This was a last minute VRBO selection due to a snowstorm delaying our travels. We were lucky that it was available! Fenced in yard for our dog, gas fireplace to make things cozy, foosball for some fun. Convenient location to shops/restaurants/parks. And to top it off we came into a lit Christmas tree. Very loud next to busy street. House is well stocked and has a great kitchen!Loved having access to wash & dryer and fenced in backyard. No garage door opener and drive wasn’t shoveled or cleared and I got there 3 days after snow fall.

Wonderful Stay in Prairie Village

Decided after years of staying in hotels when visiting our children in KC, decided to rent a home for more gathering space.The house was a perfect fit and allowed for family gatherings and having an equippe kitchen allowed for cooking together.It was a terrific experience and created many wonderful memories.

Great Rental for Move

Chiefs Game Weekend Stay

This property was perfect for my family during a weekend stay for a Chiefs game. The neighborhood was nice and close enough but not too close to the stadium. Added bonus was the games room in the basement. The kids really enjoyed that feature.

Great location, areas oneeded attention

Loved the location. A few blocks from restaurants that we walked to so that was a plus! Decor of the home was lovely. We stayed here based on cleanliness and comfort in the reviews and photos. It was not as clean as expected. An overall deep clean was definitely needed both inside and outside on the patio and front porch. The host was responsive and said that she would address in between guests.

My family stayed at this property over Thanksgiving and the house was perfect. Location is close to Prairie Village and the Plaza. The host responded promptly. I definitely recommend this property.

Great home for weeklong stay

Was in town for a full week working and seeing friends/family. The house is in great shape. Excellent kitchen with plenty of fridge space. Very nice bathroom with double vanity. The beds were actually comfortable. Backyard was a bit muddy for the dogs, but it was just a rainy week. We would definitely come back.

Very Clean House and Nice Neighborhood.

The house was perfect for our stay! It was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed the games downstairs. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. There was a storm the last night we were there and the house lost electricity. Kristina was apologetic even though it was COMPLETELY out of her control and she even offered us extra time if we needed it for checkout. We would definitely stay here again!

This house delivered everything it promised. Location, especially access to parks, was great. All the amenities inside were beyond expectations. Bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen all surpassed expectations. Loved the sunroom area. Deck was nice. Back yard needs attention but sure that will soon rival the inside. Thanks for having us. Would definitely stay again.

Prairie Village Gem

We had a great two week stay. The house is cute, clean and in a great location. The owners are very responsive. A grocery store, bakery, and other shops are an easy1/2 mile walk away. Getting downtown only takes 15 minutes. Roe is a somewhat busy street but pulling out of the drive isn’t that challenging. We will stay here again.

House is not an “oasis.” It is on a moderately busy street, though the noise is not excessive. It is the condition of the property that we found extremely disappointing, including: Stained furniture; doors that were very difficult to open/close/lock; a kitchen sink that “howled,” etc. I contacted the property manager, who offered what I felt were unworkable solutions. While she did offer to reimburse me 5 for the corkscrew we had to buy, she turned down my request to have the cleaning fee reimbursed. Suffice it say that I will not be returning.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear the home didn’t meet your expectations. When you reached out, I offered to come by immediately to address your concerns, which included leaves on the deck, some dust on the outdoor furniture, and a few maintenance items like a sticky door and a noisy sink. You preferred that I wait until after your stay, which I completely respected. All of those items have since been taken care of. As noted in the listing, the home has an outdoor deck and patio area that are cleaned after every checkout, but because they’re exposed to the elements—especially during the fall season—some natural debris like leaves or dust can accumulate between guests. I always aim to provide a comfortable, well-cared-for space, and I take every piece of feedback seriously to keep improving. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Great home base for KC!

We really enjoyed this property! My daughter and I were just getting away for the weekend to somewhere we had never explored and ended up choosing KC. This property was perfect for both of us and a quick drive to all we wanted to see... Downtown museums (18th & Vine,) T-Mobile Center for a concert, Power & Light District, Arrowhead and Kauffman stadiums! We also found lots of great food and a wonderful distillery within short drives. The house is in a very nice neighborhood and though it is on a central street, I would not at all consider that a negative. There is a spacious backyard for kids as well as a basement with games. We would definitely visit this property again if ever we find ourselves back in KC!
