayed more than three nights but look forward to returning!

Amazing little gem!

My family had the most amazing stay at Carly’s Cottage. The neighborhood location is so quiet, with easy accessibility to walking trails - which my dog loved! The space was as advertised, and MORE! Carly thought of everything - pet supplies, toiletries, kitchen appliances, extra bedding. It made our stay all the more comfortable. I also can’t say enough about the communication. Carly was quick to reply, accommodating, and offered up helpful solutions. Such a positive experience! The only drawback was our wet weather which prohibited us from taking advantage of the great big yard.
