Situated roughly seven miles south of Downtown Savannah, Leeds Gate-Colonial Village is a tree-filled, attractive neighborhood bordering Hunter Army Airfield. Its western border, Middleground Road, leads south to Armstrong State University. Savannah State University is also nearby -- just six miles northeast. Leeds Gate-Colonial Village is a perfect location for shopping -- Oglethorpe Mall is adjacent to the neighborhood on its northeast side, and Savannah Mall is to the southwest. For golfers, the Hunter Golf Club borders the neighborhood on its north end.

Perfect Girls Trip

Comfortable, Clean, Convenient, FUN!

We had a great stay! Beds were comfy and the rooms get really dark so we slept great! The house was well stocked with everything you need! Yolanda was extremely responsive and helpful. The pool felt amazing and was such a plus! We had an amazing stay! Highly recommend

Great place

Great place for a great price. Has everything you need to have a great stay. Pool was icing on the cake. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a few minutes drive. Downtown Savannah is an easy drive. Would stay again.

Loved the private pool

Overall our stay was great. We loved having our own house and private pool. The house was located within 40 minutes or less to everything we wanted to see. If you are looking to stay in Savannah, we would recommend this house!

Savannah World Series

We went for our sons Little League World Series and the house was perfect! It was central from all the ball parks we had to play at, close to the beach and downtown. The pool was the perfect way for everyone to come back and relax. The house was spacious and comfortable. We felt safe and at home. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again!

Girls trip

This was the perfect house for 7 of my good friends for a girls trip. There was plenty of space, the beds were comfortable, very clean. The pool was the cherry on top! Spent a lot of time outside in the pool. Quick Uber trip into downtown Savannah and grocery stores/Walmart/target. Definitely recommend this property!

1 large bed in listing was not there. Things left out all over home. Looks like there was a party and rushed to pick up. Kids feet were black every night from floors. Like it hasn't been scrubbed in months.Heater for pool/hot tub has been on "backorder " since March from the reviews I read.Washer and dryer took hours do to a load and we had to bring wet cloths home. We started a load at 530 pm and 730 am it was still not ready.Pillow are flat as a pancake in all the rooms.Lights didnt work in room with twin beds and the blind for window was laying on the floor.Smell of sewer 1 night at dinner next morning main bathroom was unusable. Plumber did come and fix it BUT left sewer in tub and floor so we didn't use that bathroom any longer. 6 people to use 1 bathroom.Shower in master bedroom doesn’t drain so you are standing if water. Cracks in the front door you can outside.House either has been used to much amd needs love or a work in progress and needs love. Needs TLC

Sister Cousins family time

The stay was great! The place was comfortable. Amenities were easy to find when we needed them. (Iron). However there was a lot of dust under the master bed. All others were good. Want to note repairing the crack tile in the playroom might add to the beauty of the place. Other than that the decor and space was excellent for our brief vacation.

Above and beyond

I said we were bringing my granddaughter who is 2. They had a pool life floatie and an amazing highchair that breaks down into a table and chairs. I hope people treat it well and don't ruin it for other people. We made a cake and had all the things needed for that and others left disposables and we're left done as well. Great place

Savannah in the Spring

My wife, three adult kids, and I stayed at Yolanda's house to take in a couple of Bananas' games and explore the city. The house is in a quiet, older neighborhood full of well kept homes. This home has been updated and was very comfortable. It was clean and very-well stocked with drinks, toiletries, and drinks. The master shower has the strongest water pressure I've experienced, short of a firehose. The pool area could use some updating, but it is functional and not a deal breaker. The home is about twenty easy minutes from downtown and the ballpark. Yolanda was very responsive and I would stay there again.

Girls trip stay

It was in a good location and we loved the pool! Some downsides were that the listing showed 4 bedrooms and listed one of the theoretical bedrooms as an "office" which would have been fine, but when we arrived there was no such space. It looks like the pictures were taken of the same room with different bed sheets and angles. The house was also not put together when we arrived at check in time, not even early! None of the beds were made, there was blankets and sheets just sitting on the couch and the garbage was not taken out. There was tons of left over food and drinks left over in the fridge and freezer. The house also had a lot of miscellaneous items stored in unorganized locations i.e. stuff just thrown into closets that were not locked so could be opened. There was a bunch of holes in the wall and the fire place leaked really bad during a normal GA rainstorm. A majority of the light switches don't work and it is very unclear where light switches are even to what light, especially when they don't work. The owner was very responsive to message so appreciate that, but the house could use some simple love to make stays more enjoyable.

Great Location!

This house is located in a quiet subdivision. We felt very safe and comfortable there. It is an easy 15 minute drive to downtown Savannah, and 25-30 minutes to Tybee, which is exactly what we were looking for. The house is very clean and comfortable. Yolanda was very easy to communicate with, and check in was a breeze. My husband and I had three teenagers with us, and they enjoyed all of the amenities. The layout was great, with plenty of space to spread out and have privacy. The kids loved the Karaoke machine and Ms. Pac Man game. The house was also well stocked with plenty of towels, and the kitchen was great. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the pool heater was broken ( which we knew about because I contacted Yolanda a week prior to our check in). It was just a bummer because that was the main reason for choosing this house over several less expensive ones in the area. The living room TV was broken, which wasn't a big deal because we didn't come to watch TV. The house could use some minor repairs (the doorknob came off when I tried to open the front door). Overall, we loved it, and would definitely consider staying again in warmer weather, or if the pool heater was operational.

Great location and size but misses the mark just a bit

The VRBO property owner is responsive and very friendly. The property was located perfectly for our family reunion/celebration of life ceremony for my husbands family. My husband, myself, my adult son and his gf and my SIL all stayed at the property. We all had plenty of room! The beds were VERY comfortable and the property had all the wonderful things one would expect with a VRBO. The owner had TONS of linens, towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent and dishwasher pods. However, the TV in the living room did not work. When you turned it on, it was white lines. The pictures show a hot tub to accompany the pool, but it doesn’t work. The pool depth is not listed anywhere near the pool, which is a big safety risk. There were no lamps in the other 3 bedrooms and the lamps in the master were positioned no where near an outlet. There was no toaster or coffee pot, but there is a Keri and a blender. The kitchen cabinets were a DISASTER. Being that I need a functional kitchen, I completely organized all the cabinets. Opening rhe utility closet and the hall closet leading to the bedrooms, is at your own risk. Things were thrown in there and fall out towards you when you open them. The front door is also treacherous. The light hanging in the foyer is held up by electrical tap. The door seal leading from the master bedroom to the bathroom is falling apart and the shower rod in the master bathroom would not stay up. The shower in the master bathroom also dr
