This lovely home is situated in a quiet area surrounded by wildlife. It's walking distance to the lake, pool, and playgrounds. Only a few miles away to the Poconos Attractions: Kalahari Indoor Waterpark, Camelback Mountain Adventures, Ski Resorts, Mount Airy Casino Resorts, Poconos Country Farm and much much more.
You can choose to stay indoors in this lovely home, just sitting around the fireplace is very relaxing. You can also play pool and other games or sit by the bar or just watch a movie on this 75-inch Smart Android TV. Newly installed is a Billards/pool table with TV and sound system. There's an Enclosed Sun Room where you can just sit back and enjoy the fresh breathtaking scenery of nature and wildlife. You may see many wildlife such as deers, foxes, etc. Additionally we recently added a 4 person outdoor inflatable hot tub out in the back thats covered by gazebo for weather elements. You and your family would definitely have a wonderful stay at this Cozy Getaway Home.
Get out of your busy zone and enjoy the weekend in the Poconos.

It was freezing the entire time and there was no other electric heaters to support the ridiculously cold weather conditions. The house got down as low as 49 degrees and we were told to use the fireplace but we couldn’t leave that unattended while we were away from the house so that wouldn’t work out to maintain warmth in the house. The house was quite dusty and had a damp smell to it. It also had very wobbly furniture and railings that seemed weak or broken and unstable. The host gave the details needed to get in the home but did not provide much more detail or help in the difficult situation of low temperatures.We still enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for our group.

The place was overall great! Nice location and neighborhood. The home had a spacious living room and kitchen area, which was perfect for our group who wanted to play board games and relax around the TV. The hot tub was also a welcome touch, nice way to relax at the end of the day. We weren't sure if there was a remote to control the sound system. However, the dishwasher was difficult to use, as it didn't have the wheels installed correctly. It was also challenging to find some of the kitchen utensils a dishes, could be better organized. The kitchen sink also had a leaking spray nozzle. We also noticed there were some open wires exposed by the baseboard in the kitchen by the dining table. Unsure if they were live wires, but it felt like a safety concern. Some of the outlets didn't work, and there were a lot of loose outlets where it was hard to keep our chargers secured in the outlet. Some of the soap was very watered down in the bathrooms. Would have appreciated some extra body soaps be provided, as well as some extra towels. There was a bit of mildew in 1st floor shower curtain. The significant amount of spiders and webs around the property made it uncomfortable using some of the areas of the property, like the decks and game room. I also have sensitivity to the chemicals Air Wicks, I would much rather prefer just having a clean neutral smell.

Amazing retreat!

Our cross country team reached out to Ryan about staying at his place for some amazing trail running. The boys absolutely loved their time in the house and enjoyed the nearby amenities offered. There was ample space for them to be comfortable! They loved the outdoor space and even got a pic of a woodchuck nibbling on some watermelon they left outside in hopes of catching a glimpse of the local wildlife. Thanks Ryan! The boys are looking forward to next year already!

We are a family of 8 that stayed for 5 nights in July. We have been renting homes through VRBO as a family for a number of years. While this wasn't our favorite property, I don't really have anything bad to say about it either. I'll go through the pros and cons.Pros: Kitchen is VERY well stocked with cookware and utensils, probably the best of any property in that aspect.Host is very responsive to any issues or inquiries.Area of home in community is very quiet.Lots of deer and wildlife to watch.Pool table, darts, corn hole and board games for the kids to play when they get bored.A/C unit in every room. Cons:Dishwasher doesn't work very well, but not a big deal.Ceiling in game room leaked after a large storm so we couldn't play pool or utilize that room for a night, but after that no issues.Cleaners could be a little more thorough, there was garbage on the deck from the previous renter and garbage on the floor under the beds. All in all, it was a fine stay. We did worry a little about the upstairs bathroom and potential leaks in the future as it appeared the tiles may have been installed backward and it looks like grout was never applied and didn't look as inviting as the photos, but it's nothing that affected our stay. I will agree with a previous review that some of the work looked a little rushed in the home. Avoid the community lake and pools, not worth it, go elsewhere. Lake was closed due to e-coli. Pool charges 12 per person.

Nice escape from the city

Overall a decent experience, Ryan was very responsive and answered any questions. There was a small issue upon checking in, as the house sits in a gated community and you have to check in at there office (apparently they misplaced the email saying we were coming to check in). They do also charge 12 a day PP to use there pools if you choose to do so. Once we got to the house, it gives a nice homey feeling to it, nestled around nature and lots of deer. The hot tub and many air conditioners are much appreciated. Do note that using to many electronics in the main room upon entry did flip the fuse and we lost power until able to locate the fuse box (happened a few times). Other than that, no complaints. The house is well equipped and stocked. Def a nice way to get away from busy city life and to relax.

Nice stay

4 Day Stay

Great place, we enjoyed our stay very much. The place was cleaned right before we checked in. The fridge smelled like rotten food for the first 3 days. And all the rooms had a strong aroma of vinegar/cleaning smell that would no go away. Not much to do in the area but is a nice getaway for relaxing.

Great experience

Experience was nothing short of amazing. A great place to get away from the city and just relax with nothing but the beautiful sceneries and quiet.The house itself felt cozy and warm like you would see in the movies. Communicating with the host was easy and all questions were answered. Would definitely be staying here again and will recommend to family and friends.

Misleading Photos and Poor Quality

I was really disappointed with my stay, as the property did not live up to the expectations set by the photos and description. The house was always cold, and despite having a fireplace, it didn’t seem to work properly—it provided no heat, and the fan wasn’t functioning. Snow removal was a frustrating experience, as it wasn’t cleared until late at night, even after I had to ask multiple times. I also had to request salt for the icy areas, which should have been taken care of beforehand. The hot tub was an inflatable one and the bubbles didn’t even work, which was incredibly disappointing. The overall construction of the house felt rushed and poorly done; for example, the tiles in the upstairs bathroom near the door weren’t glued properly, making it feel unfinished. The walls also had outlets that had just been painted over. Showering was another hassle, as the hot water took forever to heat up. The pool table was much smaller than your average pool table, making it hard to enjoy. Overall, the house looked much better in the photos than it did in person, and it felt like a poorly maintained property. This stay was far from relaxing and definitely not worth the cost.
