The Space:

Pocono Modern & Rustic is part of the Live Free Hospitality collection — easy to Google if you want to learn more about our brand. 😊



2 Bedrooms with a LARGE lounge/sleeping loft (functions as a 3rd bedroom, if needed). Central AC for those hot days to keep you cool after a long day hiking or at the beach. Conveniently located close to Camelback Mountain Resort, Jack Frost, & Big Boulder, as well as numerous hiking trails, shopping + wineries. Kalahari is only 5 minutes away! Or take a short drive to CamelBeach, Aquatopia, or Great Wolf Lodge water parks.



The cottage is a quick drive to the Crossings outlet for discounted deals, the candle shops, and Callie's Candy Kitchen. In the summer, enjoy the community lake, raft/kayak/canoe on the lake nearby, or the Lehigh River for white water rafting. Horseback riding is available all year long as well as other fun-filled family activities. Jim Thorpe is in close proximity; check out Earth Day or explore the historical tours through the Old Jail Museum and Packer Mansion; shopping there is like stepping back in time!



The cottage is also only a few minutes away from the Mount Airy Casino & Golf where you can enjoy 18 holes of golf during the day and table games like craps, blackjack & roulette. The casino also has a nightclub and restaurants. There are plenty of restaurants and bars only a stone's throw away: VanGilder's Jubilee, and Pub in the Pines are local favorites and others are a close drive away, including PBC, Desaki and Barley Creek Brewery. The nearby, classic Casino Theater shows featured films on the big screen. Don't forget to plan your holiday week/weekend for July 4th! Fireworks a-plenty!

Guest Access:

You'll have total access to the entire cottage! The place is completely yours to enjoy & have fun! You will have Self Check-in, at your leisure according to your schedule. I leave the level of interaction with me up to my guests. If you'd like me to offer tips & recommendations - just ask!



The Neighborhood:

The cottage is located within the Emerald Lakes Recreation Community. Access 5 lakes as well as hiking trails near the property. Kalahari Water Park and Mount Airy Casino are close by.



Getting Around:

You will need a car, but Uber is available for nights you want to head out for drinks at one of our favorite spots: Boulder View Tavern at Lake Harmony in the Blakeslee Area.



Other Things to Note:

PLEASE READ before booking: We require some information that is needed by the Home Owners Association and must be submitted 1 day prior to your arrival. Failure to provide this information will be penalized by HOA for $100. Please send an inquiry for more details.
