Inside, youā€™ll find a bright, fully stocked kitchen, comfy living spaces, and everything you need for a family-friendly Mississippi Gulf Coast getaway. Outside, relax on the upper deck, enjoy a swing downstairs while watching the game on the big screen smart television, or sip morning coffee overlooking the water.

Please note the following:

-The cargo elevator and boat lift is not available to guest.

-There are 3 outside surveillance cameras on the property. One on upstairs and downstairs entry doors and one overlooking the dock. These are the only cameras on the property.

We had the best time staying at ā€œTake the Baytā€. The house is decorated beautifully! We especially enjoyed the swings downstairs! I canā€™t say enough good things about this place! The owners were extremely welcoming, our neighbors were very friendly, and the boat house was a huge plus! This property is a gem in the BSL and we canā€™t wait to go back!

Great place , everything we wanted and more

Had a great short stay but wish it was even longer in order to enjoy the property. Was clean and the beds were comfortable. Furnishings were perfect for visiting and enjoying a meal. It was cold when we were there, but the outdoor tv, swinging chairs, and bar area underneath look like a great place to enjoy . And if you have a boat , well this is a perfect setup. Has all the amenities needed for a great relaxing trip.

Last Vacation before school starts backšŸ˜†

We loved the house. Itā€™s beautiful! The outside area was fantastic. It was over 100 degrees on our trip but any other time, we would have loved to be out there cooking and relaxing. Easy check in and Sammie helped us with any need! You will love it!

An amazing getaway!

We canā€™t say enough good about our stay at Took the Bayt! Between the relaxing atmosphere and ideal location, this place offered exactly what we were looking for. The host was very easy to contact, super nice, and quick to help with any needs we had during our stay. The outdoor space was perfect for my husband and me to relax and watch the kids play. The outdoor swing bed was definitely a personal favorite during my morning coffee. We canā€™t wait to revisit!

Golf trip

Perfect location to have great food in old town Bay St Louis or jump on I-10 and head to Biloxi in 30 minutes. Beds were extremely comfortable. Also the bath towels were awesome! I am ordering a set! Thanks so much. Weā€™ll be back same time next year!

Family Time!

I canā€™t say enough about the beautiful home! All of the accommodations were top of the line! The bedding was so comfortable, the kitchen had everything and more that we needed for our large group, from grilling to baking we did it all and had everything we needed to make it happen! The furnishings in the home were beautiful and comfortable! We spent most of our time swinging under the porch and visiting with a beautiful view while the kids enjoyed the canal! The owner was so accommodating and helpful making this the best long weekend getaway with my kids and grandkids! Canā€™t wait until next time we will be back!

Wonderful Vacation Home and Host

We have stayed in this area for years and by far this was the best rental! The host from day one was so easy to work with and provided many great restaurant recommendations. The layout of the home was great with the master suite separated from the other rooms and additional bathroom. The open layout of the kitchen, dining, living area made the home seem large and bright. The bed in the master was comfortable along with the huge den couch. There is plenty of room at the dining table or kitchen bar for seating. The kitchen included all needed items to cook our meals. The decor from the rugs to the furnishings are beautiful and make the home feel cozy. The downstairs outside cooking area was great for entertaining. This included swinging on one of the four individual swings, watching TV, or fishing. The home is located near the Hollywood casino and the wonderful Bay St Louis area. Be sure to eat breakfast at the Mockingbird Cafe and try the barbecue at Murky Waters. Two other favorites include the fish tacos at Trapaniā€™s and tamales and tacos at the Tamale Shack in Gulfport. We will return to ā€œTook the Baytā€!

One of my favorite houses to rent!!!!

Wow, wow, wow! This is one of our favorite houses to stay at for SO many reasons! 1. Working with the owner was a pleasure. Sammie was super helpful and made this process easy. I had a good feeling leading up to our trip that everything was going to be in order and ready for us upon arrivalā€¦and it was. 2. The house is gorgeous! Beautiful living area and the downstairs was perfect for hanging out. 3. Completely stocked! This sometimes worries meā€¦will I have enough pots and/pans, tupperware (if any), utensils, etc? No need to bring anythingā€¦its all there, plus more (all in one ninja, coffee pot, etc). 4. All info given ahead of time or is accessible at the house. Easy instructions for arrival and departure. 5. Close to Bay St Louis (but, honestly, we didnt want to leave the house). Neighborhood is quaint and neighbors are friendly. Took a walk in the morning and enjoy the views and friendly locals. We couldnā€™t ask for more. This is a wonderful place to relax, read, and enjoy life. Thank you Sammieā€¦we will be back.
